ok soo, did we miss something? did they ever reveal Alice's true purpose and we missed it somehow? just trying to be sure

Comments

hokeypokey

Don't worry you haven't missed it, it's explained more in an upcoming episode!

Grayson

Yo don't forget to watch the movie

Jalen Holmes

Don't worry it will be explained 👍🏾

Conf3tti

I hate all the real world pseudo-scifi stuff in the Alicization arc(s?), but I guess it has to be done. Altho honestly I mostly just prefer it when Asuna has a 0% chance to be on screen

Big Daddy Dre

I completely forgot about the movie 😂

J. J.

Watch the movie for a better experience to this season

J. J.

Just 1 EP today?

Josh Knoebel

Speaking from experience, you really do need to watch the movie or there will be stuff that makes no sense this season. It doesn't explain all your current questions, but it is set chronologically before part one of Alicization, and part 2 gets very confusing at the end without having watched the movie.

Manny

Maybe they only had time for only 1 episode...or waiting to see if someone one else would explain it to them before watching more...idk maybe

J. J.

Her loss of strength isn't anything magical, she doesn't have the will or conviction to fight anymore due to her realization of the world. It's literally just mental.

I don’t know why people are going crazy about watching the movie. It’s all not that important. I’m sure they have seen comments of people suggesting to watch the movie and I’m sure they will watch it if they want to so please stop bringing it up to their face. Not that I don’t want them to watch it but sheesh…

Sterrific

They kinda explained why they needed her in ep 6. They needed an AI thinks like a human, and the ability to kill since they can't used copied fluctlights since they would go crazy believing they were the original. Alice was the first bottom up AI to break the taboo index on her own which fit their criteria for militaristic use. At least from what I remembered. Please correct or add anything

Thamor

Movie isn't that important for main story, but this season will have things from the movie. But there is possibility for future SAO story that movie plot had importance to it.

MWS

alice is basically the closest to human out of all Fluctlights

Mers0n

No ep 3?

Giyuu

Her losing her strength is just from her world being flipped upside down her mind is clapped 😂😂

Ya I wonder if they will release 2 or just do 1 now since it's a split cour series

Viicsta

Just a heads up Roshi and Sheera, you may have seen this comment previously but it's recommended you watch the Ordinal Scale movie once you finish this 12 episode series before starting the 2nd half, cheers!

returntolife

I suggest watching the Ordinal Scale movie before you finish this 12 episode series otherwise you'll be a bit confused during some of the episodes to follow!

Buzzlitebeer

please watch the Ordinal Scale Movie !

JsnSkg

Alice is so fucking badass. And then add on the music and animation, whew! Good shit.

JsnSkg

FYI Roshi, the moment you were like "wtf" with Kikouka being let down, he was just struggling with his balance since he's wearing those traditional and old-school sandals.

starshine

Are you guys going to watch Yasuke?

Ale D. Schuberg

There's almost no need to watch ordinal scale guys, relax lmao

KJ

If they do, Afro Samurai better follow. Yasuke aint cut it for me, animation and soundtrack was a 10 tho

wassa
>>59422474

yasuke was such a let down bruh, shit was straight up trash

matthew perry

how so, I imagine all they cut out was the gang symbol.

Grayson

Nah, watch the uncensored ver to understand for yourself. The censored ver has awkward transitions, flashing lights, zoomed still images, all of that just to cover the manji symbol. Trust me, they fucked up with the censoring

Anthony Jones
>>59453091

Drop the link. Another reactor was trying to watch on stream but couldn’t find it

Prime
>>59453091

Uncensored version is on nyaa.si if you search Tokyo Revengers Uncensored

Grelk

So no posts tonight?

The Truth

Ohh makes sense, I was about to say, they never slacking like this, one of many reasons why they’re the best Patreon out there

Daniel Borrego

i recommend bofuri and isekai quartet for your next anime's . you'll enjoy them both and isekai quartet is only 10 minutes or so per episode too.

Pedro Barrera

Nice reaction, btw wrong tag hehe

Ash

Happy Mother's Day!

Koji

For the caption of this episode, it will be explained later in the season.

damnjerick

Please fix the tag from "sword" to "Sword Art Online" :')

Absolute genius comment here lmao this is like saying that there's no reason to watch the Fate/Stay Night series of the the Fate/Stay Night Franchise. You do yourself a disservice to yourself and you disrespect the franchise in general sir, this is why Japan still doesn't place any emphasis on catering to the west even though they should be as the potential market here is enormous but instead we have ignorant ass people who literally claim that parts of series can be "skipped". Dont be surprised when your favorite series never gets finished or is completely rushed cause ur not supporting it lmao

Ale D. Schuberg
>>59431700

One thing is to watch it for support the industry in the west, the other is because people are claiming the movie to be important to understand alizication when is not. I said people needed to relax because of that, if roshi and sheera want to watch it theres no problem with it but they're not gonna find some tipe of explanation about alizication there.
