Lupasan is sad lmao I definitely gotta read this cause Superman wasnt as savage in this as yall made it out to be

Comments

nathaniel dixon

Why do all the animated movies have to do captain atom so dirty

Canime23
>>90735847

Or….Batman could just do it and fucking kill the joker….there’s a thought. Batman already is a vigilante and takes the law into his own hands so he may as well should have killed joker a long as time ago but his bs “no kill” code negates any logical action for it

Ariana
>>90735847

Went in one ear and put the other. You literally see an entire movie and series about what happens when a hero starts taking the law in his own hands and still think Batman should’ve killed him 💀 it isn’t his fault Gotham’s government is shit.

logan

Should of been a miniseries

Coco

Before even starting the reaction, I know why Lupasan is sad.

Shawn Nguyen

I knew that Lupa would be mad at this lol

Anonymous

Lmaooo I’ve been waiting for your reactions to the movie cuz it was kinda shit tbh

CuteAdorableDog

butchered this great story animation just as bad as it's story adaptation

James

Poor Lupa. We've all experienced the feeling of hyping up a story only for a shit adaptation to ruin everything

midothegreat

Watched this movie the other day, the comic is wayyyy better..

Senpai

At this point you should've just played the video game. 😂 Appreciate the video though!

?Kangaroo

They did flash so dirty I want a redo

J. J.
>>70982741

Just watch the cutscenes from the game, it's a 100 times better than this shit

Omar

I can't forgive this movie for killing Flash the way they did, and then no one else in the movie brings him up after the fact.

WolfEatZombies

Yeah this movie is a VERY sloppy adaptation. Now the roles have switched,Lupa being the veteran not liking the adaptation and Roshi & Sheera being the newbie who enjoyed it but needs to read the source material 😂

James

already knew this movie was gonna disappointing when black canary wasnt gonna be in it. Thanks for the reaction tho

Bolarinwa Olabimtan

When I heard the announcement for this movie, I new it was going to be a mess. The Injustice story is too complex to showcase in one movie.

Revstarallstar .

People will like this shit but not enjoy the dceu and how the hereos acted. I would very much like to see a gaming playthrough like you do Roshi of both Injustice1 & 2 to just get a great basis

Jolu

Usually DC animated movies are great but this one is really bad and felt meh compared to the comics. Such a wasted opportunity to make like 3 movies so it can a be a better adaptation.

Tyrese Marshall

Roshi has to stream the Arkham games now it’s a must

jesse almonte

They really dripped the ball with this. The games adapted this great, idk why they failed so hard

Knightly

Everytime I hear wonder woman all i hear is Korra lol. Varney did a good job voicing her

Necroflare
>>70984887

They tried turning what should have been a series into an 80 minute movie.

Mikhail

Hope Roshi will play Injustice 1 & 2 on stream. You will really like the game!

Darrius Dright

If you haven't already you should totally watch justice league WAR it's one of their best movies

kaizerlith
>>70984397

When I heard it was announced I thought it would just be the games story. Like after the universe colliding bit. When I heard it was going to do the comics I thought maybe it would be like Long Halloween where it would be 2 parts at least. I can't believe they sped so much up and fucking killed the damn Flash. One of the best characters in the comic and games in my opinion.

DevilMayCarter

Worst DCAU movie since Killing Joke...and that's saying something. Still, great reaction though!

logan

super man was way more of a savage in the comics and batman wasnt even mad after he killed joker it was the after effects that started to set him off

Jolu

The place where Mirror Master takes Supermans dad is really like a huge mirror since its a salt flat and when it rains the water stays on the surface and it becomes like a mirror. At night its actually really cool, just put Uyuni in google and you will see.

Frank

If you guys want video version of injustice react to or watch the complete story by comictorian

Antonio

Roshinjustice

Jake White

Yeah you definitely need to read the comics. Cause this is a decent movie for anyone unfamiliar with the story, but extremely underwhelming and lacking for anyone who’s read it already

Justin

They should have watched young justice dark apokolips war

DBG

now you see why there’s rules

DBG

fuck joker tho batman should kill him. or if anything Jason Todd

Brandon

I will be awesome if you do a playthrough of injustice I and 2

Ohais

Lupa's rant on this movie has fully made me want to read through the comics. Like to shove 5 years of content and character development into a 1-hour long movie is ridiculous. I need to see how Superman, a shining symbol of justice, spirals down properly to the vicious dictator, and not so rushed

J-or-Dan

I think the point people might be forgetting is that this movie isn't there to tell you everything about the injustice universe its just there to give you enough so that if it interest you you can go and read the comics or play the games if you've never heard of this before

nab

What a shit movie

von

This shit was trash they fucked up wit flash and tried to condense a 5 year war into and hour and sum change 🤦🏿‍♂️

James

Just finished watching and I'm so glad they cut out Year 3 when Constantine took the fight to Superman at least that will remain pure

Mikal Adkins

I hope they make Injustice into a show. They can separate the years into seasons. Season one can be Injustice year one, season two being year two and so on.

Zana

I watch this blind like few weeks ago. I did enjoy it like u guys said, did does feel like a lot is missing. It's a 8/10 for me. I would love this would be a tv show like young justice. It had so much potential. If the comic fan say it could been better. I hope it can get like a tv shows in the future

jeremy

I think they just didn't bother to think about the flash and just assumed that he died when joker nuked metropolis.

Beastywolf

To get this bad taste out of our mouth can you react to the Boys or Doom patrol?

Vsquad

Y’all should play the games on stream if you haven’t already.

Ohais
>>70988407

Bruh, you just mentioned my favourite character. How the hell could anyone ignore Constantine?

James
>>70988407

Like most writers I'm guessing they just don't know how to write magic users

earthphoenix7068

Missing White Woman Syndrome Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Victor

This should've been a trilogy at least!

The Master Here come the drums

I hate how the skipped the fight with trigun and how he basically destroyed magic the only that could probably beat him

JJ
>>70989092

I think they watched the Boys on their own time

Bradney

I would love to see Lupa and Roshi read and react to the comics

Paulson

red sun takes away his power, blue makes him stronger but will eventually kill him bc its too much power, ours well yk lol.

J

Well atleast batman got to keep his moral superiority, letting the joker live for no reason other than a flawed sense of morality. Atleast only a few...(million) people had to die for someone to actually do what is right.

John K

This is how I felt after watching those shitty animated Mortal Kombat movies

Devin B
>>70989092

Yeah I definitely heard them reference the Boys a couple of times but yeah they should check out Doom Patrol

Preston Bryant

This adaption is not the best in my opinion

Josiah

did roshi use to read manga or stream or something like that a while. well I think whenever he decides to read the comic he should also do it as a reaction type of thing because I don't know the full story either and I feel like it would be dope to see

Hinøkami

I’m still questioning why no one asked about Flash💀

soul

Convenient how they got rid of anyone who could give superman a run for his money, flash, shazam and other really strong heros. In most comics shazam is shown to be his equal or stronger while the flash could definitely give superman a hard time depending on the kind of flash.

JJ

BRUH roshi gotta get on them arkham games. That trilogy is elite

L.C.

I rock with the superman shit all the way. Batman really be fucking up a lot for someone so smart apparently. Imagine not taking out people that have murdered millions. Not killing off the terrible people and leaving it to others who have no better judgement to decide seems stupid to me. Of course I don't agree with how he spiraled but if things weren't so retarded to begin with it wouldn't be like that.

L.C.

Noobs to Jojo's are always excessively annoying. Gotta hear jojo references constantly and it is so overdone and old.

Weekly Flo
>>70995576

The issue with injustice is that it becomes Batman and Superman, mostly because superman has to be stopped and its not Batman vs Superman necessarily.

Bobby Robinson

This was trash and kinda good at the same time but also wtf DC

Fin brotherson

DC fucked this movie having people on supermans dictator ass side

Solivigant Kaiba

14:20 Should Lupa have them read about The Batman Who Laughs?

L.C.

Super unsatisfying ending even though some of the movie was cool

Wrëck

Is this injustice or invincible I can’t tell 😭

Yanpo

Don't know if the sale is still ongoing on the Playstation Store, but you can get the Injustice 2 Legendary Edition for something like 15 dollars. Just have to buy the base game and the Ultimate Pack upgrade. Both are/were on sale. The Legendary Edition, on its own, is at full price though.

Weekly Flo
>>70995106

FOR REAL!! No additional lanterns, nerfed him with that taking his ring BS, no shazam, no lex, no FLASH!!! They literally had to write him out so cheep. Super whack.

Weekly Flo
>>70988353

Bro, for real. Flash was crucial to this story and they just said NAH

delete

This movie was such a disappointment. But shout out to plastic man getting to be OP.

metronxtdoorr

a bad movie, but the reaction made up for it❗️ Love y’all ❤️

Alejandro Rodriguez

Y’all need to watch the DCAU movies to redeem DC animated movies

Yahroh

This movie was like a trailer for like 5 years of comics

KevinFromNewYork

I don't like this movie, but it's so weird that Lupa is every second going "Why did they do this different?" Has my man never watched a comic book movie???

Terrence Carter

"comic explains" does s complete read through of the entire arc

Kelvin

this whole movie is just roshi justice lmao

Benito Serrano

feel ya they kinda butchered this story. so much better in the comics

Spawn_tiger

Atleast they didn't show what they did to Shazam

joshua rosario

damn yo is it just me or Lupa just keep spoiling every moment like in the superman cave i thought it was chill and his like "oh nooo...the table" sane example at the joker Rave like "ooohhh noooo the table...its broken." sigh

Denickart
>>71002355

The only other time the changes have been this bad were in Killing Joke and Batman Hush.

Cleven Anthony

They shoulda did it in parts. There’s so much that happens between the start and Superman showing up. Damien wasn’t even suppose to still be robin and a Child by the end. Damn dc don’t mess up your animated films too 😩

Notnotblasian

Honestly I think they're making this a show which is why they rushed the movie.

MOB12

Seems like the DC animated movies have just been going downhill for a while now

Mad4Life

I wonder how many times Lupa is going to remind us that he reads the comics?

Cleven Anthony
>>71015275

& the problem with that is what ? This movie was horrendous lol can’t pack a 5 year war into one movie 😭

Oliverson

This should have just been a year one movie and just released then years seperatly then if people like it they could then do injustice 2

Legion

Should’ve been a 3hr movie and I wouldn’t even be mad about it. Just make it right.. see how the justice league snyder cut results were? damn..

Avery

A 5 part movie for each year or a 5 season show for each year would've been dope

Christina
>>71002355

it's a reaction video... if you don't like his genuine reaction, then DON'T WATCH. it's that simple

Geo Rockmann

Batman is a huge hypocrite. He puts supes in a prison while letting harley run free

Yanpo
>>70988281

If this was their intention, then my advice would have been to do the Video Game Injustice story instead. It's done from the perspective of the Justice League members that were brought over to the Injustice Universe. So it's the last 10 minutes of this movie, but properly fleshed out and makes you curious as to how things got this way in the first place.

Glen Sewell

I beg you guys watch the other dc Animated movies

Kevin Xiong

Please watch Under the Red Hood, if you haven't already!?

zach burns

They really just said screw the flash 😂

Stephen D

They really should have done what Batman the Long Halloween did and split it into two parts. Both movies were around an hour and 30 minutes. My point being splitting the movie into parts would have given them enough time to tell the story that needed to be told instead of resorting to a rushed plot.

Camzero1

I think they would like the Hush movie or The Killing Joke better

Giyuu
>>71040125

Both are fire but lupa probably seen them already

William Abbott
>>71041982

I know I'm just being pissy haha wasnt a big fan of the schedule instead of getting Cobrai kai

Youngmamba
>>71014456

Huh Really? This was the only bad one for me, the rest were all great

Tankakawade

I'll probably watch the 2 1/2 hour video by comicstorian on Injustice year 1-5 so I don't have to read...

Youngmamba

The other movies are 1000% better

ApplePieOG

People that haven't played the games or read the comics have no idea tame this was and how short it fell to the source. Still pretty cool tho.

Elijah Johnson

It would be dope to see you guys react to other animated dc movies, like flashpoint paradox. Also dope if lupa was on board as well 😁

JJ
>>71040104

Nah still not long enough. Injustice would only work as a series

rickie woodson

i only read the first "season" of injustice at the time it was released so a lot of this i dont remember/know but the beginning i will never forget. how lois died was totally different and i cant say it was better.....harley and arrow's buddy cop thing was on point...a lot of characters like black canary are missing. if this was done in a series of movies it could have worked but lupa is right, this could have been a whole series. well mini series. pushing everything into one 90 minute film just aint it. but NOT knowing all the changes i liked it for what it was

rickie woodson

rama: deadwing. lupa: deadman..................

rickie woodson

to know mr. terrific: read JSA comics or watch arrow. cool character. he is a legacy character, the original mister terrific was a white dude back in like the 40s and 50s. his wife in an alternate universe became miss terrific and they were on a team together with plas, phantom girl and metamorpho: the terrifics. dc's version of the fantastic four

Mozart Waddell

This movie was shit. Lupa from one comic book reader to another I'm sorry you had to go through that.

MetsuMonsta
>>71034522

Well it’s more of like the plastic man situation. Giving her a chance to change. Also this movie doesn’t do a good job at establishing the actual situation behind most the characters decisions. There’s way more to it than they showed. Trust me Bruce would’ve tossed her in jail in a heartbeat if he had the chance. And another thing is this is not the correct interpretation of the story either. This evil Superman does not give up at the end

MetsuMonsta
>>71007020

Well he’s just getting excited for moments when the movie is actually faithful to the comics. Like they changed so much it’s almost not the same story. Like the parts he “spoiled” were the things that showed how crazy Supes was or what was driving him to that level. But since a lot was changed nothing was really much of a spoiler

Nana

The actions scenes in this are incredible, the writing not so much……

C-Bridge

L wonder woman, she would never aid super-man's anger like that

Yanpo
>>71041982

I still say that they should've kept the movies to one per week while maintaining the original schedule.

Ghost_Troupe
>>71060611

Yes she would lol. Flashpoint shows that Wonder Woman is more than capable of being a savage.

Dark Shogun

I disagree about Batman getting The Atom killed. If it were just Superman and Wonder Woman, there is no way they could have gotten him out of Superman's head. There was no way for Batman to know that there would be someone that would have a gas that would disintegrate The Atom. Seriously though, why would Ra's Al Ghul even have such a gas?

Mad4Life
>>71015275

Of course the movie is horrible if you've read the source material and there's nothing wrong with pointing it out but it's kinda annoying hearing Lupa every 20 secs complain that they skipped certain scenes every chance he gets. Like Lupa get's annoyed when manga readers constantly complain about the My Villain Academia arc so you would think he'd try being chill during the reaction. Like at least complain/rant at the end of the reaction instead of spoiling everything for Roshi and Sheera.

Adrienne

Yo Roshi, did I hear that right? Youve never played the Rocksteady Arkham games? I saw you play Telltale games and assumed you played the og Arkham games

Joshua Weaver

You guys should react to the other animated dc movies if you haven’t already seen them

rickie woodson
>>71072912

agree. i recommend both wonder woman films. wonder woman 2009 is still the best wonder woman film.

Geo Rockmann
>>71034522

Bro she literally killed like 8 million people. This isnt like plastic man at all. And even in the comics she should have been put into prison.

Darrius Dright

I honestly think you guys should watch Justice League War, it’s one of the greatest dc movies and there are other great movies that follow up on it

ApplePieOG

Roshi could always play the Injustice games with Sheera! They're pretty good

shaheed patterson

You should watch the Dc animated universe starting with justice league war and all the ones following its soo good

CJ

Ryan Choi is the atom in injustice 2

Fireheart310

they said it good the joker was killed but let's all remember that's what he wants win or losing to him was if he could brake the heroes even though he died he still won.

Radeon500

You can probably find the Injustice cut scenes from the video games which made a way better movie.

Jamal Taylor

this movie only works if you have no prier knowledge of injustice

Isaac

Imma be real. This movie is trash. Then comic and injustice 2 are the experience. The end.

Greg Scott

they dint even add the super pills. the whole bases of the game was the super pills gave non powered heroes a chance against the powered ones, from the superman vs Alfred to the lantern core getting clapped this movie trash, i hate to say it

Unlucky Dreamer

The comic is better because I never really blamed Superman for what happened I blamed Wonder Woman and to an extent batman

Beni329

yall should react to justice league dark: apokolips war and flashpoint

BabyMcgrady

Really loving the movie reactions

ThatOneGuy

Damn Harley and Diana got me acting up

baja

im gonna be honest, i dont know shit about DC comics, but HOLY SHIT this was weird to watch, wtf was that. it felt like somebody hasd a gun pointed to their head and 10 minutes to give a summary of lord of the rings

RoxyMgreyray

i do have a question, have the three of you watch neon genesis evangelion? if not i do recomend watching it, i know it comes as a blasphemy to say but if you ever gonna jump on the evangelion ride, and as all the movies are done now, star for the rebuild of eva, as it would be more enjoyable that way. thanks for reading and keep on being awesome, ps: lupa is right, this movie was fast as fuck boyyyyy

Connor Grynol
>>71149184

You want them to just skip the entire universe? I suppose they might’ve seen them all though.

Connor Grynol
>>70988407

Well, DC magic seems particularly hard. As Batman said in JLU, “it seems to me that magic always has a price” however that price always seems relatively vague and the only consistency is that when humans try to learn magic, it never turns out well for them.

Anthony Coley

Shazam was voiced by sasuke but im hoping they do a part two because as soon as I saw the play time I knew a lot of good shit would be cut but I still enjoyed It.

Anthony Coley

Lupa: have u played the arkham games?

Anthony Coley

Roshi: "no" I think it's time to suit back up on stream Roshi-san

I-Jah Armstrong

so does anyone know where I can read the injustice comics online?

Arsean Wilbon

Crazy to see them morally rationalize the gravity of killing especially for Superman who already thinks the human race is beneath him. Batman was right “it always starts with one.” When you commit one it gets easier and then you lose control.

Ohais

If y'all are interested in the Injustice comics, y'all should check out the Kingdom Come Superman comics. It's like an alternate version of Injustice where the joker kills everyone in the daily planet and lois lane, but Superman does not cross the line of killing the joker, but another superhero does and Superman is against them. It came out in 1996 but it's an interesting opposite to the injustice line of events

Most Sane Oreimo Fan

Ngl, if this movie is just a standalone film without any connection to the game/comic itself, this one would be good. It really is a bad adaptation but it does not mean it is a bad film. It was decent as a standalone but it really is hard to compare with the original story with all the things they skipped. I mean, the whole Injustice is pretty hard to adapt so yeah, might be an animated series that would be their better option than a movie since this is pretty hard to adapt into one film. When I watched this, I was waiting for Supergirl to appear or Black Adam the whole second half but yeah. I would at least give this a 6/10. It is a decent film by itself but having its name associated with the game itself, that gives a lot of points taken out.

Daniel Williams

Pretty sure Batman's only job is catching bad guys, and it's not even really his job. Shouldn't you blame the government for not giving joker the lethal injection at that point?

Thomas_Stilinski

i just started the comics on its own this movie isnt so bad

Jahkir
>>71303055

No regular govt I feel can even kill joker if they had him

AmpLvX

If you wanna be honest shazaam has a pretty good chance against super man cuz his powers were given to him through magic and super man is weak against magic

Psi47
>>71402689

He's not weak to it, he's vulnerable to it. But you're correct because in nearly every era, whenever Captain Marvel/Shazam fights Superman, they're depicted as complete equals in all stats.

Psi47
>>71252446

There's multiple websites where you can read any comic you can think of online for free.

Precious

Yea they probably should have made a series because the way Superman just goes crazy so fast it's paced right, they should have slowly showed his madness, it seemed rushed, enjoyed it tho

Ravensmark Leather

I am so upset that we didn't get to see Alfred put hands on Clark

Psi47

Diana isn't the only one that can swap hands with Injustice Superman. Captain Atom was whooping Superman's ASS in the comics (because he's always been depicted as stronger or his equal). But Diana cut his skin/armored shell and Caused him to explode, killing in the process before Cap could body Supes. In fact, there were SO many instances where Injustice Superman could have been beaten by someone (Martian Manhunter, The Guardians, Captain Atom, etc.) But the writers conveniently wrote the story so Superman would narrowly escape or cheaply beat them just to get rid of that problem all together. Trust me, there's a LOT of characters that can subdue Superman in the Justice League. Hell, Superman can't even touch John Constantine in the New 52 comics (one of most OP mages in all of fiction) without dropping to his knees in agony from entering his protective ward lol

Zex

One thing I like about this movie is how they wrote plastic man. he's very underrated and I love him so much

Kevin

After this travesty of a movie today marks the beginning of my quest to get you guys to watch Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. I shall comment on every new video until the deed is done.

CJ Dennis

I would recommend y'all also watch Superman vs The Elite or the Justice Lords storyline from the Justice League animated series. Nevertheless, this film has a body count. They just overlooked the death of Flash, Jimmy Olsen, and Atom. The voice acting is fine but with some of them it does sound a bit like people doing impressions than actually performing. Although on first viewing I didn't hear Janet Varney as Wonder Women cause I didn't know it was her, but now that I know I can't help but hear Korra lol. On the other hand, Anika Noni Rose was great as Catwoman. Moreover, I'm always for a better written or more likable version of Damian, so that's a plus. Overall, the film is enjoyable though I agree about the ending. Also, I agree with Lupa that maybe this needs to be a show or a film series if there's a lot they unnecessarily cut out. Lastly, at 20:30 I couldn't help but quote Revenge of the Sith "So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause" lol.

CJ Dennis
>>71765697

Yeah he seems like a fun character we need to see him in more adaptations. 😅 😅

Amzee

A nice touch is that it's mentioned in passing from Damian that Batman has a contingency plan for EVERY justice league member (seen more in detail in the justice league doom movie). The ice bomb batman used against Amazo when he was using Plastic man's powers is exactly the plan batman has against the actual plastic man (use sub zero temperatures to stop him from manipulating his molecules).

Corey Leach

Does anyone else jus hear Korra when Wonder Woman talks? Gotta be the same voice actress cuz Korra is all i hear.

Julian Hurtado

Flash dying on some indiana jones shit was ridiculous. Atom dying was dumb as well, you're telling Ra's conveniently had that on hand for that specific moment? Plastic Man was the best part of this movie

The GoDKing 27

Does Batman not know what a death penalty is. If there was someone in today’s world that killed 11 million people he’d be put to death.

Anthony Saunders

Ugh God the complaints it's a stand alone movie it's gonna be different while still the same. Looka at every movie out none of them follow the comics be it gender, ethnicity or so on. Comic readers stick to comics I promise it won't hurt is much I learned my lesson reading a manga after the anime and see so much was left out. If your gonna watch something after reading expect disappointment and be happy if it holds true. But please don't ruin it.

rei
>>80892935

im pretty sure batman is fine with the death penalty because its issued by law not one man. he catches criminals and puts them away for the law to decide what to do, they just always fail

The GoDKing 27
>>80892935

If an escaped joker has been sentenced to death than I feel like any superhero that finds him can kill him

Davon Shine

Can you guys please react to Superman and Batman apocalypse it is the best dc animated film ever created in my opinion lol

Dude559

Flash dies and is immediately forgotten about....And then they just replace his chess scene with Mr Terrific....

Dude559

Also Plastic Man really should get more credit....The guy is one of the strongest JL members and nobody gives a shit. He is physically almost unbeatable even.

Baron Salt

No annoyance to you guys but I'm so sick of the bs idea that batman is responsible for ending Joker. Batman brings him in and turns him over to the legal system as he should. It's their fault the Joker continues to terrorize the world. If they would instead end him fir the countless authorities that he commits then this shit wouldn't have happened.

Omar Bautista
>>81087644

The problem aint the "Gender, ethnicity or so on" things like flash killed by a simple saw is what's frustrating. Crunching down a story that spans years to one afternoon isn't a good idea. Marvel did well with the infinity saga spanning 10 years and still made mistakes that were acceptable. Leave your LGBTQ bubble and learn what makes a good story
