I feel no sympathy for bro lol cold world no blanket

Sad thing is that it’s only gotten worse. At times their reactions are barely watchable since Sheera is pointing out the obvious and repeating dialogue every other minute.

Jamaal Ellison

Where was a this selflessness he has for this Oldman, for his elderly mother?!

DannyA
>>78053226

Yeah...I love watching this group but they have a thing where they really shit on any character who's selfless or generous. When someone's selflessness or trusting nature gets them hurt, they'll often say "well it's their own fault for doing XYZ" and that's always struck me as a strange thing to berate someone for. Like...yeah the nature of selflessness means putting yourself in a position where you might get hurt for the benefit of others, or you might get hurt because you dared to trust people. That's why being a good person is hard.

Travis James

lol sheera chill. they cant hear you through the tv

Malik
>>69606557

I think there are some people in this world that will always choose to see the worst in others and there are some people in this world that will always choose to see the best in others. Ali was the latter and it sadly got him clapped. He acted on emotion rather than logic. Fuck Sang-Woo.

Justice
>>78053226

I get you and agree with basically everything you said but also, I don't think truly selfless people exist. Everything anyone does in like is the selfish desire to be happy, satisfied. And or fulfilled. And any selfless action is because that person gets happiness and satisfaction out of doing that thing and it happens to also be an action that helps someone else so it's still technically selfish. Even people that just enjoy helping others and in turn help others just do it because it makes them as people happy.

Isaiah Cox

LMAO same Roshi that nigga was dumb as hell dude got conned twice

wavyesper

Where tf is this coming from😭 thought this wouldn't drop til next tuesday😈🙏🏽

fwooju

You the GOAT Roshi

Isaiah Cox

also thanks for all the hard work in getting these uploads up for us Roshi much appreciated.

Rachel

The cop can’t turn off the sound clicker of the camera off because in South Korea all phones are designed to have the sound when a picture is taken because there are a lot of creeps that would take an opportunity to take a picture of a woman’s under skirt

Cloud

YHAHAHAHAHA THE COBRA KAI ROSHIIIIIII

Andre

Lupa: Roshi you a piece of schit too LMAO, dead

Andre

Roshi lowkey wanted to go back on his stance that old man was a mastermind, but he was too invested in his belief so he double-downed throughout the episode – until the end he slowly said to himself - damn the old guy was innocent...

Highlighter

you guys are funny as helll

Ginzo

Give Ali a break. It's been shown since episode one that dude is a kind soul. He saved MC in Red Light, Green Light for no reason. Sang-Woo has been helping Ali avoid death in the previous games and has built a bond with him. It's only natural that Ali would trust Sang-Woo since he's trusted him with his life before.

Andre

Roshi convincing himself Il Nam (old guy) is the villain so he doesn't cry lol

stepfan

the PAIN is REAL!

Sera

I loved Ali. He was my favorite.. but he was too naive. This is a game of life and death

Salsazilla

She said "I'll make sure you win"

Killjoy

Bruh i'm dead, me and roshi made that "lost his marbles" joke at the same time

Fabi

Idk why the girls death hit me so hard. Fuck man I didn't want to cry.. and Ali was such a pure guy

Emill

The cobra kai mix up had me dead

Jed U

I don't know if y'all caught it since y'all were caught up with Ali being stupid (lol) but the pickpocket's partner came to the games straight from jail after killing her dad. Felt for even more knowing she came from a childhood of abuse, jail, and then straight into the games

Jed U

Also I hadn't really caught it until rewatching with y'all but they kind of establish Ali as being kinda dense/stupid throughout the show. In episode 2 he'd been working for the guy who crushed his hand for 6 months without getting paid and only resorted to violence after getting released from the games the first time. And in this episode he literally didn't know the difference between odds and evens. He's literally big heart no brains which is sad, but like y'all, his poor judgement makes it sting a lot less for me

beth
>>68972333

i thought the odds/evens thing was just a language barrier, because he also asked what other words in korean meant prior to this. also to be fair, he was being exploited as an immigrant, which is a common issue - but i do admit that he's gullible

Sera

Wait, why didn't the partners just switch marbles? The rules never said you had to have ALL twenty, it just said that you had to have your partner's marble. Sangwoo just could've taken Ali's marbles and Ali could've had Sangwoo's.. Would that have been allowed? 🤔

Davon Thomas
>>68972937

You had to have collected all the marbles the game was made to eliminate half of the contestants. It was basically like a gambling like game

Kendall Gresham

Now what if Roshi is right and the old man is still alive? How are Sheera and Lupa gonna survive that L? Lmao

Gabby Boakye-yiadom
>>68972333

I didn't think the even or odd was him being stupid. I assumed it was the language barrier issue since Ali was shown to seemingly not be very fluent/coherent in the language.

Kendall Gresham

Also I hate Sang-Woo but I also hate that Ali was so fucking stupid to put all his trust in him like that?

Kendall Gresham
>>68968798

Sang-Woo didn’t build a bond with Ali at all. He knew he was gullible and took full advantage.

Riku

saebyeok & jiyeong deserved to win the game and leave together they were soulmates idc that death got me bad

Ranginald Vagel

Aliiiii wtf you doin I can’t even sympathize you got a wife and kid and you gonna trust this guy? Being nice doesn’t mean you stop thinking 😔

Ginzo
>>68968798

I didn't say Sang-Woo built a bond with Ali. It was the other way around. Ali believed he had built a bond with Sang-Woo. Edit: Reread my first comment and you are right. I guess my statement could be interpreted as saying Sang-Woo built a bond with Ali, but that isn't what I meant. Sorry about that.

L.C.

There is a difference between being stupid and being gullible. He is too nice to a fault. That is what got him killed. Iida lookin bitch ass was just very smart and used his kindness and gullible nature against him. He isn't stupid sheera. Chill tf out.

Thamor

Ali "Donkey of the Day" :D, but damn that was stupid.

Javi

"He's so selfless" LMAOO

Andre
>>68972333

You sound pretty dumb given what you typed. The show showed Ali wasn't 100% fluent in Korean several times – he's an immigrant you're not stupid because you haven't mastered another language entirely. Secondly he was obviously being exploited by his previous employer – as an immigrant he probably did not have many courses for justice other than believing the boss would eventually pay him.

Andre

Ali was the literal definition of NAIVE. He put his trust in Sang Woo time and time again (tug of war and surviving nights), and it paid off until this game. Given he could never do what Sang Woo did to him he naively belived Sang Woo could never double-cross him like that.

Andre

What I enjoyed about this episode was that it showed the best of humanity (Girl sacrificing herself for Sang-Byok) and the worst of humanity (Sang-Woo backstabbing Ali).

Jed U
>>68972333

Jeez I meant no offense lol. I thought it was a language thing at first, but maybe I'm just reaching to find logic in his choices there at the end.

Jed U
>>68972333

Yeah I thought that could've been the case and makes sense. I guess I'm just reaching to explain his gullible choice there at the end

Salsazilla

I think what happened to Ali is sad, but he has a young child.. He shouldn't have bet on Sangwoo at this time. Smh

Javi

Sang Woo did what he had to do lmaoo, everyone there is a "piece of crap"

aSackOfReactions
>>68975374

BRO the whole time i was watching the show i was thinking Sang woo would make a good iida lmao

Randall

Ole buddy should’ve known something was up with Sang-Woo when he took his shirt off. Like my nigga why are you getting naked?!! Lmao

Salsazilla

I also believed they didn't show the old man being shot out of mercy for the viewer. Of course not though. Not in this show.

Devin B
>>68974195

He really put his "friendship" with Sang-Woo over his wife and one year old. I get that he isn't selfish enough to put his needs over others but if he was literally forced to choose he should've just went with the safer bet and win.

Devin B

Tell me why I kept thinking that maybe the old man was trying to run out the clock because he had a way for both of them to win. He really just wanted to spend as much time as possible with Gi-hun till the end.

envy

nooo. 😞Ali's not stupid, he's just really naïve. Sangwoo took advantage of his kindness.

Pulp

sheera: ''shouldn't have picked eachother!!'' MOFO WHAT SHEERA

Niuwah

I understand why everyone is pissed at Ali, but we knew his character from the beginning. He always seemed dense, and not because of the language barrier, but because he listens to everything that they tell him. He got waaay too attached to Sangwoo. This show purposely showed that their relationship was progressing as an excuse for Ali to trust him entirely

baja
>>68975786

He is naive. From going to korea with his wife to make money, to working for somebody for 6 months without pay and alligning with people in this game without question.

earthphoenix7068

Damn she left North Korea to find the horrors of capitalism. Tough.

Runner Up
>>68968798

Yeah, I think everyone knows that it was dumb of him to be so trusting, but he was just too nice for those games. There were cunning people and unfortunately it doesn't favor people like him. The irony is if we had a world full of people like him we would probably be in a better place.

CuteAdorableDog

roshi pulled a lupa getting clapped bringing up a different show

hokeypokey

Roshi talkin about the old man still being alive cause they didn't show him die but what about Ali? Makes ya think.

Psi47

What Ali did was foolish, there's no denying that. But you can't forget that the man has no education and is easily the most innocent minded person in the entire game. He's overtly gracious and proper, doesn't completely know the Korean language, and doesn't even know what odd and even numbers are. Sang Woo essentially manipulated a child at heart, which doesn't make Ali an idiot for his empathy, it makes him a fool for expecting others to be empathetic in such an environment.

Thilde

Jiyeong smiling right before she died still fucks me up

Thilde
>>68982471

bruh they show Ali's dead body right at the beginning of the next episode

hokeypokey
>>68982471

Yea, and I mentioned this here in the context of how they responded to this episode. Why bring up something up in the comments that hasn't happened by the end of this episode.

Rosie

Ali deserved better

wassa

sheera I don’t understand your logic. How is it guaranteed that he would’ve won had he chosen someone else as his partner? shit don’t make sense lol

hurryupmode

That whole conversation about a trip to Jeju Island was so sad. If she wins she gets like 40 mill, and all she wants is to visit Jeju Island with her family. That's like a $60 plane ticket from Seoul. That was so sad. Also fuck that screenwriter for making Ali die like a hurt puppy.

hurryupmode
>>68972333

Sangwoo didn't play an actual game to win the marbles. He turned it into a technical win. Ali wasn't stupid, he just couldn't believe that the only Korean in his stay in South Korea that was ever kind to him would do that to him. The past 5 episodes have been Sang-Woo helping Ali. The genius coming up with a way to turn it into 2v2 was a plausible idea, to have 2 winners from 4 people. The married couple could have played against them. That way the couple may have been able to die together or live together.

hurryupmode
>>68978385

Sangwoo said Ali should call him Hyung, or "older brother". In Korea, if you're a Hyung, you need to look after your Dongseng, or younger brothers and sisters. It's a Senpai - Kouhai relationship but you're responsible for the well being of your younger siblings of the heart. He truly preyed on the feelings of this immigrant. Ali just couldn't believe that the only Korean in his stay in South Korea that was ever kind to him would do that to him. The past 5 episodes have been Sang-Woo helping Ali. The genius from Seoul National University coming up with a way to turn it into 2v2 was a plausible idea, to have 2 winners from 4 people. The married couple could have played against them. That way the couple may have been able to die together or live together. Sangwoo should have at least had the courtesy to look Ali in the face when he died, but he's a coward. Dude couldn't even face his mom.

Narutofreak94

Ugh the old man and Ali had to have the most tear jerking deaths 😭

Narutofreak94

Sangwoo is shit for taking advantage of someone who has less knowledge of the culture compared to himself. Ali was just really pure hearted. The old man playing the ultimate long con and still being selfless 😭😭😭 Poor girl decided she had nothing to live for in comparison and wanted to ensure the other was able to see her future and maybe live vicariously through her. Y'all this episode was pain.

Tim Chaos

People gotta remember Ali was dealing with a huge language barrier too. That, plus being naive, made the dude bet on trust rather than his own instincts.

Tim Chaos

Man, this episode had me bawling. Old man with dementia stuff hits too close to home. I can understand wanting to hide from the feels with a “he’s a villain” theory 😂😢

Jigga Man

that cobra kai shit took me tf out lmaoooo im crying

H3ntaiconnoiss3ur

Anybody else wonder what happened with the married couple? Would've love to see that turmoil and strife in the episode.

Sheron Taylor

THE FEELS!! R.I.P to the OG GRANDPA

MoonChild88

Hugs for Lupa. I cried too bro dw. This episode was too much.

Bona Fide

I also felt no sympathy for him. I was like hurry up with it cause he’s dumb asf. No excuses for him.

Doughboy 1027

Dont need sympathy to acknowledge that Sangwoo is a bitch ass n*gga. "Who" would've did "what" differently in that same situation, doesn't change that. In this particular instance the dude with the snake tattoo acted with more honor...and that's not saying very much considering he would've just killed his partner if he could've. Plus, if this was about "fairness or equality" I'm not even sure how he was even allowed to do what he did. He made up a game, which he allowed to do, agreed to the terms but then proceeded to not even follow the rules of the "game" that he pulled out of his ass. I get it, its life or death and all that other "real world", cold hearted, edgel lord, tough guy exterior bullshit, but we can all still call it for what it is. Sangwoo's a bitch.

Mahmii
>>68972937

I had the same idea, and hopefully the translation isn't too off, cuz that is most likely a PLAUSIBLE loophole

Freeofgreed

Man, Roshi is so damn cynical lol.

Pocparks

did roshi forget that ali cant fully understand korean? mustve been lost in translation but ali speak very basic korean and doesnt know what the people around him are saying sometimes. the reason he got played wasnt because he was dumb he got played because sang woo took advantage of the language barrier to feed him bullshit lmao

david wu
>>68990451

sheera was saying to not team up with friends so there's a chance they both can survive

The Truth
>>68975374

You say there is a difference yet you don’t name the difference. He was stupid for giving up his marbles, stupid for being unaware of how the game works, and stupid for not noticing the difference in feeling between rocks and marbles.

The Truth
>>68982483

“Has no education” I’m pretty sure a fool isn’t the only thing someone without an education is called. And what’s the difference? You can be empathetic and smart, he had empathy and lacked mental awareness therefore dumb

Richard

Bro just don’t even say anything anymore please!

Jaime Ruiz

Okay, I paused. Is the old man going to collect Marbles from other teams?????????? I’m teary eyed, I don’t want this old nigga to die during a game. I want him to go peacefully.

Zaria Smile
>>69047828

I put spoiler alert as well as assumed that because of how long the shows been out and how many people have requested it to everyone has seen the episode. Also I didn’t comment this till Roshi posted the last episode so at this point there’s no point to be mad at me as you decided to read my comment

Tyler
>>69047828

Of course people are gonna be mad at you. You spoiled the show for no reason other than to felx that you have finished it and then gave a bullshit excuse when you got called out for it

Zaria Smile
>>69047828

Like I said I put a spoiler alert so that people can see and scroll past it they don’t want to read and again I also didn’t post until the final episode was posted on here, and I’m not a child so I’m not flexing anything just commenting as someone who watched the show and took note of something. Again sorry if it offended or spoiled it for you.

Andre
>>69047828

Makes more sense to post this in the final episode, people reading these comments are usually reading them after watching this specific episode.

Zaria Smile
>>69047828

Completely understandable and I take note and will delete my original comment . This is the better approach I would like from the community rather than name calling and getting upset like I said I just did it as someone watching the show with no malice towards anyone

Astor Lefflinker

Roshi on that Lilia (maid from Mushoku Tensei) levels of suspiciousness in this ep lol. And btw its true that Ali has bad Korean but I agree with Sheera and Roshi that he was being stupid, or at the very least, being very naive. I think that's it. He was super naive more than stupid. Specially as Sang-woo showed kindness to him a lot and acknowledged him, so it could be that in his heart he didnt want to believe that Sang-woo will do the scumbag shit on him.

Wallet

I think a lot of people forget that this game was ment to bring out the worst possible in you no matter how you see it, Ya Ali was very naive and it sucks seeing people like that and get betrayed but Sang did do what he had to do to survive because he even has someone he has to protect, Just like our MC we all know he's really not bad person but the game just bring's out the worst out of you to point you would become a scumbag the game wanted you to be that person that is why they pinned against each other. Sang-woo has been playing Ali after they got back in though he was never his friend he was just using him until the time came he got pinned against him.

Ji An
>>69087736

Yeah, that is true, we see that happen with Gi-hun when he ends up taking advantage of the old man's 'memory problems'. But don't forget Sang-woo was a piece of shit outside of the game too, his whole thing was that he scammed people he worked with (who worked under him?) and ended up losing that money along with his own money which put him in debt. So he was a piece of shit regardless.

Wallet
>>69087736

Yes he is a piece of shit in general but reason he is there is because of his mother, he could just go into hiding and never come out and leave his mother behind but he's not. What the series is doing with Sang is that there showing how much of a piece of shit he is but he also has bit of humanity inside of him. Compare that to I forget the guy name with tattoo on neck, he is just in it for the Greed and there is no redeeming qualities in him. Or like our MC at first he was only doing it for his Greed but now he's also in there because of his mother and this is how he starts to change as a person if he never actually went into this game he would of remained someone who really only cared about himself, ya he loves his mother and daughter but he's not taking action for the better of them like example, letting her go to USA he knows it would be the best for her and I can see by ending of this he will be happy she has a better life. But I'm sure you already know this. Even Sang him going into this game is him actually redeeming him as a person ya he's going to be a scumbag in it but he's doing it for the people he has to protect even getting your hands more dirty then ever. Before he was only doing it because of his debt now he's in it for his mother a redeeming quality. He tricked Ali and manipulated him for his own gain but that is something you honestly have to do is you are number 1 and everyone else is below that if you stop being number 1, you end up becoming Ali and the old Man, Dead and the thing you fight for is gone. Both Sang Our MC and that Girl are going to do whatever they can for the thing they fight to protect and yes Betraying each other in life or death scenario.

Cycl0n3

Cry more

Brad Harding

Man that actor who played player 1 deserves a fucking oscar i havent cried like that in a non anime series before that hit me in the deepest part of my soul... He played that part perfectly.

Judo

Sad ass ending then here comes roshi’s happy ass music at the end of the video 💀

Misato-San!

It's totally rational to not trust anybody in that room because the vast majority of them are scumbags. BUT was Ali a scumbag? Yeah he was a dumb ass for real this game but it only worked because Ali was somebody who wasn't really a scumbag, he got cheated and made a mistake in the heat of the moment. Though he should have remembered in the beginning when they showed a video of sang-woo and told he had debts from gambling on stocks and defrauding his company. He didn't know odd/even... he was probably not a dumb guy. Just uneducated and naive because of him circumstances. I def feel a little bad for him

Geo Rockmann
>>69041394

Bro you can twist it any way you want. Giving Sangwoo the bag of marbles and not even properly checking if there were actually marbles in his bag afterwards was just naive. Also it really didnt seem like Ali didnt understood him

Blackhart

Heartbreak, I'm f-ing crying

Albert Poole
>>69266506

yo we can see your comment before the video, thanks for spoiling it for eveyrone

davobands

Sheera at the end completely flip flopped on what she thought the old man was doing bro 💀

Alexa

Bro the old man is in and out of reality because of dementia. I can't believe ya'll thought he was acting, makes me sad

TheMidnightTrain

Ali isn't an idiot, he's too nice for his own good as they have shown this whole time. He saved a random man in the first game, always was overly grateful to kind acts, he absolutely trusted the dude that gave him bus fair and the Ramen and even let him borrow his phone. I'm sure everyone has met someone in their life that was far too nice that it was detrimental to them.

Jules Eris
>>69179341

I'm pretty sure he knew the concept of odd/even lol. He just didn't know what the korean words meant.

Jules Eris
>>69606557

Yup. Nice guys finish last is kind of a cliché saying but there's truth to it. Kind people like Ali will always be used by others.

Joshua
>>69164930

Seriously, my wife thought something was wrong with me how much I cried lol

sim
>>68975374

'the truth' doesnt know how to read, as much as ali had a language barrier stopping him from understanding most of the things that were being spoken

C-Bridge

YO ROSHI IS ON TIMING with the end conclusion

KB
>>69606557

idk, if you let your kindness become your weakness then you made a dumb move. Plus, Sang-woo's words were obviously manipulative as he constantly contradicted what he said minutes before. Him not seeing all those red flags in what made him stupid in that situation.

Dune

I think we all understand that these games are "do whatever you have to do to survive" but still. Ali may have let himself get played but that was just him believing in this guy who to him has no evil intentions. Hell even having a wife and kid at home he risked his life to save seong gi-hun in that first episode even thought it could've meant him possibly dying. Karma will get sang-woo though im sure. On a side note I will say ji-yeong's death hit harder than il-nam's death. Like as soon as she said she lost because she has nothing and you have something waiting for you I was like damn that's trash.

Daniel Robb

I dont think it's fair to call anyone evil or dumb (contestant wise) they all are being manipulated and taken advantage of. The Game Masters literally gave them PTSD first game, making them find people to ally with and make friendships, only to tear that away for sport.

Daniel Robb
>>69041394

Yah, you go through 4 rounds of near death, watching dozens of people getting murdered for no reason. I wonder how good your common sense would be in these situations? The game masters preyed on their emotions and the friendships they had to make to survive in there. Idk how you're putting the blame on any contestant here.

Zonbi
>>68979601

Lmao because real world capitalism is even comparable to the horrors of North Korea or this made up show. You're living better lives thanks to capitalism than 99.999% of all humans who ever existed.

godUsoland

Damn, I actually couldn't stop tearing up near the end

Scott Riley Adrueno

The show made the old man so suspicious that I can't feel any sadness even right up to when he was shot. I kept thinking he would pull one last bullshittery. Also, as fucked up as it sounds, Ali deserved that bullet in the head. He literally chose this asshole over his own wife and child.

Drake Rage
>>68990451

@david wu, yeah Sheera's "sheeragan" at work, AKA Hindsight 20/20.... It is very easy to look back and say what they should have done.. that does not mean you have awareness, or could have done any better in the actual situation.

Drake Rage

About the old man, player #1: Sheera: I told you! I said it! Me: Wtf, No Sheera... You literally never said it. Roshi did. I wonder why Sheera has this "NEED" to try to be right all the time. She acts like she knows all the plot twists on so many shows even when we all clearly see her on camera saying the opposite of what actually happens. Like relax and enjoy; Just show us that you understand the shows, no need to act like you have supernatural powers when we all can see you make a million wrong "predictions." I guess it is the fault of the kids who gassed her up about having "sheeragan" and now she tries to prove it by trying to predict everything and acting like she knew everything all along. Also, it felt bad seeing Sheera talk trash about Ali and calling him stupid so many times... That's where Lupa comes in clutch, the only one not trashing poor Ali. Ali was a kind soul, who knew better but could not bring himself to take the last marble from his friend who was groveling on the floor begging Ali not to do it.

Serg
>>69087736

That is not a redeeming quality, doing what he did for his mother does not excuse him killing two people and preying on the less fortunate. In the end he took the cowards way out.

Royal Lucario
>>78053226

100% agree my man, it's the most annoying part about watching any of their content the random call outs and need to be right from Sheera.

xXZephyrus2002Xx

First of all…y’all are hella messed up for calling Ali stupid…DID YALL FORGET HES NOT FROM THAT COUNTRY? also would y’all even blame him for putting his trust in woo..the guy who’s been nice to him this since the beginning till this episode? Woo took that as an advantage to manipulate him..the fact that he had no Idea as to what the rules are to the game so obviously Ali would take that into account..but I certainly don’t consider him “stupid” 🙄
