WHAT A GAME!

yooo that moment when everyone was desperate to make the point and everything was all shaky and then hinata just came in and received the ball to slow them down, ahh that was perfection, I cried like suga did 😭😭😭

Imani

the reason atsumu says that hinata is a scary partner is bc his jumps are saying “you’ll definitely get the ball up here won’t you?” Hinata tests and pushes his setter every time he jumps. He is essentially bending the setter to his will .If Kageyama was the king of the court then hinata is the king of the setter

Imani

Shoyo winning Best boy at the crunchyroll awards is well deserved and this season is why.

Goose18

yooo I’m happy sheera caught that that was the same way that they lost with the quick

Imani

Hinata and Kags blocking the twins quick is a call back to season 1 when our boys quick was blocked by seijoh. It’s a badass attack but it’s not invincible and our boys knew that . It’s seriously symbolic to have them block their own quick

BeesKnees

NOOOO NOT THE JAPANESE SYMBOLS. lmfao, Lupa never fails to crack me up.

Michael McCurran

Apparently, in the manga, only one of them actually touches the block for that final point. I don't know which one, since I don't read the manga, but that's one of very few manga-to-anime (for any series) changes that I really like. The fact they did it together makes it more significant, I reckon.

Jay rellim

sheera was right with the callback. they got blocked using the quick at the very last minute just like hinata did at the end of S1 to oikawa's team. iirc kageyama also did the 'this position/timing/whatever is perfect' quote that atsumu did at that set too

Pink Sama

Sheera was right actually and it’s wild cuz I didn’t catch how it was a callback until I saw a analysis video on it. It’s literally a replica of their loss to aoba johsai in season 1

Shadowblaze200

Yo Sheera's insight is insane man. The fact that she can recall that's literally how Karasuno lost back in season 1 when that was months ago for them is crazy.

Joneus

was I the only one who got hit harder than expected by the aoba johsai guy yelling at them to run back orrr 👀

Deon

23:02 lmfao lupa 😭😭😭💀💀💀

naomi

The last rally is so epic. it makes me want to scream

botanbutton

the music at the end tho, omg.

Devin B

I honestly forgot that he came up with that relax tactic at the training camp till that moment. He really was able to apply everything he learned in this match.

Lively Nili

The Miya Twins actually are as good at the quick as Kageyama and Hinata were when they were first combining the new drop set and the different tempos (The Perfected Quick). Though the twins were playing around with the earlier quicks, the last one was exactly like the Perfected Quick. It's just that Kageyama and Hinata knew it wasn't an invincible 'get out of jail free' card, as they experienced that first hand in the past. Sheera's right, Kageyama and Hinata were only able to read and stop the Twins Quick because Oikawa did it to them in Season 1. The twins downfall was using it as an easy way out. Hinata slowing the pace was a dope growth moment for him as well. He was getting counted out by everyone because of his lack of the basics. Great to see him use what he learned from the camp.

pasta

yo the fucking ending with lupa LMFAO

Ranginald Vagel

WOW I FELT THAT DUMP COMING FROM KAGEYAMA THE VIBE WAS JUST RIGHT The animation did a beautiful job of showing the leadup though, the way he backed up right to the net then turned perpendicular and showed it so clearly was a good telegraph that only the audience could see.

BeesKnees

Same! This match itself is so good narratively, I'm glad when people catch on to this stuff.

Anonymous

Damn these two goofballs laughing and disregarding when Sheera when she's the only one who understands the Miya twins fell into the same trap of speed that they did in S1. Has nothing to do with the quick not being as good. Props to her for recognizing that even before the monologue.

Kyle Smith

I swear. Lupa didn’t blink for the full last point

Mr. Toastman

"See ya later, Spiderman!" gave me heart palpitations 😂😂😂

Caleb Rosnack

“See you later, Spider-Man!” 🤣

Mr. Toastman

They're not as good as Hinata and Kageyama, considering they hadn't really practiced it, but there's is easily as overwhelming in terms of speed. Atsumu and Osamu just decided to go for it because that's the kind of player they both are.

MidnightQuay

This man lupa got me crying yo 😂😂

Jjj.

The best part about the video is how lupa saved the deuce joke, fucking epic.

Redback

Lupa at the end 🤣🤣

Torai

Oh man that ending had me rolling 🤣 You guys are a trip and a half

Edgar Lopez

Words can’t describe how much Lupa San makes me laugh, he never fails to make my day

Damion Middleton

I just wanna shout out to Daichi for that Save cause HOLY SHIT, I did not see that coming.

George Kiourtis

Lupa, your energy gives me life brother! "NOT THE JAPANESE SYMBOLS". DEAD 😂

Mark

"see ya later, spidermaaaan!" BRO LMFAOOOOO

Chibble

Sheera nailed it. The miya twins believing that the quick was an amazing weapon and couldn't be beaten and putting it all on the line with it at the end of the game was EXACTLY what happened to Karasuno at the end of season 1. It was only with the growth of all of season 2 that allowed them to use the quick correctly and to win the match instead. Season 1 / 2 / 4 all tied together in such a perfect package.

Candy

Lupa😂😂💀 my guy said not the Japanese symbols

Anonymous

Sometimes Sheera overthinks or kinda loses herself in her point, but when she's right, she's so fucking right. I'm floored that she recognised the meaning of that final quick and block almost immediately, even before the monologue from Tsukishima gives that extra insight for the audience. Fucking hell, I wouldn't be surprised if she remembered that what Atsumu says right before setting is exactly what Kageyama says before their quick gets blocked by Seijoh in S1

Budats

Lupaaaaa! When scenes like this come up, Lupa's reactions are REALLY AWESOMEEE! 🤣

Malik

I mean if the ball had went out, it would’ve just set them back at a Deuce. Since it was the final point, Karasuno was already up by one. But MAN I can’t wait til season 5 drops and y’all react to it. I always enjoy yall reactions. And Lupa really needs to chill because my side has hurt too many times laughing while watching y’all because of him mainly 😂

YoungMaki

“FEBRUARY!!” Yooo 😂😂😂😂

Budats

Starting at 20:10 was everything! 😂

Sennai woldemariam

I don't care what nobody says, the amount of quotable lines that had me dying for breath LMFAO, "It's March sir", "oooOOOH February!", "5:30's COMING UP FROM THE FLOOR!", "Their all using the same aura!", "NOOO NOT THE JAPANESE SYMBOLS!!", "See ya later Spiderman!". This has got to be the most gut busters back to back.

CrackerJack

I fucking love you guys, so hyped but laughing my ass off as well

Kwame Afriyie

Finally, you got to how everyone feels when they saw this episode. Welcome to Season 5

Anonymous

Lupa is a fuckin menace LMAOOOOOO "see ya later spiderman" I CANTTTTTTTTTT its 3 am rn

lud_genesis

omg lupa you are one crazy guy that was fucking hillarious wow

HentiDenti

One thing that makes haikyuu such a revolutionary anime in terms of sports is how the author makes the sequence go on. Haikyuu does it in a very special way when they are fighting for the last point that I have not seen done in sports anime. The very detail to the animation to the music. Even the reflection in kita's eye as the ball hits the line. Honestly I read the manga and it was hype but seeing it animated the suspense is just so much more rewarding.

HentiDenti

I watched the anime when it was airing read the manga before the anime even came out and I still holding my breathe to see who is actually going to score during that rally

Christopher M

At this point, Lupa is now my favorite character on the couch.

rolf hoefler

I love watching these videos. Y'all are hilarious together

ItsTITANyo

ahh man i love rewatching your vids! the ending though with the intense deuce and the "see ya later spider man" also combined with Lupa's laugh made me crack up so much i ended up getting a nose bleed!

JustRyu30

Best ending so far

PimpDaddy

Bro Hinata at 18:39 like tf going on with his face hahaahahaha

PimpDaddy

^Same with Kageyama after that.... just in general like holy crap lmao this episode reminding me of ep 15 hahah

MWS

thats just the art style, its not bad animation, episode 15 was bad animation because it was choppy and characters were drawn off model, while hinata and kageyama did look weird in this episode sometimes, thats the art style and the lengths it goes it wasnt actually bad

Hbitz

id watch infinite deuce works
