It dries slower so it's easier to blend, doesn't necessarily blend better. Oil also darkens over time. I wouldn't say either is better, it's what you want out of it. As for how long it lasts, why not draw in sand then? Who cares how long it lasts? If someone wants to leave something behind that they felt inspired to make, why not?

I was confused for a second but you mean the third Avatar series about the one after Korra right? Yeah that'd be super dope. Some leaks about that came out recently? Avatar and the creators always have gone insane with their animation and choreography. It was insane 20 years ago and it got even better with Korra. They said Korra was the hardest thing they've ever done. It's been 10 years since then so I'm excited to see what they cook up, but I think it will be 2D animation not 3D like this.

Jayce wasn't wrong though. Snarf 2.0 was basically looking at everything in terms of his own lifespan. On top of that, the refute of "Who holds you accountable?" is 100% valid. He may have come across as aggressive, but he felt he had to put his foot down. His brother from another mother is dying, there's not much time. So yeah, Jayce did what he had to do.

Jinx literally has Borderline Personality Disorder. It's a pretty severe mental illness characterized mostly by an extreme fear of abandonment as well as things like losing touch with reality and severe dissociation. I know cause i've got it. Seeing such a visceral interpretation of it in media is both heartbreaking and also amazing. The representation is real. More proof of that is how Jinx "splits". Splitting in the context of BPD means when you grow so attached to someone and build them up in your head as this perfect person, then as soon as they let you down ONE TIME, they suddenly become the worst person in the world. She split on Vi when they were young and Vi left her and she said "She is NOT my sister". She then split on Slico in this episode. He was her favorite person, then as soon as she thought he lied to her he became the enemy. It's a constant cycle of idealization and devaluation. It's been said that people with BPD are like "Emotional third degree burn victims. They have no emotional skin." and you can see this displayed really well in how Jinx feels everything SUPER strongly. When she's sad, she isn't just sad she's DEVESTATED. When she's happy, she's super giddy. When she's angry, she's destructive. Like, she absolutely has BPD and that super traumatic event when she was young is what triggered it.

I also think the leader of the Firelights is Ekko. Reasons being that for starters we all saw in the first episodes that he was great at building gadgets, like he was literally listening on Vander and Benzo’s convo with the Enforcers. Second, HE was the one who witnessed what Shimmer does to people first, when he stumbled upon the massacre before breaking Vi out of where she was locked. And because of that I have no doubt that’s the same reason why he has his gang get rid of Shimmer and has Silco as his enemy, I would say Benzo was like a Father to him and this is his way of getting revenge and wanting The Lanes to return to what they were before falling into Silco’s control. And I really do hope that he is Ekko, because it definitely seemed like he recognized Vi and that’s why he took her

Well I dont know if it was the writer's intentions for her to be struggling with BPD, but as someone who deals with it myself i couldn't help but see the symptoms. If you're curious, you can look them up and find an example of pretty much all of them in Jinx's behavior in the show. You're definitely right about them doing a good job portraying her issues.

In episode 3 there is a brief moment they show how the shimmer is being made, and there seems to be a beating heart or some sort of organ that’s part of the process of making it. There's even a short cinametic video trailer for the game LoL, which kind of shows a bit more about what these "seeds" are. Yeah, I never really saw the scene that way but you could be right because she thought Vi was dead the entire time, then the voices in her head was acting up, then then she had to deal with Caitlyn showing up and realizing "Oh shit, she wasn't lying about that did I mess up again?" and then the rush of the battle was going on and she got cut. It may be very successful and even trend this season depending on the quality of it, but I really don’t see WoT being the next GoT. Regardless of the much heralded and beloved source material, PRIME is still one of the weaker streaming services and that’s going to play a factor in exposure. The Boys was great, but it could’ve been undoubtedly bigger on a platform like Netflix or HULU. Same with Vinland Saga’s initial run. That, plus the precedent for successful fantasy that GoT set in the television industry… wow. It has yet to be matched for a reason. Like, lightning in a bottle. So, I think (and hope) it’ll do well, but let’s not get too hyped for success.

I wanted them to watch it too. But the show is awful... Visual quality is low, writing is terrible, and they butchered the story so badly that it can hardly be called WoT. If you changed the names, I would never have even recognized it.

Yh idk what the hell was up with the visuals. There was some stuff they left out that I miss like Rand running from his home into the woods and the trolloc talking to him. The parents never argued with moraine about taking the kids. No speech from her too. Overall I still enjoyed watching it, I wouldn’t go as far as your saying. Hopefully the pacing and visuals are better.

I haven't seen anything more than the trailer, but it felt like in the trailer the villagers immediately appeared to identify her as Aes Sedai. I also felt that a WoT series might have been better as an animated show. Robert Jordan is always so detailed in his descriptions that a live action could never capture every detail. And then there are the wolf dreams, honestly everything that's done in Tel'aran'rhiod feels so surreal that it could only be pulled off in animation. I'll give the show the benefit of the doubt nut I'll remain cautiously optimistic. I already know that details will be cut, and story will be shortened so it's just best not to compare it to the source material. Even LotR skipped stuff but when you're not comparing the movies to the book, the trilogy is pretty great.

Except she thrived under silco, it was when vi was in charge thats when she was fucking up, because vi is a terrible judge of character/leader. Shes the one who decided to steal from the lab when the guy who ran the bar told her not to. Shes the one who said powder was ready when she wasnt. Shes the one who taught powder to ignore authority when you think you know better. Vi was bad influence and a bad person. Just because a show frames someone to be a protagonist, doesnt make them good. Doesnt mean silco is a hero or that jinx is good but in terms of his relationship to powder and what he was able to provide her, its obviously way better. It really wouldnt make ANY sense at all if vi/jinx make up. That ship sailed a long time ago.
