Kurumi

u know the writing is good when u start prefering to watch the villians over heroes

jesse almonte

Sad man's parade is my single favorite move in anime/manga Canonical Twice is on the same level of danger as AFO

Darren Banks

Lol this whole episode is lupa getting clapped 😂😂😂 I love to see it.

Oscar Barcelo

Ok so double is now broken, because he can now make infinite doubles of who ever he wants and they have all the powers as well. I’m surprised all for one didn’t take his quirk.

EDDIE_M8A

Twice didn’t actually level up twice can make up to two clones. He made one of shiggy then of himself, then that twice clone made Dabi and himself, then the third clone did compress.

Ant Moe

Roshi really be sitting there with the if you knew what I knew face LOL

Anonymous

Lupa’s face and his shirt at the end loool

MackeyMoose

@Roshi. I get what Sheera was saying at the end. Twice can only make two things at a time. But if he makes a clone of himself, the clone can also make two things and they dont have to be the same things.

I wouldn't say broken cause every clone he makes gets significantly weaker as he increases the number of clones

Ranginald Vagel

To be more specific, Twice didn't level up, he can still only make two things. But each copy can make two things, so make a Twice + anything else and each one can make one extra thing so he can make as many non-Twice objects or people as he wants.

Even though his quirk didn't level up Twice did level up on a personal level by getting over his trauma and now he's able to use his quirk more efficiently now

Nah none of them deserve to get clapped cause this adaption is Dogshit... In the Source material, everything that was going on with twice and the tower was well paneled and easy to follow/understand.. just A fucking bad season of television

The Truth
>>67330974

He clearly did level up, if you hadn’t notice the infinite amount of clones

JsnSkg

Lmfao how could not know he had a quirk? His dad had a quirk, as was previously mentioned (thought not what it was, just that he had one). Also, he's the leader of the MLA, why would the leader of MLA not have a quirk? Use common sense ffs. XD

Vincent S Deluca

Twice still has a 2 Thing Limit, but If he creates a Copy of Himself, that copy can create 2 things as well independent of the original, so if his doubles keep making doubles of himself or anyone else the Limit pretty much becomes obsolete

??? No one thought he didn't have a quirk dumbass lmao First time it's been shown though, wow, reactors having a reaction :0

Lupa had to have every little thing explained to him this episode. You been smoking some weed my guy? Sheeeesh.

BZD

The part where the politician said that if everyone one is a hero, then no one is a hero. That really reminds me of Syndrome from the Incredibles. And when everybody’s super, then... nobodies super.

L.C.

Lupa this entire episode- "Windows.exe has stopped working"

I Am Gojo

One of my favorite episodes of S5

Twice didn't level up in terms of his quirk.... He could always make other people and his clones can make them as well cause it is just another clone except a different person. Either way it is a clone. He has stated that as long as he knew the measurements he can make those people. He could always create doubles and his doubles can do so as well. The biggest thing people miss out on is that his quirk is really good but each one gets weaker and weaker and takes less to kill off. His first clone is immediately less fragile than he is and it continues. This upgrade wasn't a "power up" or "level up" with his quirk like it was with Toga. You could say he leveled up as a character but his entire level up is in the fact that he took off his limiters in his mind. He puts limits on himself due to his fears and past psychological trauma. Due to him sustaining damage he no longer had worries about him not being the real one. He also got pushed to the limits psychologically due to toga almost being killed in front of him by puppets that look exactly like him. He crossed that line where he let it all go and took of his limiters.

Have you tried rebooting him yet? If you look at him from the front, on the left side you can find a big button. Press it 5 times in a fast pace.

Abraham Workneh

This has already been said but Twice didn’t level up in the traditional sense. He always could do that but his trauma was holding him back. Also, that only clone one thing at a time only applies to one Twice. If he makes a clone, that clone can also create a different clone, thats why It took three different clones to make Shiggy, Dabi, and Compress in the elevator

Otter Mane

He was trying to duplicate the quirk erasing bullets the Yakuza used, not trigger

Jason Williams

They should probably give this ep a re-watch when they can. Lupa's brain was just checked out for some reason lol. Sheera couldn't quite keep up with the way Twice was using his power. Even Roshi, a manga reader, was off in trying to explain it. He missed that Twice's quirk was still working the same way it always has and his doubles were just making more copies of himself to then make copies of others. Also, I know there's no way they caught the full scope of that "Mother of Quirks" story with everything else being thrown on the screen at the same time. I've always found the tale of Destro's mother and the way the government reappropriated her words to be a fascinating piece of MHA lore.

no need to be so pressed… i get u care about bnha but why you gotta be so angry all the time

andrew ayala

Nothing wrong with the crew and thier attention span... it's this ratshit adaption of a Fantastic arc.. the way information is presented is clumsy

Skebaba
>>67340764

Yeah. Basically Twice can only clone 2, one w/ like 50/75% DUR, the second has like 25% or w/e have you instead of that, and he can't make more if the 2nd clone is destroyed, but he can make more if the 1st clone is destroyed. His clones also are limited to 2, hence why he can make 2 clones who make 1 clone each + 1 other person's clone. His Quirk would be fucking broken if he cloned exclusively ranged-type Quirk bois, since if it's a ranged type, durability doesn't rly matter, yea?

Phroug

These last two episodes have been kinda wacky for me. The info drops and animation have been dope, but the fact that everyone is just suddenly leveling up at the same time for the sake of plot is so stupid

Dude559

Villains kinda NEEDED to lvl up concidering how dogshit their abilities are compared to the good guys....but this feels a bit weirdly rushed

>>67363035

I can understand this more about Toga but it makes sense for Twice. His power didn't change, this is stuff he could do all along. It's just his mental trauma that kept him from doing so. And getting his arms broken was what gave the confirmation that he IS real and not a clone. So I think Twice's situation makes perfect sense, especially because he's not really leveling up. We've been shown in s3 and s4 what his quirk can do.

artisticSarcasm

Every "Twice" can create two clones. That's why when he was remaking the league, he made separate clones(faster cause he knows himself better) to make the others instead of just recreating two of them to attack. His drawback has always been that he was afraid to create more of himself, because he hadn't been sure he was the real one and the others would kill him-thus he was limited to simply two clones that weren't him, and couldn't double again. If he'd made other hims while still traumatized, they actually might've attacked him.

Alellion

In reference to what Sheera asked at the end: Maybe I have it wrong based on the subs (as an anime only), but I understood Twice's drawback as each body can only have 2 doubles out at the same time. That's how he was able to make all those clones just then, because the clones are making their own two clones, and that's it. Also - I don't know if ya'll realized but Giran and Re-Destro were the only people in that room lol. Twice is still with Toga. Literally that whole scene was Re-Destro talking to doubles.

Chef MellowD

“That could be a dishwasher”🤣 took me out

Chef MellowD

Twice is broken. His clones can move like and use the quirks of the people he knows the measurements of. Well enough at least to fool the leader of the MLA. They share a consciousness, so anywhere his clones are he knows what they know instantly. Like Giran said, he could topple a country. His limit would be his memory bank. If he could remember everyone’s measurements, he could make a copy of every person in a town, city, county, etc.
