Uh.. hehe... oops. Sorry, I didn't mean to be spoilery. I could've phrased it better, but yeah, last episode you see sparks and hear a metallic ping as the Major is hit in the face. So it's fast, but the evidence is there that it's a ricochet off of the steel helmet. And all I gotta say to Violet losing both arms and still moving, trying to haul the Major out with her teeth, is that Adrenaline is a hell of a drug.

Sheera. Violet wasn't "emotionless" or a "robot". She simply had never learned how to emphatise with anyone concidering that's something a soldier doesn't need/want. Same with her feelings. a "good" soldier doesn't need those. But she still HAS emotions (even if she was terrible at expressing those)
