So funny enough, while editing I found out that the Crunchyroll version omitted some extra seconds of the awful events, I knew it was censored while watching due to the black spots but didnt know they actually cut some of the content as well

I really hate that SAO couldn't figure out a good motive for villains being bad people besides relying on a person's disgust for sexual crimes. They only did a decent job with Kayaba since he never really did it to be evil, but then they forgot to give him an actual reason. I love SAO, but hate the lazy writing for their villains. Of course not all of the villains are like this, but a lot of their major villains are.

at 7:26(time stamp) am i the only one who laughed at this scene. Bro the he jumps into the air is hilarious.

I agree and disagree. Sexual assault is a very real thing and there aren't too many reasons for someone to want to murder someone. It's not enough for them to be bad, they had to be the worst possible people for Eugio to break the law and murder them. The problem is this isn't the first villain the writers used sexual assault as a reason for motivation.

Yeah, villains who do sexual assault can be well written, but only if used sparingly. SAO on the other hand seems to do it for every other arc and it gets tiring.

Just in time, also will you guys be streaming tonight?

Settsu

OH Lord! S1 *flashbacks intensifies *

Musa

So will you still be using crunchy for the rest of sao or going somewhere to watch uncensored?

Walking

Drakuse

The eye thing was the thing stopping him, not allowing him to break it.

Somewhat yea later in this season, in S2 there's some rough fight scenes, but should be good to go

Grayson

I dont even know if I watched the censored version. I watched this on netflix a year ago. Even if I watched the censored version, it was awful to watch. I can't even imagine how awful the uncensored is

Halibel

that man has acute glitching syndrome

Orochiwonka

For some clarification; People don't glitch out when they die, the reason why dude glitched out was because he ordered humbert to basically kill himself in order to save himself and that's a DIRECT violation of the taboo index (which npc's are practically programmed to obey). So with the struggle of saving his own life vs violating the taboo index caused his fluctlight to go nuts and caused the "glitch" to occur.

oops my fault, i was thinking of the novel comparison in my head. You right, everything else should be fine

There 30 is just her number as an integrity knight. It's like a way to identify them.

kuroihana

Eugeo just learned how to right-click and "Run cut.exe as administrator"

What we watched was the uncensored version but Roshi had to edit a couple of seconds off cause they watched the censored version on crunchyroll. You can tell cause during "that" scene the video skipped ahead a little bit at like the 9:20 mark.

JsnSkg

I fucking love Alice's Integrity Knight character design. That armor is beautiful af.

Quick (late) comment: it's theorized that the way they empower their weapons in Underworld is the precursor for the incarnate system of Accel World. BTW, you guys would like Accel World. PS: I don't see how Kirito giving a man with no hands a rope to tie his wound is helping....
