If you haven't watched it you should watch the Slime Diaries. It's mostly fluff and filler, but does add to the lore and did drop very small hints about things that will happen in this season.

the red head dude in the intro was not our boy benny, it was demon lord guy. one of the oldest demon lords next to milim and ramiris. guy made a brief appearance near the end of the first half of season two when eren was telling the backstory of how milim became a demon lord and how rimuru could possibly revive everyone

They didn't address it in the episode, but with the ultimate skill Veldora a "soul corridor" has been established between Rimuru and Veldora. Which basically means that Rimuru is storing a backup of Veldora's soul at all times and can revive him whenever he wants. The skill also lets Rimuru summon Veldora or even turn into a storm dragon. As for Rimuru's power ranking, I'm pretty sure at this moment he's top twenty in the world but there are still several that are stronger than him. Though I've only read as far as the english light novels released by Yen Press, so take my estimate with a grain of salt.

the world of Slime is so vast, you may think Rimuru is like a god now but, we haven't been exposed to everything just yet. Theres LOTS of story left to be seen

It’s funny to see the changes they make from the book to the manga to the show. I personally don’t understand some of them as they don’t quite make sense to change it but they are relatively minor anyway so it’s not crucial either. I highly recommend reading the books tho!

I don't know about y'all but I think Rimuru is stupid for letting things with Myuran slide. Yeah, I get that she was being manipulated by Clayman that doesn't justify the fact that she got a bunch of people killed just to save herself. Can you imagine being one of those people who got killed and managed to come back to life only to find out that the person who is partially responsible for it is living peacefully like they didn't do anything wrong? That's just my opinion though.

to answer your question, the only thing stopping rimuru from taking over everything, is that rimuru doesnt want to. he just wants to live in peace and make friends. i mean BEFORE he became a demon lord, he killed 20000 people in like a minute. theres nothing except the demon lords that can stand in his way now if he really wanted to do it. I know milims OP, im just not sure if shes more op then veldora or not. and diablo is probably as strong as a demon lord now himself. apparently benimaru is rediculasly op also. I would like to add one thing. i think the most powerful demon lord might be the guy who summoned shizue . whatever his name is. you dont really hear much about him except rumors and stories. he use to be a hero i think the fairy demon lord girl was saying. i think he might be the overall most powerful one. like milim is straight power, but i think hes probably the leader of them all or at least the top one.
