They really ended it with a SLIDESHOWWWW

Anonymous

LMAOOO the caption bruh. That’s really all we can say :(

Kalib Holland

150 chapters turned into a PowerPoint lmao

Deshawn Smith

Read the manga Roshi, get some closure

Shykiba

They said: "Alright team half way through the season we pissed off almost all manga readers and made a divide between them and anime only. . . How do we get them on the same side again?" ". . .Piss off all the anine watchers by making the series finale a PowerPoint presentation?" 2 months or 1 slide in a slideshow montage later "Good work team! We succeeded in making manga and anime watchers agree!"

Anonymous

that one scene was kinda fruity lol

kagamiluvr

SO... the ending in the manga is basically the same (they took a different route getting there) but it took 150 chapters to get there and had some really amazing arcs. So it's definitely worth the read! The goldy pond arc is one of the best manga arcs ever in my opinion. I hope we get a Roshi/Lupa/Sheera review (whoever reads it). This was such a disappointing adaptation but thank you for reacting to it!

kagamiluvr

i will pay for a manga review

Lol wow, so what was the point of deviating from the manga if the ending was still gonna be the same? XD I enjoyed most of it despite all its flaws, but I'm just curious af about what exactly was going behind the scenes, and what was going through the mangaka's mind. Cloverworks definitely did not have their best ppl on this one.... all their effort went into Wonder Egg Priority.

Jazko

Me being from New Jersey....lol

JJ

Roshi lowkey you should do chapter reviews for TPN on twitch 👀

None None

The worst part is that they didn't even really need the slideshow of shit from the manga. They literally could have just had the montage of the kids in New York, then meeting them after coming back. They're back, so you know they fixed shit. You don't need to know there was a floating demon involved.

botanbutton

I want to pull my hair out. But okay, whatever.

chefboyarkey

Just here to say how trash this is that’s all carry on.

danny

im pissed they montaged the rest of the series like i dont read manga so i wanna see whats next

Lord LaMink

Damn they hoe'd everyone by skipping over mad sh*t... Atleast the first season was fire, i guess ill reread the manga🤷‍♂️

Josiah

HUH?!?! What did I just watched LMAOOOO Ain't no way I thought we're getting another szn and it was just going to end when they left kids to the human world. They really said fuck you LMAOO

LeafEatingCow

First season had a perfect mood and mystery to it. Idk what Season 2 was. I did not feel the dread or despair for this season at all.

BeesKnees

LMAO this might be one of the most garbage endings I've seen. No need to show random shit in that montage that'll never be explored.

Jink5

Fk everybody in the comments I like this series idc idc 😂

LeafEatingCow

It seemed like it was following the manga then just weirdly rejected them midway. 1.We still do not know why the markings in the shelter were there. 2. There was no reason to make that demon look suspicious saying that he wont hunt the children but their descendants. 3. Random Queen that did nothing etc. Edit: Damn Sheera read my min 21:30

Kyle Hall

Season 1: God-tier.... Season 2: God-awful tier

Mamajoy79

To play devils advocate the resolution of getting to the human world should be the ending, and anything more shouldn't be in the anime, rather an ova or movie.

Emperor

Great season definitely better than "Jujutsu Midsen" Anime of the year easily, everything was so well put together 🔥

Johnathon

Is Cautious Hero still replacing TPN?

Anonymous

The best second season of an anime ever, eat your heart out attack on titan fans.

Lychee

They really made a powerpoint of the rest of the manga 😭

MisRule

why did they do this? Seriously, why? Did they not have to money to animate everything? Why? Somebody tell me why!!! They just glossed over a bunch of shit that would have been a serious challenge for them to accomplish and boom, THE END?! How? How was escaping from a damn house and one lady more exciting and drama filled than escaping a whole land filled with monsters. How did they fuck this up?

Larile Millvet

I'm not a manga reader at all, for any series. But even I can see that this season was botched. And this episode, the finale, was a clown show. Did the production studio just happen to run out of money at this episode? I'm aware of the gossip that the author of the manga was SUPPOSEDLY brought on for this season and SUPPOSEDLY gave all this their blessing. The thing is, I wonder if that is all just bs. I cannot comprehend how the original author would see season 2 as acceptable.

Cassandra

I haven’t seen season 2 and I don’t think I am going to based on everyone’s reaction to it. I liked season 1 and I don’t want my impression of the show to change

None None

I explained it in a longwinded reply to someone earlier, but tl;dr it's costly to get an anime funded after the manga ends for various reasons. Chances are they snagged the rights to season 2 cheap just as the manga was ending and knew they wouldn't be able to afford season 3. Hence the montage.

Nope, they switched up the schedule. There’s an earlier post on Patreon that shows the new schedule

LiquidXGravity

I hope somebody does a remake please 🥺

Hasan

What I did not quite get: Why were there more humans in the demon world? Are they humans that escaped from the farms or maybe were at Lambda like Norman?

Animelyze

They skipped the Goldy Pond Arc for THAT? Cheezus

Quinton Campbell

Yeah shit pissed me off. Game of Thrones level of disappointment

Jay rellim

I was gonna give this season a B- (season one was was an A) until I saw that damn slideshow of all the shit they skipped. That was highkey disrespectful lol they should have just faded to white or some narrator.... i read the goldy pond arc and stopped once i noticed s2 was going in a different direction so maybe i'll go back to reading

Jazmyne Mattucci

S2 proved to be the most disrespectful adaption of a series ive ever seen. Like they didnt have an excuse of the manga wasnt finished yet, this fully on them. And what makes it worse, when epi 10 aired NO ONE on the writing staff wanted any credit to this. That's when you know they truly fucked up. Throw the whole season away. and RIP to the 8+ characters that were never put in this season (my boy Yugo aint even in here im still pissed about that)

Denickart
>>56453312

I assume the studio just put all their budget into their other series Horimiya and Wonder Egg Priority since those ones are top tier

Alex cleveland

didnt even watch S2 of TPN.... sad way to go out. I usually never drop shows in general, but I heard too much shit this season, so manga way is the best way for TPN.

eric

when the show isnt good enough for another season you just add in still pictures to half ass wrap the story up XD

Enkyri

I was big disappointed by their decision to montage season three into the ending credits. I could tell there was just enough left for a 12 episode arc. Especially if there was a whole war that went down. War Arcs are the best in anime. I was also curious about that MujikaxEmma thing. It seemed to strongly be hinting at some interspecies shenanigans. I was like, ..... Ok....?

Senjioh

So season 1 was amazing they skipped a ton of chapters for season 2 and we got a speed run of season 3 to end it, this show went down hill hard after season 1.

Dimitri

Your faces on the thumbnail says it all

Benji

Mannn now that season 2 is over I can finally give a honest review. I hold back but now I can say I am disappointed on that fact they just skipped over certain arcs and then gave us a powerpoint slide presentation to end it all. I am going to assume that it wasn't greenlited for more seasons so they had to cut out all the arcs. That is the only explanation I can think of to explain this disappointing season. It is a shame but i guess it is what it is T_T 😢

JunpeiFES .
>>56507151

It is sad man. I hope they do a dragonball one here and say season 2 never happened like db gt and start all over with better animation 😹 i am not manga reader and as an anime watcher i am dissapointed as well 😿

Justin

Please read the manga on twitch

Mel B

I didn’t watch this season, but you can just tell this anime had production problems. Sorry fans didn’t get the season they deserve. :\

Kurumi

Creator asked for a shitty adaption so we'd apprectiate the lackluster ending of the manga.. he's a genius lmao

Ben2730

that was a good presentation slides in the end 10/10 xD understood everything

Seraph

Man this Seasons is like KFC Chicken without the crispys its good but they got rid of the best part.

Broken Sora

read the manga because they literally turned 60 something chapters into a 2 minute fucking slideshow

Anonymous

This anime is bullshit they put 130+ chapters in 11 eps and they didn't put in Yugo

Anton

man part of me still just happy to see them all growing up and free so its like i wanna be mad but i cant stay mad lol

Juan D. Lozano

This felt like when you watch a Minecraft let’s play and the YouTuber does “some mining off camera so you don’t have to see the boring parts”. Next video he already beat the ender dragon and has a castle instead of hole in the ground.

Eli Kisamo

Bro. A powerpoint presentation? A slideshow montage? I feel disrespected. I didn't even read the manga but that shit they were glossing over looked MAD important. I feel like we needed another season or two fam. Another episode at least. Shit!

Anonymous
>>56516591

What is the best part then didint read the manga just telle me or do i have to watch the manga

Yahroh

Promised Neverland Brotherhood

Kenisha & Kim

Dude they have to do a season 3 like to me it doesn’t make sense to end it this way like wht about the human world like we don’t know how the people are like over their screw the montage it ain’t that happy lol

Victor

It's weird to leave a comment on a reaction video from nearly a year ago, but I just got to this episode two days ago and decided to read the manga. So hear me out, you guys should really read the manga, it's great and wholesome. You might have doubt because this season is horrible, but the reason is that this season messed up the storyline. That powerpoint presentation? yeah it's like three arcs compressed in there so of course it's confusing like hell. Also don't expect any redemption from another season, because the events in the this season are supposed to happen at the very end of the manga, they rushed and skipped the stories and what we got is a jumbled mess. Season 1 is exceptional because they made the episodes strictly based on the manga so we got a solid first season. And if you guys still have the love for the story from season 1 and curious to see how it actually plays out, read the manga from chapter 38 (ep 12 of ss1 is chapter 37).
