Comments

jesse almonte

I really was wondering where they'd leave this season off, since it's pretty crazy post future revisit, but I'm pretty happy with how this adapted the manga

Jordan

Goodbye to these Saturdays mane😔

Sophie biasland x

If you end up reading the manga please post them as read throughs/reactions I would watch that shittt! The manga gets WILD

Iggy

i was so surprised the anime ended here but it's a great cliffhanger

Anonymous

omg yayy we finally got to see koko and inui animated, and this is how you know that the anime will take a darker route and the manga too is truly amazing

Joshua Burns

Alright that’s it y’all are banned from trying to guess characters anymore y’all keep clowning ya selves the whole episode 😂😂😂

Frederick

I feel like if Takemitchy keep going back to the past things are going to get even more crazy in the future.

J

Naoto is connected with takemitchy so the future doesn't change for him, he will become a cop regardless but now it's just why he doesn't have his number

chefboyarkey

Listen I love the show and I’ve read the manga, most of it at least. (Chapter 197 is what I’m on) So I can say this without remorse, takemitchi one of the least aware people on earth man. Do not give this man any credit for this season, besides going back to the past and just being in the way he has done NOTHING. Sure he’s inspired people with his attitude, but in terms of PHYSICALLY doing something tangible he’s done so little. Sure it’ll be get better later on but I can’t blame anyone who doesn’t like takemitchi at this point. He’s so naive, anything that happens he just accepts at face value… he’s incapable of any analytical thought

DeAndre Woodruff

I'm so happy they ended this the way I thought they would. That's one hell of a cliffhanger. I'm so excited for the future.

returntolife

i'm mad that baji with his last breath told them kisaki is the enemy and they never told mikey or draken or anyone else in the gang.

Peach
>>68116309

Takemichi literally told Mikey that episodes earlier, Mikey knows

JayzWrld

Sheera really pushing for that deleted number theory, Takemitchi never meets up with Naoto in that future, thus why he doesn’t have the number in his phone.

John Nesbitt

I feel your pain on this one. Talk no jutsu ain't working so its time to get the strap.

Silver
>>68116349

Yeah. It happened before when he went back and met Akkun at the hair salon in ep 11 or 12. He didn't have Naoto's number then either. Which is why when he got a call from him, he was like "whose number is this?"

Wrëck

I really hope they don’t take forever it’ll kill the hype

Silver

Roshi: this is the worst timeline Me: 👀

kevin (btw i'm a girl)

Please don’t read the manga I want to see a blind reaction to this anime when it comes back. I haven’t read the manga and won’t so I don’t know what’s going to happen.

Lola

1-What if all that happened actually happened because Takemitchy caused it all, ''it's bond to happen'' kind of time travel like in Harry Potter 2-WAIT I have another theory: Kisaki real goal is not Mikckey but Takemitchy and that's why he was trying to kill him because he knew he would go to the past.

Lola

At this point Mickey is the biggest clown because the man is doing everything he shouldn't lmao

Mina Sasano

I love how they never questioned where kazutora was. Because he wouldn't been released.

wassa

when is takemitchy gonna stop being suprised when the future is different??? bro goes back in time to change the future, succeeds, goes to the future, and goes WHAT IS HAPPENING WHY ARE THINGS DIFFERENT????

Alex cleveland

NGL, one of yalls best reactions I've seen in awhile!! Holy shit yalls reaction was worth every second 🙏🏽🔥🔥😈. Cant wait for S2!🔥

Kenisha & Kim

They might go the re zero route and make tachemitchy go back in time by dying and it will be like where he woke up which is the rental place as his checkpoint and I feel like we got kisakis character wrong in a way I feel like he knows tachemitchy in a way maybe a future tachemitchy probably going back in time telling kisaki wht to do idk I feel like his character isn’t wht is being shown lol or am I reaching

Kenisha & Kim
>>68116590

Yooo I was legit saying tht like I feel like the real villain is future tachemitchy idk some fuck shit is happening like he is the only one that goes back in time lol he probably told kisaki to do tht

Rosie

I don't understand why nobody from Toman was like we just beat these guys' asses why would they want to devote themselves to us after that? Like nobody's thinking that something shady's going on?

A1_MiLFshAkE

It's crazy how well this anime did without the best fighting animation. Just goes to show that if a story carries weight and is enjoyable people will flock to read/watch a series. Manga sales skyrocketed making it a top-seller this year, we're most def getting a S2.

Yolo Samurai
>>68117335

Maybe because they're kids, so they probably are more focused on increasing the size of their gang and feel like the new guys will just be submissive to them, so they wouldn't think about those big picture concepts.

Emman Reed

these comments got no clue LMAO

Mikal Adkins

Welp, time to go read the manga to figure out what the hell happens next.

Evan Jardin

All in all, I think they did a great job adapting the manga content wise, even if the animation was sub-par...all I can hope is that they up the budget for season 2. It really only gets better from here

ThePaleBlood
>>68117935

why are people crying about the animation??? i swear modern day anime fans are fucking pussies lol

TheRuudster

So the only manga I've ever read because I've wanted to know what happens after the anime was Naruto Shippudden and Attack on Titan... now Tokyo Revengers will be added to my prestigious list. Someone tell me what chapter should I pick up on for Tokyo Revengers?

jesse almonte

By the way, im pretty sure this leaves off on like chapter 73 So if someones tryna read, start on 74

dawn
>>68116910

damn he cant be shocked? lmao this dude was a top member ofc hes gonna be surprised yall be complaining bout the littlest shit

Devin B
>>68116528

I can't lie though it's really tempting to read just to see what happens after this but I'm hoping they don't take too long with season 2.

Settsu

Easy theory: Kisaki actually is in love with Takemitchy and is mad jealous of Chifuyu...

Thallon

Idk sheera, there would be no way Takemichi and chifuyu would know they were looking for the snitch prior to their arrival to the meeting. I think Roshi is right on that

Outcast107

I feel like its easy to say Takamitchi is a dumbass for not saying anything about Kisaki but lets be real. What the hell is he going to say? He can't say anything about the future. He'll just look crazy. He can't say Baji told him Kisaki is bad, because they'll probably retort, "Well, he helped Mikey at the Bloody Halloween battle!" or "Baji was talking nonsense due to blood lost" That and the last time he did something to Kisaki he almost got jumped by the other commanders. So he probably won't do that again. Since this time he is in the gang and that would probably have dire consequences. One last thing, I believe the deal was, Takamitchi brings back Baji before the fight happens. Since he didn't, that made the deal fell under. So Kisaki stays. Anyways, my theory is that Kisaki is a time traveler but he lost his powers after gaining what he wanted (To be in charge of Toman).

Trequan Williams

Yo okay first I wanna say I do have my issues with takimitchy he’s way to naive to be a gang member and a just to soft but idk what it is there’s something about his character that is interesting but I completely love this show like all the twist and turns and cliffhangers it’s a great story and I hope s2 comes soon man (btw I don’t read the manga so what I said at the top is based off the anime)

vork88

I think everyone just called Takamichi MY hero or something or he heard Akkun said it

Ariel Vega

Solely going off of just watching the anime. Seeing as chifuyu is takemitchy number 2. To me it was strange that chifuyu's last words would be to tell takemitchy what's happened in the last 12 years as if he wouldn't already know. My theory. At one point takemitchy trusted chifuyu enough to tell him about his powers. Which could mean that chifuyu most likely became the middle man between naoto and takemitchy. Which could be why takemitchy didn't have naoto's number. Also seeing as chifuyu did his best to make sure he took the blame as the judas and telling takemitchy that toman was still the same deep down even after the messed up stuff they've done. As well as calling takemitchy his partner was like a sign to me that maybe more was going on that he couldn't say before he died.

hector torres

As a whole nothing ever gets resolve no matter what they can't change what fate has in store

rickie woodson

i've been saying that since day one. just kill kisaki in the past, its not that deep

artisticSarcasm

I been sayin this shit. Kisaki a whole Negamitchi.

MerkLJackson

Naoto dont get the patch updates till takamitchy comes back to the present each time.

Drizma

Doesn't seem like you guys understood why he couldn't just tell Mikey Kisaki is behind it. It isn't too complicated; he has no proof. Thanks to the punch when Kisaki joined, all of Toman knows he doesn't like Kisaki, and Mikey knows he wants to get him out of the gang. The only proof he has is his word, the word of an enemy, and Chifumi's word, which while it is more reliable, isn't nearly enough to kick him out after the gang saw him "save" Mikey and triple their numbers. Mikey aready said he doesn't like Kisaki, but he's useful, which leads to the deal he made with Takemitchy, Something like "If you can prove you're more useful than him, I'll kick him out." He was told to prove this by bringing Baji back before the fight, which he didn't. There isn't any "technically", he just failed.

Drizma
>>68122376

Ah yes, then all he has to deal with is the revenge of Toman and possibly losing Hina for good

Juicetoos
>>68120923

I get this theory but the only thing is, once takemitchy goes back to the future I think he reverts back to his regular present(past) self which means he wouldn’t know he had that power.

KimKaiRen

Wtf there's no official announcement of season 2 at all. If they're serious, I'm rioting 😤😤 You can't end on a cliffhanger and not continue

Oliverson

Who's that pokemon ybr: ITS NOATO Announcer: it's Chifuyu! Ybr: FUUUUUUUU

Jae

I think draken is just fated to die and it sucks because he deserves to live in prosperity

Lulucho

Takemichi: wait wait, before I die, what other anime YaBoyRoshi uploads on Sundays? Kisaki: ...my hero 🔫💀

Anonymous

Remember last time Takemichi got back in the future it was Naoto who called him and he didn't recognize him at first so he didn't have his number at all. After all in this timeline they have no reason to meet.

Thamor
>>68126227

Naah, this is just our amoeba brained idiot takemitchy getting the bad ending every single time, as he has no clue what he is doing. If he would just focus on getting Kisaki removed from Toman he would save Draken at the same time.

María

WTF?????? I was expecting some crazy cliff hanger, but this was waaaaaay worse than I thought. My poor boy Chifuyu... I'm definitely jumping into the manga right now (I've also been already spoiled of another future death, so yeah, there's no way for me to wait for season 2 and go blindly into it now). Also, WHERE is Mikey??? Isn't it super shady how in every single future we haven't seen him yet? We've only seen that one photo of him when Hina first died. And then nothing. I feel like Kisaki definitely knows of Takemitchy's power, because he keeps messing with him whenever he comes back to the future (first killing Hina again, and now killing Chifuyu). Also, the "my hero" line, it's like his friend always calling him "crybaby hero". Something's going on here. And poor Draken just seems fated to die, he's one of my faves and he just can't catch a break... *sigh*

Thamor

You guys speculating him needing to find Naoto with a bullet through his brain...you all funny =)

kagamiluvr

as a manga reader i didn’t expect them to end the season here BUT it’s such a good cliffhanger 😭 i bet the manga gets a ton more readers now

razgrizraven
>>68133974

Someone called it, and I was thinking they were gonna do it. Then it happened. Can't wait for the X-mas arc.

matchaa

i ended up reading the manga since the bloody halloween thing and omg this ending is an insane cliffhanger

Jazko

Man Takemitchy and Subaru will be the best of friends I swear

Reign

its ok roshi you right but you gotta concede to the wife sometimes. In this timeline take literally never went to the train station and never met naoto. Why would he have his number lmao

Terp31
>>68120761

All his og friends call him their "crybaby hero" he definitely knew Kisaki sometime in his childhood or had some kind of friendship with him

Vincent S Deluca

They said Kisaki deeply Admires Mikey, and from this it seems he grew similar feelings toward Takemichi over the years. But if theres a traiter you do what ya gotta do even if you admired him

Devoid

Cool thing I peeped during the season, when Kisaki first passed by Takemitchi in the early episodes he had a shaved head, later when he is showed in toman his hairdo is very similar to takemitchi's hair.

Isaiah Rodgers

they made chifuyu look like naoto 16:19

Not Dual Wielding

The dumbest thing in tokyo revengers is that young Takamichi seems to actually do shit when he goes back to the future. Like young Takamichi wakes up and is like shit I blacked out for 2 weeks and now I'm 1st division captain, I'll just coast off that for the next 12 years. The reason Kisaki keeps coming out on top is cause he never stops scheming. When future Takamichi stops a scheme and checks on the future Kisaki just comes up with another one and young Takamichi doesn't do shit about it. Makes for great entertainment though lol
