Invincibles. Young Justice was good to watch and nostalgic but give Invincibles 2 more seasons and it would definitely be better. Plus Young Justice being on Cartoon Network held it back a bit for the first two seasons.

Yeah it’s a weird question cuz I feel like young justice would have been a lot better if they weren’t always trynna keep that kid rating. Also, invincible feels more consistent cuz they focus on one character

Lol, Lupa getting flamed for NO reason, lol. But we're here for it

When Aqualad punched Nightwing it was to pass the official flash drive, not necessarily to just make them believe he's evil or whatever.

Amzee

lowkey if their partner was Ikea, it would explain so much and the world would be screwed

PolarToni

you guys made fun of it but Tigress is actually Artemis' code name now lmao. They said it in the episode

What do you mean? They do not only focus on one character we literally have like 5 storylines going on in Invincible.

I'm sorry, but Invincible is way better to me. Only because it's not kids friendly. Imagine if Young Justice was more violent, and was on Adult Swim tho, then it would be a different story.

@Iffy Blue we don't have to imagine it because that's season 3 onwards.

It's too early to judge since Invincible's only 6 episodes in but if I have to choose right now it'd be YJ since Invincible so far has mostly just relied on shock value.

Season 3 of YJ was more savage in terms of violence which is why I like Invincible, idk I like both a lot tho

I think Young Justice often has too many plot threads going on for its own good, many of which are just resolved off-screen between seasons and don't really get satisfying conclusions (or require "supplementary materials" to fill in the blanks). I think it ultimately holds the show back more than it helps. Invincible is only a few episodes in, so it's too early to judge it as a whole.

"dat bitch was Artemis" made me laugh for some reason lol

not sure if this is plot hole but doesn't the collars only mute the meta gene? not sure if its been explained but it shouldn't work on superboy cause hes a clone and has no meta gene right?

I mean, the Brain used the collar on Captail Marvel (Shazam) back in S1 EP13 and it did suppress his powers. So even tho Dr. Waller explains that the collars are a blockade for meta genes, the collar is actually programed to suppress a specific power. For example in the episode "Terrors" back in S1. When Superboy was disguised as the male Terror Twin. Since the twin's power/meta gene was super strength, Superboy had no super strength due to the collars programming of blocking that specific power. Meanwhile Ms. Martian was able to still use her mind telepothy, teleconesis, flight, shapeshift, etc. since the collar wasn't programmed to suppress that power/meta gene.

Meta gene basically means that they have supernatural/mutated DNA. You can be born with it or get it later in life (on purpose or by accident) . Even though Superboy is a clone, his "DNA" still has meta gene due to Superman. No matter who or what you are, if you have superpowers/supernatural powers, then you possess meta gene in your DNA. :)
