Do we need to watch the last episode of Slime (S2 Ep 9) or is it essentially a recap? If its not necessary we are all caught up!

Comments

Bhumghart

They doing the movie?

関口信玄

If it doesn't have a .5 in it, it's technically not a recap and should be watched. It still has important information and buildup, which ppl easily dismiss because they have tunnel vision whining over the recap bits.

Mocti Ram

I agree that there's some information but there's no need to have a reaction for it

Preston Bryant

What episode are you guys talking about exactly the newest episode is putting everything on the line.

BigSchafe

It is a lot of recap but it does have some really good points in it too. It just hypes up what’s coming

Kwame Afriyie

None of it is recap. You need to do a double because the violence is coming. Been waiting

Chibi_Bro

It's an important episode in my mind, sets up the whole next section, without it you will be confused

HeMustBeKawaii

It’s definitely not a recap, everyone complaining just hates dialogue lmao. Watch it, and react to it, you’ll be hella confused next episode if you don’t!

Melker Linderoth

Its some recap yeah. Dont have to do a reaction, but you should still watch it.

Kha5

I'd watch 9 and 10 together

Renato Valencia

My choice was "yes" because you should watch it, but you can skip the reaction, or do a double

eastbaynick

Why would people not want you to watch episode 9,especially with what happens at the end haha

yasmina C

it's just a slower episode, but it is necessary information for the future ones.

Vensen Granville

Are u crazy who suggested this.....Boo that man

Drey

Yeah show us your reactions😤💯

Mike W

You will be confused if you don't and it's really good setup for what should be a couple of episodes of boxing

Minh Le

That is not a recap episode!!!

Enphiriel

watch it, don't bother with a reaction though. Also pls just upload 7 and 8, is there any point in not being caught up on Patreon if you have already watched them all?

Senjioh

Wait episode 9 is the final episode? So we have to wait till season 3 to see justice served?

Gigi

Not related at all, but are u guys reacting to the new aot episode today? It got delayed so only the 17min and 19 min version are out. If u do, I recommend watching 17min cause they cut out the biggest blue balls leaving cliffhanger. Or is everyone waiting till the official release

Kwame Afriyie

You guys are already so far behind on this as well as Haikyu, you need to drop some double reactions so you won't get clapped in the comments.

Michael Corleone

Lol it's not a recap episode but they do recap some stuff at the beginning of the ep/it's slower than usual

L.C.

I personally was very disappointed and skipped a lot of the episode. It wasn't simply just filler but it was a lot of recapping for what we already know. Mainly it was just all dialogue and nothing actually happening. The last 5 minutes is important enough for you to go ahead and watch it because it does set up the upcoming episode. Slime has been disappointing this season. It has pacing issues. Slime fans will bitch at me for saying it but I like the actual content but not the way the anime is having it play out. The directing for this season partially sucks.

DabnDab

Some of it is recap but some of it is not, so yes I wouldnt mind you guys watching it or if you want skip to the last 10 ish mins?

Caramel Martian

Definitely watch. It's only recap for like, at most, 4 or so minutes spread out through the 1st half. The rest is just a meeting that sets up the events to Tuesdays episode. The same ones complaining about this episode will most likely complain on Tuesdays as well seeing as how it's going to end on a big cliffhanger. Just watch lmao

Sunvue

Lol people butt hurt about this "recap" episode.... Funny.... Why don't you guys watch it and just form your own opinion, and tell us if it's a "recap"~

auxag

first 6 mins are recap, thats it

Alex Omega

Whoever told you this is a complete recap episode is seriously CAPPING. You have to watch it because has some important information for the future.

Lychee

You guys need to watch it since the 'recap' is only a few minutees in the beginning.

teddyruxpins

i would say watch it. the anime is basically following the manga anyways and this was in the manga.

Solatic Syot

Episode 9 is poorly paced and it's annoying, however as unfortunate as it may be I wouldn't suggest skipping it.

AetherstillLiving

I wish i could say skip it, but unfortunately they do put some key new info into the episode to prevent it from becoming a skippable recap (which honestly feels worse than a pure recap)

Jdogzero Silverblade

ok so your asking to react to episode 9 but havent posted a reaction to 7 or 8. and if you did can someone give me a direct link to the post cuz i cant find it

Daniel Robb

nooooo, don't skip it >.> otherwise there'll be no build up for this next battle :S

Irosko

I'm wondering how many people saying skip it are Anime only. There are things discussed at points that will come up later / or are referenced down the line. I get some of this could have been cut and I'm not thrilled about parts that were cut out, but it's more than the last 5 minutes that are important.

Halibel

why is there 200+ people voting no it has recaps but it is needed for the next ep hype :((

Cephandrius

kinda recap but definitely important parts id say do a double of 9 and 10

Stew V

wait for ep 10 so you can watch both at the same time, ep 9 is a recap + buildup for ep 10

OldManMag

9 has like 3 minutes of recap and then its all set up for whats coming. Def wait for 10 then do both cause while 9 isn't a bad ep its going to pair well with ep 10.

jhyphen

9 builds the context for 10. Watch it bro

DevilMayCarter

While it may not be necessary...HYPE is never a bad thing. I think others have already said, you'll want to go right into episode 10. (Plus might get to see Roshi throw Slime-san again!)

Larile Millvet

IMO it's not a recap, but it's understandable why it may be perceived as such. It's more of a pensive episode, and a final cliched "calm before the storm". (I say all this as an anime-only person).

Budats

You can just watch Episode 9 & 10 together when 10 comes out.

Devil’s Advocate

Bruh, just because it’s not action-packed doesn’t mean you can skip it. Imagine skipping plot and set-up just because you don’t see fancy sfx. Crazy.

TGDelta

the video title should be "this could have been an email"

johnquick

i would say just watch it on your own time.. a reaction vid isnt necessary

Dante Desmondez

All I know is that I need or can't wait for the ep. 10 reaction
