Archer is a whole menace, also almost missed the end credit scene but we didnt! lmao

I just thought it had something to do with his origin, like he’s literally made of swords.

Harry

lmfaoaoao the end credit thing was so funny how it caught u off gaurd 😭

FDSW TV

Ohh snappp

auxag

For the record eps 18 and 25 also have post credit scenes.

Dilyn Howard

Hey roshi just a little heads up to how powerful Archer is the arrow he shoot at caster actually missed her she was just in the realm of the arrow when it miss, the arrow was that strong that that just being near it caused that much damage.

BZD

I can’t get enough of this! I just wish next Monday came faster.

BZD
>>64096160

Did he miss on purpose? Because he wanted to let her take care of Berserker? That would make sense. If it’s a spoiler to answer that, then don’t.

Yanpo

Obviously it isn't true, and Archer is being overtly pessimistic, but his argument is basically: "I kill you today, or they kill you tomorrow, but if I kill you today I can save everyone else tomorrow. Either way you're dead, but if you die by my hand you won't die in vain."

KimKaiRen

Goddammit i hate Shirou as the MC. Even Saber isn't as badass as she was in the prequel. Weak masters produce weak servants.

JsnSkg

"I wonder what she's ridin..." Lmfao, nice.

Dilyn Howard
>>64096768

Get off the hate train if you want to get a shirou emiya your ass likes than play the visual novel first than come back here or watch the god damn “ Oath under snow” movie to have a good idea on his whole character because you guys say that you hate him without realizing that they animator that did this didn’t do his character just because in the game is was mostly inner monologues in these situations. As you play the game you will understand shirou better.

Shiratoshi

Rin playing AFK arena games. Archer doing all the work while she’s idle

Devin B
>>64096160

I assume he did miss on purpose cause even after she fell down he chose not to kill her even though he could've, it sounds like he wants her to do most of the work for him in the long run.

Devin B

Even though the samurai is not the true Assassin he still to the place of Assassin so there can't be another assassin in the war.

Dilyn Howard
>>64097349

Your right he is assassin of this grail war and we have seen all the servents in the war now so if everyone is not doing the math than here it is “Spoliers for Yaboyroshi If you still haven’t figured it out yet” * the servant that attacked shirou and rin is the rider servant of the matou family.

Jose silva

Yo you guys should really do at least one more episode a week the wait for another 2 episodes a week are killing me.

Kyz Edwards

I’ve known about and followed the fate franchise for some years now, and even with all the servants I’ve seen and shows I’ve watched this Archer is still one of my favorite characters in the whole franchise, he’s so damn cool

Kalf97

I might be wrong but I don't think caster is straight up killing people. She said she did kill a few before she got the hang of it but she's basically just draining them dry and leaving them in a coma. still shitty but at least they aren't dead.

Dry Lyo

Shirou: "Just let go of me! I can take care of this myself! I don't need your help Archer" Shirou's head: "I've been saved but I just can't accept this. No, more than that I can't stand to be a burden on him. Archer should've been able to escape by now if he were by himself. But the exit is farther now that he came to save me. He must be an easy target for Caster, as she is above us." Shirou has a problem with being saved because of his own guilt towards being saved by Kiritsugu. He really sees himself as worthless and that no other person/servant should ever put themselves at risk for him because he doesn't deserve to live just like he didn't deserve to live when he got rescued by Kiritsugu. Basically survivor's guilt. Ufotable kinda fucked up showing this. A big theme of the series is Shirou's tendency for suicidal acts because of his lack of self-worth. This is a major point, especially in the movies. So it's important to understand how little Shirou cares about himself.

ElasticMemories

Even if Caster's killing people and Archer's letting her, those two are prioritizing the people they care about over random people. And Archer knows to leave the opponents he's confident about beating to after the opponents he's not confident about beating. He doesn't believe he could beat everyone one after the other, just like he doesn't think he could save everyone, so he's waiting to third-party Caster and Berserker's fight and kill off the wounded victor.

Dilyn Howard
>>64098178

Thank you finally someone that played the fucking game and gets his character, thank you for this so much because people clapping his character in the comments is starting to piss me off especially because he and archer are my favorite characters in this whole series

ElasticMemories
>>64097349

Well, we wouldn't have known enough at this point in the plot to have guessed this so I think it's good they were leaving that possibility open. But yeah, no 2nd Assassin class.

13
>>64097349

It's good to get it out of the way now so they dont get confused later on. I dont recall the show itself explaining why he's a "fake" assassin, which isnt really that important to the overall plot of ubw

Ris
>>64097686

He's my favorite too and I'm so happy that I got him for my very first summon in fgo

Devin B
>>64097349

Until they reveal Caster's ability I can't say much on why he's not the true Assassin cause that's pretty much the only explanation we get from UBW

Viela Guay
>>64098178

The biggest casualties of the adaptations will forever be the fact that literally most of the source material is internal monologue and thought processes which are all just cut out. Legit such an amazing character deconstructing and reconstructing the "I must save everyone" type of protagonist in almost every angle between the 3 arcs

Big Daddy Dre

That plot twist is gonna make their heads explode 😂😂

David

fun fact Archer actually missed that shot on purpose and the damage she took was because she was too close to it.

Thamor

Damn they learning to watch for the end credits...world is ending!!

Reign
>>64097349

laughs at how wrong the commentors are who've only watched UBW.

Reign
>>64097349

hes fake because Caster summoned him. There is another Assassin but its not relevant to this timeline. He's also considered "fake" because sasaki is not a real person in history so he's just a nameless swordsman who adopted the personality of sasaki based on legend which he himself mentions numerous times.

Reign
>>64098178

nice too bad the context is lost in the anime. The Adaptations to anime just boiled down to over the top action scenes and most of the actual story and character building was left to the side.

Reign
>>64096768

this mans gonna feel real stupid when he learns the major twist of this timeline lmfaoooooooo

Reign
>>64096160

We cant tell you why he missed without spoiling multiple routes and the big plot twist to this one. Look it up yourself if you want plenty of good YouTubers who explain it. Ill just say this isn't Archers first time in this rodeo.

Dune

Yo tsubame gaeshi is such a nasty move in any anime. Like the sound effects and everything in that scene was fantastic. Also I don't think the grail wars have official rules. It's literally just the church trying to keep it as fair and somewhat respectable as possible. So if one master and servant just wanted to kill people they could.

James Yoder

And I was so ready to clap in the comments :((

ApplePieOG

The unlimited budget works meme comes from the Fate/Apocrypha which has the most over the top fights in the series. Then the heaven's Feels movies came out and seeing Fate with movie budget really blew that shit out of the water. Edit. The Grand order show and movies are also really fucking cool and have animated fights that rival most anime movies in general, which is why I keep recommending them in the community tab :p

Omaha Sa'u

Oh I'm sooo hype just thinking about the rest of the show man can't wait for yall coz this journey will be a hell of a ride with this then the Heavens Feel movies nd the other Fates / Grand order and all HYPE AF!! 💯💯 you guys a my top two reactors alongside Adonis Xavier

錦源 劉
>>64108289

Its more that they have a responsibility to keep things under wraps. Zero Caster was basically giving zero fks about that and were drawing too much attention, even summoning a kaiju in town. This caster is more careful and not leaving a body count.

錦源 劉

Yo Roshi and crew stay away from the comments, too many salt blocks and people trying to sound like they know everything about this fictional universe. Love your reactions, hope you watch at your own time, making wrong guesses is part of the fun so dont worry about it.

DevilMayCarter

This episode is the beginning of why Shirou is one of my favorite anime "main" characters. He's just enough of a idiot to make you frustrated with him, but earnest enough to want to root for him and see his come up. In anime and real life, the world is a complicated place. Seems to me like Archer and Shirou have laid the foundation for some hard questions with no easy answers.

Zackary Keith Justice

Just gonna mention this since it was brought up about what kinds of people are summonable by the holy grail. They don't mention this in either Zero or Stay night, but during the 3rd grail war (right before zero) the einzberns summoned a servant that was set apart from the normal seven classes, called "avenger" who is angra mainu. They were weaker than a mage, but whenever they died, the holy grail was corrupted, making it possible to summon heroes AND villains as servants.

Kalf97
>>64097759

haha literally like a virus, if they kill their host they can't spread to more individuals.

ab

everyone: *arguing and writing thesis papers in comments* me: huh, Assassin really reminds me of James from Pokemon with longer hair

Dyno

I swear Ufotable is just downright insulting with its animation sometimes. lol The flexes they make are insane.

Max Murillo

Lupa: The one man I've ever heard think bone of my sword is a cool thing to say

Danny
>>64111714

nah it def came from here. apocrpha wasnt even made by ufotable if I rmber. the show is straight up called unlimited blade works.

Medusa
>>64111714

Apocrypha wasnt made by UFOTABLE. The meme came from the 2nd half of this season. Ufotable actually has only worked on 3 fate stories being Zero, UBW, and the Heaven’s Feel movies.

Crown Clown

I highly recommend you guys to check out the Heaven's feel movie trilogy of Fate Stay Night. An alternate ending to the series with even True Unlimited Budget. I personally liked that route more and you a bit more background on some characters that didn't get to shine in the show. Please upvote for them to see!!

Maxis Holst

The movies are on a while other level y’all should really consider watching them

Sun
>>64145917

They literally said they will in Fate zero.

Waka Flocka Flame

Can yall stop asking them to watch the movies. They are going to, Jesus Christ. Before suggesting something, you should check if they already planned to react to whatever anime you are suggesting. They already said that they will watch the HF movies in Fate Zero.

Oscar
>>64150453

How are people suppose to check though? Most people don't watch every second of every video so many haven't heard them say that they plan to watch the movies.

Kurumi
>>64150453

tbh its answered in the comment section every video of every show.. the same thing happended with SAO

s4ean
>>64150453

Jalen, that would require people to read... on the internet... something other than headlines.

Crown Clown
>>64145917

I don’t remember that it must have missed it. Thanks for letting me know.

Kurumi
>>64150453

i forgot people here only read the pointless arguments and not key information lmao

Asante Upshur-Benson

Archer finally said the line. I love it when he says it in the dub. Sounds raw af🔥

Jason
>>64150453

I want to know more if they will watch the Fate Kaleid Liner spin off series as i already knew they will watch the HF movies when they announced they would watch the Fate Series.

MitensuraTensho
>>64150453

I watched that all the way through they're definitely not watching Kaleid Liner series 🤣 okay fights but it's child *orn 🤢 Apocrypha would be a much better watch lmao

Max Murillo
>>64134348

It's fucking awful. It's some straight up 14 YO edge coming out of a grown man's mouth.

Faiz Khan
>>64150453

no way in hell are they gonna be watching something like Fate Kaleid Liner XDDDDDD that's straight Otaku bait spinoff made for no one else but the Japanese lmao

Bryn

When are you guys gonna finish reacting to To Your Eternity? :(

BZD
>>64150453

I’d love for them to watch the grail war of Miyuverse Shirou.

jb
>>64225936

is it worth to watch? :D im planning to watch it with them!

Jose Mena

at how often are they releasing the fate episodes?

NeoSpotLite
>>64134348

I agree with Benjamin. Suppose to be metaphoric, not literal. Poetic is the best way to describe the line.

Paulothy

I always thought the "bone" of his sword refers to the core of the blade thats put in when its being forged. It makes more sense when you think of it that way

Aziouss

She said herself that the death of the first people she drained was a mistake and that she refined the method to not kill anymore. She is actually not a bad spirit. She could have not wasted any time refining her method. She chose to do so. Maybe out of pride for her craft but she did it anyway. The way she talks mean is kinda adorable you understand it once you learn about her past.

chou sion

Archer being the goat as usual 🐐😫
