this Cyborg buildup is killin us

Comments

Dude559

"Who is that? Cassandra?" bra you saw her literally 3 episodes ago. Y'all have really shitty memory

killilu

man i really wish they could have had subtitles on the vid, kinda crazy no one in the comments was asking

Ziah Waite

i peeped it after the booyah. i was wondering why his voice sounded familiar. and Gar is voiced but the original beast boy VA from teen titans

Ziah Waite

im glad u said this because during that whole scene in the lockerroom, bells were going off in my head. i recognized his voice from something but also i couldve sworn it sounded like the dad at some parts. then he said booyah and i was like "thats cyborg!" but good to know i was right about the dad thing too

Ziah Waite

honestly i dont blame them. i dont think they were watching these back to back and this show loves to throw in random characters often with little to no explanation. u wouldn't expect vandal's daughter to be a ninja for the shadows, you'd expect her to be working under him

Jazko

Btw new season confirmed (late 2021). Love y’all❤️. The same cast and more😉

MRBS

Is that confirmed? I don't see any news a/b that anywhere else

Revis

I’m so scared for them to react to the 2nd half. I already know they aren’t gonna like it😬 hopefully they don’t drop the show

Jazko

Wdym? Tbh personally Victor Stone, just like the JL movie. Was the HIGHLIGHT of the season

Neubaufahrzeug

Lupa and Rosh ready to hop in the show and speed up victor's transformation into Cyborg.

kai

yeah metamorpho is op as hell

razgrizraven

I'm annoyed that Khary Payton isn't voicing Cyborg this time around. Giving us a Booyah like that....how dare you.

Big Daddy Dre

I think he means the shit with beast boy which a nigga could care less about cus is was mid 🤷🏾‍♂️

Dark Danny

are yall talking about that 1 parody episode, or the entire second half? i liked all of s3

MRBS

In the comics, Bane is actually canonically still strong as hell without Venom. Which is why they show him pretty much giving Batman work for their entire fight lol

Devin B

Plastic Man has the ability to shapeshift too but he has more limits than Metamorpho so he's not as powerful as him.

delete

this show is so good have been trying to tell people about it for years so excited to see these uploads

Revis

I’m talking about the 2nd half. Episode 14-26 (S3 was released into 2 parts while it was airing)

Omar Bautista

All I remember is clipshows and 1 turning point in the season, cant recall why it was bad specifically

AverageAnime

No release date confirmed AFAIK. Most recent update was in late April saying that 9 episodes are complete, 6 in post-production, and 11 being animated in Korea.

Beef Gristle Mill

On one hand I think it's weird that they're trying to ship Artemis and Will cause that's her sister's husband (or ex) and their kid, but then jade goes and does that stupid shit she did this episode and I'm just like😬.

YaBoyNetero

Metamorpho was the one who threw the stink bomb as he's able to molecularly shapeshift into any element.

Robert

Bruhhhhh it’s not that bad. Some of y’all be chatting just cause YOU ain’t like it

Corey Pearson

The first booya guy is actually voiced by the guy that did cyborg in Teen Titans if I'm not mistaken.

Charles Darcy

these are not random characters just cause you dont instantly recognize them lol. theyre all important

Buzzlitebeer

react to Doom Patrol please! i would love to see your reactions to it

Brandon Gibbs

Yes that WAS Katana who you saw in the movie Suicide Squad!

Dude559

if im not mistaken the voice actor that said the booyah is Cyborg's og actor

Yanpo

I remember disliking this version of Cyborg. I think it's because we already went through Superboy's explosive outbursts in season 1, and in season 3 we are already dealing with Geoforce's temper. So when Cyborg came on, instead of going with the charismatic version of Cyborg, or the stale stoic version of Victor, or even the dorky version of Victor, they went with Mr. Roid Rage. The Titans live action show also has one of those types, and I've slowly been losing my patience with DC's seemingly endless supply of Angry Young Man tropes.

Charles Darcy

Katana was one of the League members that left when Batman did, thats why she was with him on this mission

Charles Darcy

a more long winded answer would be that since the early 80s theres been multiple comic book runs called Batman and the Outsiders, with Katana and Metamorpho being some of the original members. which is where the title for this season comes from, Batman not only fracturing the League by leaving and becoming "outsiders" from the League but also with the team Nightwing has being outsiders from the League and the public. so this episode was almost a throwback to those old comics with Batman and the Outsiders

Lurkingposter

They ARE random because they are introduced with no backstory or context. Fans of the DC verse will get the reference but not normies. It's like watching Avengers Infinity War as your first MCU film.

Charles Darcy

massively different than infinity war, this was a covert op with three characters not a giant battle. theyre not gonna suddenly dip into katana and metamorpho backstory like come on, why would that be expected. its a cool callback for people who know and those whom dont get to see lesser known dc characters kick ass.

Dash

You guys should do the dc animated movies like Superman man of tomorrow or the justice league and Batman movies

Dash

I think they are slowly building his character and they had him go through the stage of grief to accept what he has become, by the end of the season we do see him and beast boy getting along and stuff so probably goofy cyborg would be next season. It’s a slow build up for bryon too because it’s the opposite of superboy, what would happen if he didn’t learn to channel his anger. I think that’s why geoforce was taken in by superboy.

Knightingale

Damn Sheera was so proud of that "and you dont wanna dont" joke askhasdhfakfgj

Christopher M

Roshi, the thing with the "booyah" seems to be that the guy who said it was Cyborg/Vic's old voice actor from the Teen Titans series from 2003.

mkFerg24

ya niggas said "oh shit... its STEEL!".. I was like "Oh shit.. its SHAQ!"

Dash

They always foreshadow characters and plots and it feels like nothing is there without reason. like the first episode of young justice season 1, Roy literally says he was born that way when GA says ready to see the inner sanctum. They literally made a joke about how he was born to infiltrate the league and how he was a clone. So I’m sure showing us Cisco and also all those meta teens that were saved from the orphanage are gonna play a big part in season 4

Ranginald Vagel

Metamorpho's basically Plastic Man + since he can become gas and liquid

Supa

I mean one is plastic and the other can change Molecular and Atomic structures thats like saying Superman is basically Wonder Woman + Lasers and Freeze breath

Jordan McKenney

I love the use of locations in this show. My hometown is actually Owings Mills. Shoutout to the DMV

R3APER

Also Vic's outfit this episode is very much like his Smallville suit.

Zion Noland

Khary payton not doing Cyborg’s voice is weird since he’s doing his father and the side characters around him 😂😂 he even did the Booyah thing
