What I dont get is why Loki seems so weak? I mean he tanked the hulk smashing him into the ground but they over here fighting with vacuums being tossed like Black Widow is the one doing the tossing and Loki is having problems? Is the collar blocking his strength or is it just budget constraints?

I see this ending with Loki ultimately becoming a timekeeper (or working for TVA) and giving up his past life as a supervillain. I mean it got renewed for a season 2, so we definitely going to see him work here more.

I like that theory, but about the name, I could see a Loki with deeper daddy issues not wanting to be called Loki. He's also a decent sorcerer, so even if our Loki can't perform high level mind control enchantments like what we saw here, doesn't mean another Loki couldn't have acquired the skill. They had Amora's sister Lorelei in Agents of Shield, but Kevin Feige retconned ABC and Netflix shows :(

No. A lot of long running sci-fi and fantasy series (were pretty much in season 12 of the MCU) have issues with power creeping and scaling. The movies also try not to overdo it with power escalation, otherwise when you get to an end-of-event threat, the power gaps are just too ridiculous. You see it a lot more in the comics, the genre has a tendency to define powers depending on what is needed for the story; it's a mess.

The main problem that I had with the first episode was that I couldn’t hear what they were reacting too because they were reacting. For instance, you couldn’t hear Mobius tell Loki that the variant they were hunting was another Loki.

Yo, anyone who doesnt agree with this theory right here: In the credits, if you look through all of them the actress that plays the "variant loki"(who initially appears to be Lady Loki) is actually credited as "Sylvie". So like that's indisputable proof that this person is right. That's Sylvie as in Sylvie Lushton, as in Enchantress.

"Lady Loki"'s actress is credited as SYLVIE in one of the non-English credits at the end. That means she's got to be Sylvie Lushton AKA Enchantress. So not Lady Loki although she's a thing. But yeah, it's definitely Sylvie.

No offense to any of them, but Sheera is always trying to guess what happens next or dissect every scene, and Lupa is just dying in laughter most of the time. So, a lot of information can get missed during their reactions. Which, makes subtitles more convenient.

But her TVA files says Sylvie "Laufeydottir". Michael Waldron is probably merging Sylvie Lushton and Ikol together because the MCU tends to streamline the characters and lore they adapt. IMO they still "count" her as a Loki Variant. They might even drop Amora altogether and say Enchantress is just a genderbent Loki doppelgänger. *For all Loki. Always.* The big twist will be the truth behind the TVA, and with 6 episodes they likely want to focus on that rather than drag on her identity.
