The most wholesome episode yet!......until that ending lmao

Comments

Caleb Washington

Thor at the end was moving like he forgot to take the chicken out the freezer lol

KapZachlan

Thor was full Chad in this episode. Love all the looney tunes references too

DjinnBae

Worst episode by far 5/10 I really wanted a lot more from Thor

KevinFromNewYork

Wasn't feeling this episode at all. I definitely don't need all the episodes to be serious, but the humor just doesn't work for me.

Alloway

I think Ultron was originally supposed to download his mind into the Vision body. But instead, Tony downloaded Jarvis into the body creating the Vision we know. This one is probably just Ultron if he had succeeded in getting the body.

Davon Thomas

Most people don't like this episode because Captain Marvel was showcasing strength that rivaled Thor and clearly wasn't taking damage like he was. Hurt them seeing her be so dominant

Beef Gristle Mill

It's not the dominant thing for me, she can be as dominant as she wants. it's that marvel tries so hard to make Carol Danvers a cool character when she's not. But if you like her that's cool 👌

Jamil Hicks

The chick was she-hulk roshi and lupa

Coco

I agree with Beef, they tried to push her this past couple of years in comics and make her a leader, but she honestly just comes off as a dick to other characters in the comics.

Dexter Blessed

I'm not gonna lie, this episode made me like Captain Marvel. She's a lot more charming and personable than in her movie.

Jeremiah Wagner

Reading the description then seeing Thor walk away from the car I thought she was finna blow up. But what we got was much worse. I enjoyed this episode. It was hilarious

The Truth

She is a powerful character, her powers are cool, they’re making her what she is. How could a character with her powers not be cool in any regard? Makes no sense

None None

It's not a big deal. I remember The Good Avengers Cartoon had an episode where the characters were joking around about whether she could beat Thor in a fight, then at the end of the episode she ended up having to fight him and won. And everyone likes that cartoon. I think it's less people not like Captain Marvel beating Thor, and more that it's a character people don't like beating Thor. And from what I've heard, her movie incarnation is extremely hard to like (she seemed fine in this episode, though).

Devin B

Yeah how she was in her movie wasn't terrible but it wasn't anything great either but how she was in this episode was actually pretty good character/personality wise.

BZD

This is probably still when Thor needed his hammer to use his powers.

BZD

Captain Marvel is getting pretty boring. I’m really hating how she casually looks down on everyone. I really hope we don’t see a one sided take down if she is summoned by the Beeper in the next two episodes.

BZD

If you recall, that body was supposed to be Ultrons. Also, he probably made armor to look like himself because Vision’s body isn’t really intimidated. I really hope that Ultron doesn’t mess this up though. Also, wait! The infinity Gauntlet was on Asguard! They showed it early in the episode. With all the Infinity stones! Are they saying Ultron robbed Asgard while the party was taking place, and Heimdall did nothing to stop it?

Golden Pants

Its definitely framed like an episode of Malcolm in the Middle tbh. The "moms coming and we have to hide our mess", teenager shenanigans basically. I didn't hate it tbh.

Malcolm Washingon

Idk about most ppl, but for me the fight between Thor and Cap Marvel was ridiculous cuz she should wipe the floor with them. These characters are alternate versions of the movie characters, and in the movies Thor doesn't stand a chance in hell against Cap. Marvel. I get she had to hold back so I let that go. Real reason I didn't like this ep is cuz of how all eps b4 this one death and injury and ppl getting hurt was all real, and here Thor and his party ppl had to have accidentally killed mad ppl and the show plays it off. Barely even aknowledges it. It just felt like a complete and jarring switch in tone and direction from every other episode for a story that just wasn't that funny. It was just mid

Storm King

No he didn't steal the gauntlet. Remember in the 3rd Thor movie their sister was walking past it and said fake. Also Thanos had his gauntlet made by the dwarf guy. So I assume Ultron made his own.

Beef Gristle Mill

The Truth, I'm just going off everything I've seen comics-wise, they keep doing all this shit to try to make her cool and make people like her, like giving her Dr. Strange's powers or having her magically survive ghost riders penance stare, and it just doesn't work. A lot of people still don't like her character. I! don't necessarily "hate" her but I don't really care for her, I thought her live action movie was kinda bland except for when Fury or my boy Coulson🙏 was on screen, and when they played Come As You Are by Nirvana. And in the comics all the woke sjw agendas they try to push on her character still don't do it for me. BUT, as I said in my first comment, if you like her that's all good, I don't have a problem with people liking her🙌. And I agree with None None, even tho I don't like her she was a little better in this than any version I've seen so it's not all bad.

Remember, Ultron originally wanted Vision's body for himself

Aion

cap marvel is probably the only popular female character marvel has not done well and its mainly because they tried too hard to make her a symbol for "women power", a lot of people will accept blackwidow beating thor instead of captain marvel and that's simply because she's not a well written character...and i don't get what direction marvel is trying to go with thor cuz it seems like after ragnarok and infinity war he fully became the clown of the franchise, they basically just toy around with his character

David

i really wish Thor was as strong as his comic book self, war of the realms thor was somethin else man

Senpai

Does everyone of these have to end with: "BUT THEY WEREN'T *THE* MCU UNIVERSE, SO THEY'RE FUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED!"?

delete

These MCU conversations are so boring. Thor, Captain Marvel (Binary), and Hulk could fight each other all day and the winner of the battle is determined by the direction the wind is blowing. It probably goes to Thor because he has beaten Galactus but Hulk can certainly do it as Immortal Hulk and Carol as Binary is probably the weakest with only enough power to destroy stars and not a universe. MCU power scale is nothing and any critical analysis that hinges on it is like using a rain drop to discuss the ocean.

delete

Yeah that's the intention of What If. The comic universe 616 and the MCU 199999 along with our own the 1218 are the only "main" universes.

Senpai

@Delete: Guess someone didn't read my post. 😂 Like how do you see me asking: "Are these all supposed to be alternate universes?!" from that?

Galaxy

What character was rishi talking about, with the background images

ApplePieOG

That Ultron is basically Ultron if he got the end up in vision's body. Cause in Age of Ultron the avengers stole the body and Thor awoke Vision, but since he's not an avenger, he never got to do that. Ultron prob ended up in Visions body and with the Avengers missing a pivotal member of their group he beat them, somehow ended up with the stones and prob went back in time to do some fuck shit.

Dark Shogun

If this Ultron is from a different universe, which I'm guessing he is, the Infinity Stones shouldn't work since they ONLY work in the universe they are from. That's why in the Loki show there were a bunch of Infinity Stones in a desk drawer that did nothing. BTW, That guy that messed up the Statue of Liberty was Surtur. He is part of the Ragnarök event.

BZD

I just assumed that it was one of the changes brought about by the What if. I recalled there being a fake in Ragnarok but I couldn’t remember if it had fake stones too.

BZD

I do wonder how he got the soul stone though. Ultron doesn’t really love anyone. I guess he could have kidnapped a family and made one of them sacrifice one of the others.

Arc

Remember Vision is Ultron v2.0

Rize

Roshi and Lupa face at the end had me dying lmao the literal shock

Jannika

I don't think marvel is trying to make Cpt Marvel likeable, her key flaw is arrogance and that isn't something people sympathize with. On the other hand, she's the veteran hero (I know Thor is a thousand years old but his character acts like he's still growing up for his own movies.) I think the Cpt Marvel movie should have cut more comedic bits and embraced the serious character-movie, but regardless, she's exactly what she is in this episode, the responsible adult. PS: To anyone honestly criticizing her or her movie, I'm sorry that you don't get taken seriously sometimes, but it can genuinely be hard to tell the difference between you and concern-trolling from the people who decided how they felt without ever watching the movie.

Daniel Gonzalez

The main things for me I wanted to see Mar vell first the original maybe even pass the the torch to Carol and also I was annoyed that Marvel pitched it as we needed to see it before endgame when no we really didn't other than that the movie pretty basic not the worst but also not the best its just somewhere kinda in the middle

Ghost_Troupe

You don't really have to watch the movie if you saw the interviews or even read the comics. The very fact that they completely disregarded the actual Captain Marvel a.k.a Mar Vell was already a red flag. Then to turn Carol Danvers into such an arrogant, generic feminist archetype made it even worst. I imagine they'll do the same with America Chavez, Kamala Khan, Hawkeye, and the new Ironman. It's exactly like the comics at this point.

Blackhart

After the numbers 4 and 5 this was a nice change. And seeing Loki being like this was really co- oh, Ultron with a vibranium body...fuck.

Hobbes

I'm willing to forgive a lot of the writing mainly cause they filmed Infinity War and Endgame back to back meaning the first time she recorded anything was for Endgame. Then they went off to film her movie which would release pre Endgame, which fucks with how much you can do with a character. It's still on Marvel for introducing a character honestly for no tangible reason However, I think the main problem is that she is established and her only trait is she's big number. Scarlet Witch gets the pop-off in endgame vs Thanos, because she had multiple movies to earn that moment. Captain Marvel sole reason to be big number is to blow up Thanos' ship, so really no discernable reason. And I think that's the problem is that her status feels unearned, and maybe The Marvels will help and make her feel more involved and fleshed out

josh1414

elba's marvel contract is upppppp he aint comin back

Trequan Williams

I don’t really think they were that far apart in the movies she didn’t do anything that Thor couldn’t do imo until they made him that fat piece of garbage in endgame but infinite war Thor and her I see closer than what u think but that my opinion on that. Also I actually really liked this episode cuz all the other eps were so heavy about death and other things so this was a nice warming change of pace cuz they are probably going right back to ep4 type episodes again

SupremeCai

So we watchin Visions after this or what? <.<

PolarToni

Talentless Nana next please! They have super powers O_o

Isaac

Remember y'all, Vision's body was originally suppose to be Ultron's body, but JARVIS highjacked the process becoming the Vision we know. So this Ultron is from a universe where JARVIS didn't interfere.

Yanpo

Infinity Stones Ultravision

Yanpo

The character has a few problems. From the get go, before her movie ever came out, there was already a legion of people just wanting to hate her and because she's new, there aren't that many people that care about going up against that much intense hatred. Her second problem is that she came in very late into the MCU. I know the character is very old, but right now we're talking about the current pop culture environment, and in that she's very new. So she came in late into the first phase of the MCU. They do this because they want to prep her for the second phase. That way she doesn't just show up just out of the blue holding the torch, but that still happens, and it happens before everyone is ready to let go of the old guard cause their story is still going hard. So I think it would've been better to slowly build her up throughout the second phase, while letting some of the surviving heroes from the first phase hold the torch for a bit. They can still do that and I hope they are successful at doing that, but until she gathers a sufficient fanbase, the people that just instinctively hate her will likely dominate most conversations about her. She also has a third problem. She has the Superman problem. Like Superman, her very existence makes everyone around her practically pointless unless she holds back. So any team-up that involves her will inevitably make everyone else look useless unless they give her the stupid ball or some impossibly ridiculous task to get her out of the way so the other characters have a chance to shine. All three of those scenarios suck. Also, it's my understanding that the character has historically been an asshole and I think they were trying to be true to that characterization of her. Tony was an asshole and somehow managed to garner a huge fanbase despite all the fuckery he was up to. Alas, Robert Downey brought a charisma to the role that made it work.

Scott Riley Adrueno

What do you mean, this episode actually talked shit about Capt. Marvel. Telling her her ego got the best of her

Brandon Gibbs

This became another one of my favorite episodes cause unlike the most so far this one was pretty fun and hilarious. Showing the typical immaturity of a son throwing a party, falling in love with a girl and getting busted and punished by his mama! lol Most of it was good until that ending of ULTRON VISION or whatever that is!

Brandon Gibbs

Well I thought this one was fun and hilarious, unlike most of the previous ones so far.
