Just FYI it’s because recording schedule been a mess due to new baby. The castlevania drops were recorded about a week in advance the past couple times which is why they aren’t late. The shows that air same day in middle of the week can be troublesome but Roshi believes the schedule will be back to normal starting this week

They sort of underplay the dragon faithful guy, but they make it pretty clear in the manga that the main advantage Benimaru has over him is in Magicules. In the manga he basically said yeah you could kill me with that attack, but I could speed blitz you before you could pull it off.

One thing that I don't think they mentioned that you guys seem surprised at is that Alvis' main power is over status effects. So she could petrify/corrode/instant-kill pretty much anyone weaker than her.

So, they didn't explain Benimaru vs Middray properly. Beni has more magicules but Middray is better at hand to hand and physical stuff so a fight between the two is basically whoever manages to land an attack first wins. Middray admits in the LN that if Benimaru's stronger attacks hit him then Beni wins but he also states he's a lot faster than Beni so if Beni misses Middray wins or if Middray dashes at top speed before Beni's attack is even formed then he'd take him out. Kinda annoying the stuff they choose to remove cause the episode makes it seem like there's no way they're even close to an even match.

Clarification: Middray is a match for Milim as a sparing partner, meaning that Milim still wins but the fight isn't ended in one punch like most of her fights (and that's only in her restrained form, is she uses her dragon form like against Carrion she'd probably clap him easily).

to shed some light on how strong Benimaru is now, the power levels in Slime are as follows: --> Calamity: a threat that could destroy a big city or a government --> Disaster: a threat that could destroy a nation (all demon lords are automatically disaster rank, though their strength vary a lot. When Gazel first met Rimuru, he said that their whole country together with him would be considered a disaster rank) --> Catastrophe: a threat that could wipe out all of humanity (the only catastrophes we know are the 4 true dragons and Milim After recieving his gift, Benimaru became a disaster rank, on par with younger demon lords like Carrion. Charybdis was weakened so any demon lord (except maybe Clayman) could have beaten him. The only reason Middray was panicking was because his strength is more focused around physical combat then pure destruction, he didn't have anything like Benimaru's black flames which is a perfect fit for a regenerative enemy. Benimaru is strong for sure but against an older demon lord he'd get clapped. He might be disaster rank but there's a lot of breathing room in that group (technically Rimuru is also disaster rank).

Based on what I'm seeing it looks like they are saving the budget for the next few episodes. They did a trailer for the last few episodes and the animation looks like it will start popping off. Shouldn't be much longer until we get to the main budget course of this arc.

dawg relax on the translators theyre basically slave for crunchyroll, you know that they translate these with barely any time at all right? which is why they can never have the time to fact check and compare the script that was given to them by the studio and the raws from the LN/Manga. theyre quite literally just translating as fast as they can

It would require international coorperation to even give a chance for human race to survive. Benimaru would fall under Disaster Class...
