New Grail War is about to be spicy!

Ougi

What's crazy is that harry potter meets the requirements to be a servant except copyright is a bitch

JonJon's Kooky Quest
>>115867570

I just came in here to say this lmaooo. If we can have The Count of Monte Cristo and Sherlock Holmes as servants then Harry Potter could happen too

Kyle Drayton

@Romane Moore “Hop off my nuts” because I said you don’t watch a lot of anime? Do you see how hard you’re deflecting because I said the truth? Touch grass kid, I don’t care if he’s your favorite character in your favorite anime because that has nothing to do with what I said and only proves my point even more with your cringe biased take. You’re the one that said he’s the “best written in all of anime” what kind of response did you think you were going to get? You pretend he’s “better than most protags” yet don’t even give a single example because you have none because you don’t watch any other anime.

Kyle Drayton

It’s not “end of discussion”, it’s fine to like Shirou but one thing that always annoys me are toxic Shirou fanboys that want to pretend he’s the only “well written” character in the entire franchise and project so hard by pretending no other character in fiction is as good as he is. You don’t need to play a 90 hour VN that only just now got an official translation to have an opinion on a character

Kyle Drayton

they're really not, you're bugging lol

WillGlacier

idc if it's been 4 years ago since you made this comment, YOU BUGGIN MY BOY. Shut your dumbass up lmaooo

Ember1213

Tbf, going through the VN greatly improved Shirou imo. I remember when I watched UBW, I distinctly said Shirou was a worse protagonist than Kirito from SAO (and I really don't like Kirito) but after just now finishing the Fate Route, he's infinitely better and probably one of my favorites

eastbaynick

Oh yall gonna love unlimited budget works

Jordan

Almost nutted when I saw this notification 😩

Big Daddy Dre

I know y’all don’t fuck with boruto but are y’all going to react to the naruto/sasuke vs jigen like y’all did with the momoshiki fight?

James

Personally I loved UBW way more than the original so I’m very excited for this!

Iggy

Rin and Archer greatness

eastbaynick

Jordan,son,we need to talk lol

eastbaynick

I know lupa watched it,more than likely roshi watched it on his own time too

Big Daddy Dre

Ayooo …..is it that serious my guy😂😂

Jalen Holmes

This is where the budget truly shines

Big Daddy Dre

Lupa reacted to it or he just said he watched it?

josh

LETS GO been waiting for this lol

Jaime Adam

I AM THE BONE OF MY SWORD

Brandon Ali

LETS GOOOOOO UNLIMITED BUDGET WORKS!!!!!

Heyves

NICE LETS GO

blickvic

omfg , i am the bone of my fucking sword

関口信玄

LET'S GO, FINALLY. I'm so ready for this. I saw the Prologue and Ep 1 the other day. So epic. This is actually Episode 0 btw.

JJ

wait bruh am I tripping or did they not recognize Sakura lmao

関口信玄

Funny you didn't see Shirou's face, but you knew who he was. But you saw Sakura's face, even her full name (she was referred to as both "Matou" and "Sakura") and you had no eraction whatsoever. Lmao.

Devin B

I think they're still convinced that she died and think that's a different person all together.

Aj

I like how Roshi was trying to piece together who sakura was but lost it 😂

Waka Flocka Flame

Yall might have to rewatch Fate zero cuz there was some stuff yall should have caught on to and there was some stuff yall got wrong as well. Also, yall need to pay attention more yall easily miss some important stuff and then wonder why yall get clapped in the comments lol.

関口信玄

Archer has the same VA as Sukuna in JJK an Aizawa in MHA.

gaelthras

So , everyone, how long until they figure out that the "timid looking girl with purple hair" is who she is and not dead xD

gaelthras

probably not since it's a 40-ish minutes episode

gaelthras

"I expected nothing, but i'm still disapointed" . I know they weren't going to recognize her since for some reason , they think she's dead... But i'm even more saddened by the fact that they did not recognize Gil boy

kai

im not gone say who but i cant believe yall didn’t recognize “oh dude” talking to sakura

gaelthras

They are not going to rewatch it since they just finished it xD

dertrollzero

i was so confused why they are not starting with ep 0 but this is ep 0 xD

Oliverson

When you guys finish UBW and HF can you do Fate Apocrypha, new main characters 15 servants in team battles and genuinly just a good watch

YaBoyNetero

I'm still surprised they never recognised Sakura lmao. I love you guys but come on!

Jordan

You didn’t recognize two important characters. Yeahhhh?

Pro Spartan

You have no idea how ready I am for this

sim

People can just tell them if they're mistaken on something, not everyone wants to rewatch all the time and they're reactors at the end of the day...

関口信玄

I actually just recognized him myself, remembering who won the Holy Grail War last time.

Rxonas

Not recognizing Sakura is kinda fucked :S

luis delgado

are you guys skipping stay/night?

Max Murillo

My boys with the Garou mark of wolves callout

Jolu

The adidas outfit was too confusing for them

Medunuuu

SAKURA ISNT DEAD. I wonder how many episodes til they figure it out lol

Medunuuu

The fights are awesome, but the story is barely even mediocre

Norrin Radd

HERE WE GO!!!! ANIMATION ON A BILLION!!!!

Thamor

All the other Fate animes are just mediocre at best. Only this original story is good enough to be reacted to.

Nardoc

my favorite fate/stay wooo

Izaya

did they juut didn't recognize sakura or am i mistaken?? because its relly possible for them to not recognize her, it wouldn't be the first time, but if they did then i am the one who didn't get it

Sebastian Stróż

I just want to remind everyone to keep their mouths shut about anything that can be a spoiler, even a minor one. Now to the crew. Anything you see now will get overshadowed by the production quality from now on. If you think this fight is good then next one will be better and movies will just trample all of it afterwards. I really hope you like it enough to dive into more fate, be it fate/cooking, carnival phantasm (which is 10/10 parody once you are familiar with stay night character), apocrypha or f/go adaptations! As always keep up the good work, you are all amazing <3

Jaime Adam

Lancer really a goat no cap

INDARSTRY

Rin's sister is alive you guys. Sakura isn't dead, she's the purple hair girl. Secondly. Sheera was not right. The command worked as more of a compulsion to be obedient. Sheera was literally wrong on that part and she kept saying like I said lol. Nah not like you said. Love y'all, just hope y'all pay more attention this time around. Oh and the holy grail happens every 60 years but this time it's only been a decade between the last one and this one.

Alvin

They think she died in fate zero 😂😂

Most Sane Oreimo Fan
>>62362621

All the other fate spin offs aside from the main storyline has decent storytelling. I think something from a spin-off that is good reacting instead is the FGO ones although timeline is a bit fvcked up cause they started on adapting the Babylonia now they’re on Camelot and planning to release Solomon before touching on earlier singularities

Jalen Holmes

Im just reading ppl clap you guys in the comments I'm dying lmao

Merciless721

Sakura never died in Fate/Zero guys. When it said she was devoured by the worms, they simply meant they violated her body. She was shown alive seeing Kariya die as he fell into the worm pit.

Akioooo.

actually fate zero came out before this anime but I get what you mean. Fate zero was a prequal to the original fate.

JayColl

Lol I had a feeling they'd forget Sakura. 😅 Hopefully they'll figure it out soon

Xandus

unlimited budget works

Darren Banks

Damn, comments are deep today... How'd I know Sakura not being dead was going to be the clap of the day.

Jalen Holmes

They'll figure out soon but the amount of clapping going on is wild 💀

Xavier Wildy

Are they gonna do two tonight?

Ambridge

probably not until heavens feel

Ambridge

Well it's not that good in animation anyway and just mix of UBW and heavens feel

Austin Yun

This week on clapped in the comments

Austin Yun

And yeah, ubw is all about Rin's ass and thighs. She is THE trope codifier for the twintailed tsundere, and also absolute territory (the gap of visible skin in the skirt+thigh high combo).

Noah

Man im so hyped for y’all to watch this. The animation gets clean af and I can’t wait for you guys to experience it! I’m also interested in what they think of the cinnamon roll as the protagonist.

Austin Yun

I'd be raging so hard if I didn't already know Roshi is smart as fuck

Thamor

It's not that easy as you think. As she wasn't shown that much and they didn't watch Fate Zero but like max 2 episodes per week...and they usually forget a lot of stuff because of that.

Thamor

I am mostly waiting will they recognize anything from what Fate Zero episodes had shown...

Syd

tbh Shirou isn't a bad protagonist

big siah

Sheera did say that your clapping your self right before it was explained she said rins spell would work like that because it was way to vague

Chris

in my opinion, after watching Zero, UBW was a HUGE let down. Aside from the animation, the masters or servants weren't nearly as interesting and the over all story was kinda boring. And it kinda does a disservice to the characters that were in Zero.

big siah

Glad nobody spoiling but can't believe they couldn't see the Sakura connect the "shady dude" talking to her yeah maybe had a different hair style and clothes. But Sakura should've been picked up from the interactions with rin

big siah

Go watch heavens feels

big siah

It's not really you gotta think the last war was way corrupt for reasons explained in ubw and heaven feel which I feel rivals zero story wise. Of course the story would be more impactful and deep ubw is the after math

Sun

They won't.

radeb

Yeah, it doesnt help that Rin and Sakura doesnt interact with each other like sisters

radeb

They still think she is dead, massive claped in the comments lmao

Sun

Guys gotta chill lol, they'll figure everything out eventually as they keep on watching.

radeb

In my opinion Heaven's Feel part 2 is peak animation better than Demon Slayer movie, i hope they watch the movies after.

13

Welp... They didnt recognize Sakura xD As a long time Fate fan, some things are super obvious(for me) at certain points in the show, but Im actually really curious what they will or wont miss

Leaky Peach

Aftermath stories can be done well. If anything, it's more surprising that Zero was as good as it was comsidering the stigma surrounding prequels at the time. But no, UBW has no excuse for being a lesser product besides inferior writing.

Anonymous

lmao today topic is clapped in the comments I see

YaBoyRoshi

yeah, i just shut the fuck up just incase I was wrong lmao

big siah

Very true also not until hf at least

big siah

I feel ppl try to shit on it because it's a bit slice of life ish at moment which doesn't make it it a let down imo plus alot of the source material and dialogue couldn't fit into the anime like alot of stuff regarding shirou

lxw970116

Only one episode Today?

2489

Enough of the not recognizing Sakura thing LOL. I'm just glad u guys r reacting to this. UNLIMITED BUDGET HERE WE GOOO

big siah

They are watching the movies and I agree I feel ufotable fate adaptations in general are better than demon slayer and the movie as a whole . Only time the anime was insane tht got ppl really hype is ep 19 hinokami moment and rengoku fight. Fate whole series full of those moments. Imo

2489

And I know it gonna take a billion years but I can't wait till u guys get to Heaven's Feel movies. I honestly feel it's Ufotable's best work. Like even better than the recent Demon Slayer movie

Spofeyy

Guys....remember Sakura the purple hair girl in zero isn't Dead, just saying

Lychee

Not at y'all not recognizing Sakura and the real Gilgamesh 🤣

James Yoder

You've been getting clapped in the comments for like the last 5 episodes lmao

Sun

They know that lol They literally said it in the reaction.

YaBoyRoshi

yall, we KNOW shes not dead lmao we seen the comments. We just did not recognize her since we seen her maybe like 3-4 times last season n it was always in a dark setting. The bright ass purple hair threw me for a loop and I wasnt sure enough to say something, and we still get clapped 😭

Austin Yun

Real talk though UBW is on par with Attack on Titan for shit that can get spoiled. Tread carefully.

Javier V2221

Seeing which heroic spirit/legend gets summoned to their specific class is one of my favorite things in the fate series. My personal favorite is Berserker🙃.

Grayson

it's not that hard

George Kiourtis

bro, if there be comments enabled, then a clapping will always occur!

Spofeyy

Damn y'all still got clapped😂, but it's alright, we forgive you

luis delgado

If you compare any studio with ufotable they all lose, and STN is not a mix if anything is the only one with kind of a happy ending

James Yoder

I'm trying to read the subtitles, but Rin's ass and thighs keep distracting me...

hokeypokey

Sakura plays such a small role in Zero so not too surprised they missed it, think they will pick up on it when they show her more in this series though~

Reign

they explained this already Archer classes have independence most of the time but there's more going on than that here but we cant tell you what it is lol. Also she was already chosen by the grail she didn't summon her servant yet. They explained how this all works already and yall already forgot XD.

Bart the Beard

Cannot wait for disappointment. Zero is a much better series.

drmayberry7

this man Roshi said, somebody's coming to cash in their Money in the Bank. I almost shut my laptop XD XD XD XD XD XD

Reign

These guys gonna be getting clapped in the comments non stop this entire ride through UBW i can already feel it.

Yanpo

None of the Fate series have particularly compelling stories except the Jack the Ripper and Artemis subplot. It's all just a big excuse to watch historical and fictional figures verbally and physically duke it out and no Fate series has more and bigger epic battles than Apocrypha with its team based combat.

Ashe

Go outside man wtf

None None

"He looks exactly like Gilgamesh, just different colors" Welcome to Fate.

A1_MiLFshAkE

Aye he's spittin + cultured :)

gaelthras

That's because UBW was not meant to be adapted as a "sequel" to zero... but i get what you mean

BZD

It’s not Dante, but it is Actually Satan.

BZD

I prefer his car form. Berser-Car!

BZD

Don’t spoil certain things, stuff was deliberately not revealed. It makes it much better when we get to see them actually see the reveal of stuff.

gaelthras

Do you mean ... BrAvE ShiNe?

gaelthras

Second Best love story in fate franchise

Renz

I get that reference.

Jalen Holmes

This series is also really good imo

Arc

Yooo finally Blade Works!

MystoriUnwritten

Yeah I think you’re thinking of the original Fate/Stay Night which yes is worse than Zero but UBW version honestly might fight Zero on very equal ground if not better

Nikolai Cannady

Damn they said all those family names at the beginning and ya'll didn't catch which characters they are or are connected to. The comment clappage will commence!

Pocparks

idk if anyone already said it but fate/zero was from 2011 and this one is from 2014 so that might be why it looks like the visuals were stepped up. for a 10 year old show fate zero still looks good af tho so

KevMath

Ngl I think I’d win the grail with Harry. And hitting every week on SNKRS isn’t such a bad wish 🤣

KevMath

Shits so funny some people get so angry lmao. That one dude that told them to rewatch Zero 💀💀

BZD

Cool. Good job Captain America. :)

BZD

Or does Gilgamesh look like him? Gasp!

BZD

To be fair to The Fate route anime, I believe it came out in 2006.

Syd

That's your opinion, it doesn't mean it has to be theirs. Still, what's your reasoning?

Syd

(SPOILER WARNING) How do you think the characters aren't developed? Caster and Kuzuki are fully fleshed out, Archer's entire character is revealed and develops, and Shirou and Rin grow through their relationship. The characters that get developed the least are Lancer and Assassin and at least they're made to be likable. Everyone else like Ilya, Saber, Kirei, and Sakura all get focus in other routes. What more do you want?

Syd

@Mally Animation isn't everything...

Mad Marx

Well the Fate route anime was bad even for its time, it completely fucked with the source material. Back in the age where anime adaptions of VNs tried to merge all the routes together instead of just adapting one of them.

Jose silva

And it only gets better lmao

Skebaba

This is one of the worst, but maybe it's cuz of high schooler shit and not the more serious characters that other Fate series have?

Skebaba

How ironic, considering Gilgamesh should be native to Mesopotamia, so he should have a tan skin, genetically speaking (altho it can be excused as him being 2/3 god, lineage wise, I guess)

Nana

Your the one who is most likely going to be disappointed at their reactions tbh

Nana

Ppl who shit on it are usually VN elitists or people who complain it ain’t as ‘dark’ as zero

Alex Omega

Do they know that this series came out BEFORE Fate Zero did so the audiences wouldn't know who Saber is unless you watch Fate Stay/Night first? I watch Fate Stay Night --- UBW --- Fate Zero in this order which is funny to me because that's my personal ranked order to favorite to least favorite of the series. (If you hate my list that's fine but I don't care)

AUO

this is gonna be an exciting show😁

Nivar Woods
>>62421125

The animated Fate Zero came out in 2006, UBW animated came out in 2014. The original Fate/Stay Night, which they haven't watched (and may not watch?) came out in 2004... so yeah, this one they are watching came out 8 years after Zero.

Stevetheiguana

The original Fate/Stay Night visual novel came out in 2004, the Fate/Zero light novel came out in 2006, which is also when the Fate route of FSN was adapted to anime format. Fate/Zero wasn't adapted into anime until 2010, and then UBW into anime in 2010 with the movie by Studio Deen, and then in 2014 as a TV series by Ufotable. Fate/Zero is meant as a prequel, so technically speaking you're supposed to finish all 3 routes of FSN before Zero, but nobody recommends doing that today because the Fate route anime is old as shit and wasn't adapted well.

None None

You can tell the UBW writers assumed the audience watched Zero, since they don't even bother trying to hide Gilgamesh or that Kirei's working with him. And they added in some extra scenes of Rin interacting with Sakura, since everyone knows they're sisters already and the show had to establish that they pretend not to know each other (as long as they recognize Sakura, anyway).

Giyuu

Ong

Giyuu

Before demon slayer I thought this anime had the best visuals lol

Storm King

I can understand the Gilgamesh but the Sakura thing is only because they still think she died in Zero

Storm King

Gil could be a bit harder to recognize especially since they didn't show his face

eastbaynick

Leave it to ufotable to outdo themselves lol

Storm King

The whole time he had that "thinking" look on his face I was like "come on say it!"

Beef Gristle Mill

I was kinda hoping they'd watch stay/night, cause as far as I know stay/night, UBW, and heavens feel all have the same intro or close to it then they diverge into different stories. I think that's really cool and it feels like I'm one of few who thinks that stay/night wasn't that bad, granted I haven't seen it in awhile but still I remember really liking it and UBW.

KB

cap, zero 2011, UBW 2014

VanillaCoke1956 .

This has fuck all to do with the "UBW writers". The VN was released in _2004_. The scenes in this 17 year old VN were exactly the same. There was no "hiding who Gilgamesh or Kirei was" because Fate/Zero literally didn't exist. It came out way later as a prequel.

None None

Nah, the anime writers made some pretty blatant changes from the VN. Compare the scene where Rin and Sakura bump into each other in the hall. In the VN, Rin takes the moment to ask Sakura if she's been holding up alright, how things have been going in her life, ect. That scene is obviously meant to foreshadow their relationship. In the anime, the writers knew most of the audience knew Rin and Sakura were sisters from Fate/Zero, so they completely rewrote the scene to make it clear that they pretend to barely know each other, even when they're alone. There's also a Kirei and Gilgamesh scene that's completely anime-original, but we haven't gotten to it yet. The original VN hid Gilgamesh and treated his existence as a big plot twist. (even in the UBW route, after everyone already knew him from Fate)

Viicsta

Does anyone know what day they release UBW episodes?

Sun

Monday.

Viicsta

Thank you

Godstinct

I think I like unlimited blade works more than fate/zero tbh. But it might be because I've rewatched fate/zero like 3 times before

Lola

Where is ep 10 and 21 of fate zero??? Maybe it's just me but I can't find them here

average enjoyer

they’re under a different tag. pretty sure it’s just #fate with lowercase

Lola

Thanks!

Omaha Sa'u

So glad I came back to patreon coz all these NEW REACTION GEMS bruh LOVE yall for this!!!

Saba

fate apocrypha is really good and people u all would like

Kinglaive

Ive never watch fate ubw before, so can anyone explain is it the same as original fate stay night, or this one is a spin off where they main cast tohsaka rin as the main protagonist?

eastbaynick

So in the fate universe there are three main routes: Fate,Unlimited Blade Works, and Heavens Feel. Anime wise the fate route came out in like 06 by studio dean. I wouldnt recommend watching it. But that route had saber as one of the main characters and it has s good ending. UBW focuses on Rin a bit more like you said, with Heavens Feel centering around sakura(Rin's sister) and has the what people would call the true ending. It's also the most dark of the 3 routes.

Kinglaive

3routes from the same series... Wow this should be interesting, ok got it.. thanks 👍

Renz

All I can say is, pay attention to the pendant. Very important yeah?

関口信玄

Get down with the thiccness.

関口信玄

People here afraid of talking about absolute territory lol.

Zeta

Unlimited Budget Works Baybee

NeoSpotLite

Spare some for seven deadly sins

Didier

I'm happy that you guys know about SNK games. Capcom games are so overrated in comparison.

Trinares

This ain't about the episode but Lupasan's shirt is stylish as fuck

NecDW4

Man, its a shame they watched Zero first, theres SO much info you shouldn't have when watching this. So many "OMG WTF" moments will be ruined just by actually already knowing the reveals.

2026-10-16 03:00 What I love so much about Archer is that he quite literally is all talk. He plays mind games that save his own life, considering that while he is an adaptable and reliable servant, his physical ability/powers just do not measure up to servants that would win the holy grail: instead, he measures up with his intelligence.
2021-10-10 08:54

Fizzy 🐉

he is the batman of the fate verse

Godrick

trippin. Nothing with Gilgamesh makes sense without seeing Zero first

Jason Holt

You're absolutely right. It was actually made to be watched in that order, but so many people insist on watching Fate Zero first. It's whatever though.

gggoos

People recommend watching Zero first bcs the 2006 F/S N adaptation is most of the time deemed not worthy of watching. Jumping into UBW blind is also confusing as fuck as they leave a lot of stuff untold what you are supposed to know before jumping in to UBW which they explain in the fate route. Either way you would get spoiled whichever you watched first.

Ramone Moore

Bro I know im not the only one that watched stay night first bro shiro the best mc all time to me

Kyle Drayton

You don't watch a lot of anime to be saying something that ridiculous

Sameer Khan

Except he is an amazing MC, the anime didn't do a great job of portraying his character but it was somewhat decent nonetheless, however if you read the source material you'll realize how well written he is as a protag and how intriguing his state of mind is. Shirou is goated, end of.

Ramone Moore

Shirou is the mc of my fav anime n one of the first ones I watched ofc imma say he the best mc hop off my nuts kyle n if you read any fate source material you know shiro is better written then most main steam protags

Savage
>>69509199

He's pretty strong though regardless, he is a match for even Gilgamesh when he's not using EA (No one can beat EA) so he's pretty busted sometimes.

Savage

Even though they recently finished Zero it feels like they forgot who Sakura was. "The girl in the purple hair" lmao idk but it's pretty important to remember that she was the bug girl in Zero. Oof they've finished it anyways.

chou sion

archer emiya>>>>>shiro
