So guessing next season will be centered around the royal selection?

Comments

Bona Fide

Omg thanks for the early uploads!!

HoodedHiyasu-

I just got into the series like 2 weeks ago I hope we don't have to wait another 3-4 years for a new season 😥

MancunianProphecy

Calling it, start of season 3 will be an absolute disaster where people will be getting bodied.... best guess is archbishop of greed and gluttony roll up like "yo"... This anime doesn't do "wholesome" for long before they hit you with the depression!!

E

If you’re wondering why they never showed echidnas face in the tomb that’s because she is a different echidna than the one in the dream world. We don’t know why but if you compare the two they look a little different

Brady

Bruh was so busy making jokes about that being Echidna that he didn't realize it wasn't Echidna lmao EDIT: This ain't a spoiler, it's supposed to be obvious, WF just decided to be subtle about it. But Emilia clearly didn't recognize that body and Subaru said "That woman in the casket" like he didn't recognize her either. Just gotta connect the pieces instead of them spelling it out for you. That was very clearly a different face than the Echidna we know though

Anonymous

Man if yall havent read the comments above yet, please don't. Fat spoilers there

Bona Fide

Nobody asked for a spoiler.

Bona Fide

We can’t even read the comments in peace. Didn’t even finish the video before y’all drop spoilers. Is it crack? You’d think on the season finale people could read the comments and enjoy the ending together. Back to not reading or commenting for months again. Y’all are ANNOYING.

Mikal Adkins

Echidna has really pale skin while the girl in the casket had light skin. I don't think they're the same person.

Acire Golden

Explaining the constant face reveal teasing of Echidna. Its subtle but the Echidna that we see in the coffin looks older and more mature than the Echidna Subaru and Emilia met in the Castle of Dreams. That's why Emilia was confused when she first saw her in the coffin in ep 10.

ALEWUANGO

Re:Zero is a Masterpiece man I hope they announce S3 soon and don’t take 4+ years again🙏 Now it’s back to some boring Wednesdays we got some fire shows coming soon though so I think I’ll be ok until next year

MWS

The echidna from the grave looks different from the tea party, it’s meant to be obvious that they are different yet linked but the difference in faces isn’t really noticeable unless you put them side by side

Deiondre0

Correct me if Im wrong but when Roswaal told Subaru that he won the respect of the witch's disicple, im pretty sure he was referring to himself not Emilia

Flare

This entire episode was a mix of wholesome moments and Roswaal getting his ass beat by everyone lmao. But man ima miss Re:Zero Wednesday's. Hopefully season 3 comes around a bit quicker than season 2 did

I doubt it since we waited 4 years for a 2nd season I feel like they gonna drop a trailer soon since white fox is not doing any anime’s right now

Alex Omega

I give Re: Zero Season 2 a 7/10. I like the character growth of Emilia and almost all of the secondary characters. Subaru is still Subaru (I will never like him or his relationship with Emilia). I hate how Rem is still in a coma during this season and they use her body as a puppet during this episode. The only thing I truly didn't like was how fast they defeated the rabbits. The white whale took at least two to three episodes to handle. Overall not a bad season.

Uriel Rodriguez

They definitely cutted some content in the season, but overall it was good. 9/10 adaptation from light novels. I was waiting for that "pregnant reveal" since I read it. A part they cutted that I was expecting to see was when subaru is in the witch tea party facing the witches, there's a scene when subaru eats his own hand by gluttony authority, but I hear it was cutted from the web novel to the light novel bc the author said it was a plot hole for arc/seasons to come. So, the wait is on for 3rd season/ Arc 5 that is going to be full of fights, I can't wait to see it animated. And hope it doesn't have to take 4+ years more to have a 3rd season. Thanks for the reaction.

Devin B

The fact that Subaru didn't die at all during the second cour means that they're probably gonna have him die maybe within the first two eps of S3.

Big Daddy Dre

Kinda sucks they skipped the zombie erza scene 😕

L.C.

Roshi just had to add in that 5:30 meme right in that emotional moment lmao

Gabby Boakye-yiadom

My question is Subaru OP now with Beatrice contracted with him or at the very least with her protection him dying is going to be a lot harder to pull off from now on? They were able to do quite a lot together. That only means the next enemies are even more broken down the line I guess.

Gabby Boakye-yiadom
>>56290742

Well unlike the White Whale Subaru was told exactly how to defeat the Great Rabbit. Plus, we were also told the main issue was just the quantity as a hive mind, so the solution was easy to execute.

Anonymous

Next season is about the candidates vs 4 arbishop if I'm right

Giorgi Kvernadze

not sure if you guys caught it, but roswaal basically was transferring his soul into his children over the generations, basically killing them in the process. Oh and also, echidna from the trials looks different from the echidna we see in the coffin in this episode. they do look very much alike, but they are different and it's intentional.

Big Daddy Dre
>>56292282

They needed one more episode because either they skipped the shit with echidna or it’s gonna be at the beginning of the next season

JsnSkg
>>56288342

Well there's spoilers, and then there's just common sense/putting two and two together strictly from what is shown, which is not hard.

Jalen Holmes

echinda's face was different from the one we have always seen

Anal_fireworks

13:12 Rossi really said not like this 😂😂😂😂

Nikolai Cannady

damn I wish y'all didn't skip the end credit scene cause I always have to go hunt it down to cause some of these shows I watch with you guys.

Chesed Peabody

Now y’all gotta watch the ovas if u want

JsnSkg
>>56295141

There was no end credit scene, just end credit still images.

Alex cleveland

Amazing season!!! Re:Zero S3 better not take no 4 years like how S2 was bruh 😅💙

Redback

If they do a directors cut for S2 theres gunna b an important scene at the end coz they didnt adapt the last chapter of this arc obvisouly for a reason

Thamor

Only thing Lupa reacts is to Rem :D

Corey Pearson

I just realized why Emilia and even Subaru I believe seems to talk as if they can't remember Eckidna. It's like when Subaru first had the tea party and entered his first trial, she made him forget and he only remembered when he saw her again. After subaru permission to do the trial was taken back, she must of also took his wish to remember back as well? It just makes sense on why Emilia didn't know who was in the coffin at all though.

VictorBR45
>>56297632

No. They remember Echidna alright. Subaru talked about meeting Echidna with Garfiel, Otto and Ram on episode 43. Also, Emilia mentions Echidna after the doing the trials. So both Subaru and Emilia definitely remember Echidna. If you pay attention to that woman's dead body, she's like Echidna but older.

Yomeniester

The implication regarding Echidna's face is that the Echidna that was in the flashbacks 400 years ago had a different face than the Echidna shown during the trials. For what reason, we don't know. The reveal of her face (which is notably different than what was shown in the trails) in the casket and Emilia's reaction is to show that.

Denickart

Can't wait for season 3 in 2025

Ara Araragi
>>56295429

I liked the little nods to the Memory Snow OVA, like the snow Pucks outside the graveyard or the irony of Emilia accusing Subaru of being drunk.

Cephandrius

A very bone chilling realization that came from Emilias idea of how babies were made is that when she kissed him in ep 11 after the bunnies ate him partially and he was dying, she was trying to get pregnant with his baby before he died o_O

CRuEL_WOrlD
>>56288338

WHAT? even if her face is slightly diff it still wouldn’t make sense is to why Emilia and Subaru wouldn’t recognize her. I mean she still Echidna, wit the same white/silver hair, hairstyle, white eyelashes, Pale skin, literally the SAME outfit, like when have we seen someone else wit the same outfit as her? Exactly.. NEVER. So dont act like ppl were just supposed to notice that the Echidna we see in that room, is not the same Echidna we saw in the trials.

Mintteacup

It's a different face to the Echidna we have seen previously

Craig Stanley
>>56300996

Lmao. I hope they take the Attack on Titan route where they have a big gap after season 1 but have yearly after season 2.

Nugby

"That was her?!" Lupa bro, you're too much XD

Alex cleveland

I think y'alls reaction for Re:Zero is prob my least fav anime u guys have seen. Seems like u guys don't know the overall general purpose of what Subaru always tries to preach. I think Sheera saved these Re:Zero reactions IMO, so shoutout to her ofc!!! This is my take and opinion to their reactions on Re:Zero yall, so don't come replying to sum crazy unnecessary stuff when I just wanted to express my thoughts and feelings for what they've watched in Re:Zero👍🏽😂Still great reactions tho, just my least favs

Jake Disarufino

Rip re zero one of my favorite shows ever and you’re far far surpasses season one in every good way and s1 was amazing so sad all my shows are ending can’t wait for the next thing

D Reed
>>56304096

“Love you guys, but you’re shit reactors uwu, but I still love you guys, it’s just my opinion lol”

Ruben
>>56291392

Broken is beyond an understatement for some of the characters in this series

Percival

Was it just me or was Echidna's facial structure different in the grave? Like her nose was a bit longer and face was more elongated. Putting her appearance in the Witch's tea party side by side with her appearance in the grave, it really does look different, but I could be wrong

razgrizraven

Subaru was looking clean AF in that knight outfit.

HollowedSlayer
>>56314448

There's gotta be something to it. She definitely looked different, but Beatrice and Roswaal didn't seem to react to her being different so I wasn't sure if there was.

Settsu

YEA see yall in 4 years when the season 3 drops

AlexXis Amadeus

Next season won't be specifically ABOUT the Royal Selection.... but it will involve the other candidates in a pretty damn big way.

R3APER
>>56339984

nah. i think with its increased popularity it'll return pretty quickly. I mean, Isekai as a whole have blown up much more than they did in 2016. Just a little bit longer until the return of the Sheild Heeeero *Lupa voice*

Jordan

Where is Episode 24?

Skebaba
>>56302829

Yeah, some of the facial features only. I'm not sure which ones, but something just FEELS different

gfhh hgj

About Echidna's face being hidden all the time. Didn't you guys realize? Echidna's face as a witch (the one that talks with subaru and with emilia) is different, it has a wider structure and is cuter. But, the echidna from the grave (and from the past, in the last flashback from Betty and Roswaal) has a longer nose, smaller eyes, and it's in general, more ugly. I don't know how you guys didn't realize, as my reaction to her face reveal was like "who the fuck is that what happened to her"

Omega Kyo
>>56401460

The author said on twitter that the Echidna from Windows xp is 18-19 while the grave echidna is older by 10 years. I think the older version does fit the motherly / master image a lot more.

Sai Nonya

Usually I just lurk, but how did ya'll really not see that she looks completely different.

Wallet

their reaction to baby scene is just awesome

ANIMEMUSE

Emilia is not the witch of envy this season confirmed that. The person who is in the seal in emilias trail is the witch of envy. Remember they said that Emilia is identical to the witch but she is not her

Inug0d

Thanks for this reaction. Your trio is the best.

Ale D. Schuberg

Damn, rem really stood clapped for the whole season lmao

Peony 三色団子

Echidna's first person in the sanctuary → "watashi" Echidna's first person at the tea party → "boku" Her face was a little different, so I think something happened to her. Or maybe her personality has just changed. Echidna at the tea party is a little childish.

jack dylan Mclovin

the greed subaru saw and the one in the grave are diffrent people kind of

ANIMEMUSE

First of all episode 16 at the end was confirmation that Emilia is NOT THE Witch of envy. Next Emilia said she is the frozen witch.

Kenisha & Kim

Ok now that it’s been time and I basically looked it up if Emilia was satella and guys guess wht she is sorry not sorry they ain’t coming out with a season 3 and i got impatient after watching this for the second time but yea stop saying they are two different characters 😭😭😭it’s a universe where Subaru had his perfect time line and ended up dying so she gave him the return by death so tht he had more chances to get it right guys I didn’t read the book or anything I just looked it up tbh
