Turdle

I'm not going to lie this might be one of the only videos i have rewatched multiple times from you all Haha. Lupa screaming asking "IS HE DEAD!?" kills me every time and Roshi getting hyped up during the fight scene is funny af.

Drake Rage

When Orsted says "incantation-less magic, is that the power the Man-God gave you?" I had said in ep 1, I think it is Rudy's Scientific Knowledge is what enables him to do super-customized spells without having to say any incantations, since he knows the different elements/atoms and how chemistry works to cause chemical reactions to make complex magic spells that would be a lot stronger than what people living in this world could have come up with, since this world does not seem to have any real advancement in the Sciences. That's also prolly why he can't do healing without the incantation.. cause healing would literally be magic so he won't know the info to do the spell without an incantation.

シュモーク

Maybe but... I don't think so. I mean, he probably has knowledge of human biology as well, so those two situations are no different. They are equally as magical, summoning something from nothing. He should be able to mend or create cells, DNA, specific organs, etc. just fine with no incantations if that were the case. Most likely he is just talented, and his advanced intellect for such a young age let him figure it out earlier than most who have the same talent for magic. After all, he managed to teach Sylphie to do it as well, and she probably doesn't know what a hydrogen atom is. Though, obviously it does help him with interactions between different types of magic and the elements like you said. Like when he boiled his water magic with fire magic to make steam as a child, or heated the spike in this episode. I could be wrong and that's totally the reason he grasped it early. But it's very clear that it's not at all a requirement in order to do incantationless magic in general, nor does understanding what makes up the magic guarantee that you can do it without an incantation.

Mr. Glasses

bro I'm glad I'm not the only one coming back here to watch this again over and over. XD It's too good.

Joshua Hoerner

So my theory is that the man-god is the same person Rudy was within that cage—the monkey face man. The voices are similar. He was too chummy, and he just showed up and escaped from that prison cell too quickly.

Jake McGrevey

Nah he explicitly says in the LN that he cant do incantationless healing because he doesnt understand how exactly magic heals the wound. He also says that maybe if he was a surgeon in the past life he might be able to

HeyImV

Damn, this explains a lot. when you think about it, this actually makes sense. nice. may have to start reading the light novels

joe

i said the same thing! their voices sound the same, but then again what is his plan??

Whyyeezus

It's episodes like this you realize how much better the show could've been if the author just held back on making Rudy a weird, perverted, lil pedo fuck lol!

Mr. Glasses

Facts. I wanna show this scene to my friends to show them how dope the action is, but then they'll see the rest of the pervy shit and be like yo wtf. XD

Gabriel Souza

First, Rudeus isn't the same as the past life, literally two different people, that's what encarnation means, does not matter if he has his memories, another life, another world equals to another person. Second, i also dont like that part of the anime but is there, and the anime is amazing and way above average regardless, except this part everything else is well done. What i dont get is people that keeps bitching about this until today, either you ignore that and keep watching or drop the anime, keep complaining about it at this point makes no freaking sense.

Myst

yall in the comments and in the video still don't understand why rudy talked after seeing his mates shit himself even after the whole explanation the white dude gave him? The curses that made those 2 piss themselves don't work on rudy, that's literally just it.

Sting

Its hard to ignore man. Him having all his memories and constantly saying hes "older" than Paul... his father... does not help this argument. I love this show and dont ever complain about the pervy shit but it definitely takes me out of it.. to the point i wouldnt recommend this to my other friends who dont watch as much anime as i do but still watch a lot. Its hard to relate to a character like that is the biggest issue. I understand all the arguments like hes a 40 yo virgin and still a man child but that doesnt excuse the lengths he goes to all the time. Hes gradually gotten a lot better though. Excited to see season 2

Tibbers

nobody got your joke, thats crazy

Tibbers

I started thinking this too after the second time I've seen season 1 (haven't seen s 2 yet), especially since he had to explain to Sylphie his way of thinking when he creates spells out of the blue, everyone else in this world just says the words and the spell happens, that's why I also think that Sylphie is able to do incantation-less magic but just for simple stuff, like hot water or cold wind, on the healing magic I always thought that he lacked the knowledge on how a body heals in our times and so he had to say the incantations, seems to also be pretty much confirmed by Jake who read the LN up above. Also, if you guys remember Rudy said some about using cold air or hot air when he made it rain to save the beast people, confirming once again this theory

Tibbers

I can understand what some people feel when they see those scenes, to be honest I don't feel so traumatized when I see those scenes, but I'm sure I would be mad uncomfortable if it was a live action and not an anime, it's just drawings at the end of the day, I don't get all the hate against Rudy

Mr. Heyn

love how roshi is like " if its trash mt playlist is gonna get deletet" and just instantly eats his words 2 sec in to the ep

Bob Loblaw

In this case he also has magic and it's much more powerful than mine. So no lol

thatNEET_

I think Osted turned when Eris was casting Fireball because he knows about other timelines, and Eris doesn't learn magic in timelines where Rudeus wasn't born.

Johnny D. Wicked

what's the whole context of "trash plalist"? Was it a joke?

Neo Sardoma

Lupa and Sheera, its not that Rudeus couldn't read the room he knew something was wrong once the ruijerd and eris stopped moving. However Rudeus, is at the stage he needs info. Rudeus suspected they might know so he asked a question. Because remmeber Rudeus is going back to his hometown where everyone disappeared if Orsted knew about the Magical Disaster he could have found a clue for the next steps. If you look at further detail rudeus activated his foresight as soon as he walked closer so he was obviously wary. Orsted asked Rudeus about Man-God, and of course Rudeus asked because hes the only one that can see him so any info is good info. However him responding led to the massive defeat and almost death of everyone. Should he have kept quiet? As a viewer we knew the consequences before hand but Rudeus obviously didn't. Honestly this is my first time saying this is the worst take I've heard from yall. Don't be quick to blame Rudy. Honestly I would have been just like Rudy if I have a chance to learn information from someone I love I would take it everytime.

WackySwacky

There's a Laplace in Gundam Unicorn too. Really is a common name in anime.

Daniel Borrego

ok so the reason he said to eris she can call herself a warrior right now is because this is her 15th birthday and thats considered an adult in this world. shes also highly skilled of course, but thats the main reason.

Alkampus

I’m late but did you perchance go to school on one of those short buses? Kurumi?

aroha ?

LETS FUCKING GO

Sakib

let’s goooooo

Big Daddy Dre

Rudy stay getting niggas fucked up😂😂

L.C.

Ayyyy been waiting on this. Best episode of the fall season period. Orsted needs to pay for hurting eris the goddess! But anyways for real I knew this was coming and the studio blew this out of the water. Amazing.

Chad

Damn y’all fast ash.

Ben

hell yeaaaaa

Chad

I can’t wait to see lupa face when rudeus don’t shut the fuck up and get them folded. 😭

Retroactive Gamer

Siickk, Been waiting for this but I didn't expect it until tomorrow or Wednesday

Dezmond Broadway

Ayeee Im glad I waited. I usually just go to bed and watch it in the morning. This is my favorite

2026-10-24 11:00 Ah finally.....Lupa returns. The drought is over. No shade at Roshi/Sheera I've been enjoying those Dexter's and Toradora's
2021-12-07 04:35

関口信玄

Yeah cuz he's always mad quick to put tunnel-vision blame on a character for shit lol.

MrHuDat

agreed, they all bring their own flavor to the reactions. A reaction without Lupa loses a lot of hype because he makes the hype moments in a show mega hype

CuteAdorableDog

The world of mushing tensei opens up again with new rules and levels to this thing

Justin

Loving Lupa's new hairstyle

L.C.

This man said the rap god... bruh

zanderbander

Wait. Rudeus didn't fear or hate Orsted, and neither did that girl in the mask, Nanonashi. Since Rudeus is from another world, and Nanonashi is a Japanese sounding name, y'all think she's from his world or just another another world?

Matrim Hall

The thing is, Rudeus has been keeping quiet about the Man-God for the las year and a half since he'd seen him first. Hearing someone mention him out loud gave him hope of someone who might understand what he'd been through so far. He didn't feel the fear the other's felt simply because he's from another world (as far as I know.)

Seth-sama

Have to keep watching👀

Julius

I’m dead Roshi said “What rank is Eminem, the Rap God?”🤣🤣🤣

L.C.

Any mofo that got overhaul voice actor you gotta know is gonna be whole ass problems bro

Chad

Honestly this why I was on Paul side. Cause I felt like rudues don’t read the room and he’s selfish. Bro you saw the ox rather die than to be next to buddy why you making jokes in your head and talking wild. Bro stupid.

Gwoldy8

The soundtrack and animation and stuff was so intense that you could feel Orsted's presence. Also Rudy seeing himself getting killed like 3 times was insane.

Villenthessis

Eris: Pinch Me. Rudeus: You won't punch me even if I pinch you? Eris: I won't. *Rudeus proceeds to pinch her chest* Damn it, Rudeus. Why?

Oh Alone

Lupa's voice sounds weird. Is he sick?

Chad

If ruijerd would’ve die because of that I would’ve been sick ash.

Outcast107

"If this episode is trash, we are deleting Mushoku Tensei off of the playlist!" *First 30 seconds of the anime plays* *Eats a chip* you were saying? Also looking great Lupa!

Brady

Laplace was mentioned in E9 as the demon god who ruled over all demons and betrayed the superd, so you can watch that ep for a bit more info. Actually after this cour finishes I would recommend watching it all over again because a lot of people or concepts are mentioned offhand earlier in the series and brought up later in a more important context; Orsted showing up for 1 minute in E8 then absolutely destroying dead end in this ep being one of the more obvious examples.

Osiris Cage

Eris got recognized as warrior and then got duffed the next morning smh

Most Sane Oreimo Fan

To explain Laplace, yes they did mention his name on the first season the first time they saw the floating castle. TLDR, Laplace is the Demon God that gave Ruijerd their spears hence making them look like "evil" during the war between humans and demons. Won't explain further cause this is the only available info about Laplace in the anime for now. The rest are spoilers.

Matrim Hall

Another thing: Orsted was wary of Rudeus because of all the things Sheera said, but that's not why he killed him. He killed him because he believed Rudeus was on the Man-God's side. Seeing Eris beg for help moved Nanahoshi to request that Orsted heal Rudeus and let him live instead.

Fooni

WHERE THE HATERS AT!!!!!!!!! IMAGINE IF THEY WOULDA DROPPED IT WHEN PEOPLE TOLD THEM TO

nvrcist

you guys missed a line when fat rudy was talking to the man god about orsted, he says to the man god, "you know a lot about this guy, considering you can't see him", and bro was visibly shook so idk bout y'all but man god smellin 🐟🐟🎣🐠

Cephandrius

The attention to detail with the fireball going through the whole spectrum of color to get to the hottest visible fire was chefs kiss bruh

Mikal Adkins

Man, I was waiting for the encounter with Orsted and they did not disappoint with this episode.

godUsoland

"This episode better be some gas or we're deleting the whole playlist." Studio BIND: "Aight, Bet"

Ace S

facts

L.C.

Orsted did notice that something was up with Rudy not being afraid. The dude asked why rudy was looking at him in the eyes. Sheera trying to make conclusions about the last part based on anything she can make. I get wanting to predict and figure stuff out but she says things that make it more confusing than necessary at some points.

Erd'na

When i first saw the trailer for Mushoku and saw Orsted in the trailer. I knew this encounter will be animated. One of the reason why i like Mushoku Tensei so much is because Rudeus is not invincible. Rudeus is powerful with his chant less spellcasting, insane mana and demon eye. But he isn't invincible. I really hate that just because you came from a different world, suddenly you are invincible and OP.

Nathen T

You guys were too hard on rudy. to be fair would you be expecting to run into the dragon god on this random mountain, Rudy most likely thought it was a random guy at first that they could beat,

Marcel O

NON SPOILER bs from the novel - That tap he did to Rudy's stomach deadass collapsed his lungs and ribs and since rudy cant do voiceless healing he was fucked, and the moment he turned to Eris he thought he would kill her next which is why he started attacking. PS that purple fire was comparable to a nuke apparently

Lildreezy

One thing is the real reason orsted killed Rudy was because he thought he was an apostle of the man god and he hates the man god

Loren Perry

In Rudeus' defence him talking to Orsted is no different than when he talked to Ruijerd. Unaffected by the curse and curious, unfortunately it literally killed him that time.

22TheDon

I think Rudy not being able to read the room is one of his fatal flaws from his previous life and it’s consistent throughout the show, first seen with him and Sylphy when he thought she was a guy, and especially in second half with him reuniting with Paul them having a fight, and then this instance here. Then again in the light novel Rudy noticed Ruijerd and Eris was shaken up and he didn’t know why considering they have never done that before. Rudy didn’t think twice about answering Orsted’s question about the Man-god simply because he didn’t know if any one else knew the Man-god so when Orsted brought it up Rudy was eager to learn more about him. Orsted really doesn’t like the Man-god 😭😭😭

Yeet202

Btw Laplace was mentioned before. Actually I’m pretty sure multiple times in season 1.

Tabbs

In the light novel and manga Orsted apologizes to Eris for killing Rudy and tells her that she’ll understand later on why he had to do that and Eris is also amazed by Nanahoshi’s black hair because it’s so rare in their world

Gustavo Martínez

Just 40 seconds into it and already love this reaction

Asellian

mondays are my favorite day of the week

SalmonYu

Agreed, he's also Kaiba and Nanami. Very unique and iconic voice.

SHB

It was mentioned right after the fight when Rudy was with the Man-God, he is the guy that did the curse to Ruijerd and his people

ElasticMemories

JP authors seem to be fascinated by Laplace's demon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laplace%27s_demon which is supposed to be able to perfectly predict the future given it knows everything in the present (an omniscient god) so whenever they have an important male demon, they like naming him Laplace.

Erd'na

I wonder where are the haters of the show? A lot of people were shitting part 1. We told them not to worry.

Jeremiah Wagner

Bro if rujerd stop in his tracks and tell me to be quiet then I’m listening

L Jeans

Im here, Rudy still and pervert and a Pedo, so this never gets 5 stars from me. Tho I wont say its trash, the story telling and animation choreography is amazing work. Charters are something to be desired.

Ara Araragi

Do you know about that because you've studied causal determinism, or are you like me and only learned about it because of Bunny Girl Senpai?

Fooni

The haters silent. I remember ppl telling them to drop the show😂😂. Some youtubers dropped the show (which they have the right to). Now i just laugh😂

Erd'na

And we told you that what's makes him real. Just because you got reincarnated doesn't change personality immediately. And we've seen the changes in him, slowly has he is experiencing more of life. That's realistic and character development. Creating a story for a perfect being is boring. A flawed character tells a more compelling story.

iMovie stars

You can be imperfect without being a pedo 🤨

2026-10-24 11:00 YOOOO I think the Nanahoshi girl was one of the high schoolers he saved but "disappeared" after the truck incident. It would make sense if she was saying he might be another isekai person. It would also explain her obviously japanese name
2021-12-07 05:56

Erd'na

He isn't a pedo. Age is defined by the year you were born. Rudeus is a young person on the merits of age. And don't tell me he is an old person mentally. That would mean Aang in avatar is pedo as well for having a relationship with Katara. Because mentally he is much older than rudeus. Having reincarnated with multiple lives. (Funny how rudeus is reincarnated as well) Even we ignore that premise. Aang is well over 100 years old (remember age is define by year you were born). Naah, but Aang has body of a young boy. Exactly! Same way Rudeus body is a young boy. If you're gonna call rudeus a pedo then we have to call aang a pedo as well. Rudeus is perverted yes, pedo he isn't.

Malcolm Washingon

Orsted gotta have the most on-sight beef I ever heard of. Dis nigga Rudy mentioned he talked to man-god and b4 sentence even left mouth it was straight hands

HaruhiDream

Pervert? 100% Pedo? That's debatable. He's been fully reincarnated into a different person, not just simply isekai'd. Does his actions from his previous life affect his new one? Should they? It's really open for interpretation.

None None

There was this series in the very early 00s called "Kyo Kara Maoh" that basically every modern isekai is directly ripping off in some way (it's debatable if it's actually the first, but it's definitely the father of modern isekai). That "black hair is special in isekai land" cliche is probably the funniest thing it spawned. I still get a chuckle every time I see an isekai use it.

Jordan

Regardless if he knew he was the Dragon God or a random guy doesn’t matter. If you encounter a bear and your companions freeze in place, you do not approach the wild animal like an idiot and endanger everyone. He should have read the room and used commonsense.

VibezWorldwide

But he gotta learn to read the damn room. If Ruijerd of all people is absolutely shook of someone (curse or not), listen to what he has to say. But Rudy wanna run his mouth and that almost got him and his whole party killed. I won’t be surprised if Ruijerd were to cuss him out for what happened smh.

The LuGKK

laplace is the demon king i think, that roigerd serve before and gave him the spear

Mad4Life

If the strongest nigga on your squad is frozen in fear and tells you not to move and a ox would rather throw itself off a cliff than be near those random strangers, that should've been common sense to mind your effing business.

Nana

why do you care at this point the show is fire and it gets the attention it deserves.

None None

It was established back in the first episode that what his new body finds attractive doesn't necessarily line up with what his 40 year old mind finds attractive, since he finds his mother hot in theory but can't get aroused by her. If his new body is instinctively attracted to girls his own age, then there's not much he can really do about that.

Nana

In this situation nah he was dumb asf. Mad4life put it best.

Nana

This shit was so avoidable. Orsted raw ngl.

Mad4Life

Rudeus in his previous life literally installed hidden cameras in the bathroom just so he jack it to his niece when she was in the bathroom. Like Rudeus was clearly a pedo.

Ophelia Pane

It would be the same logic if Ruijerd walked in a room, everyone would have just stop and got scared even though he is a bear.

Tabbs

There was never any information about her after he saved her, and if anything Rudy had a whole new body and name

Smash Bran'Discootch

I dont really think this was a "read the room" situation. They were just terrified and had no idea why, nor did they give Rudy any reason why. All he could see is that Ruijerd told him to stay still, but there was no reason why he would have because those people just casually walked by without saying anything. Dude was curious and wanted to know what was up. How was he supposed to "read the room" with literally no information whatsoever?

Ophelia Pane

Paul was selfish also he didn't even notice his son is alive and well he should be thankful, the man wanted him to be bruised with an arm and leg cut off.

Bladedancer42

yeah, Laplace is the one who originally gave the spears, along with his passed down curse of fear, to the Superb. In which Rudeus happens to be on par with, in terms of mana. Shits nuts

Tabbs

Mushoku tensei was originally written in 2012 so I doubt they’re jumping the bandwagon with the whole “black hair is rare in this world” if that’s where you’re getting at

Smash Bran'Discootch

Exactly what was Rudy supposed to "read"? All he knew is two people casually walked by and Ruijerd told him and Eris to stay still. He didn't say "Stay still, these folks dangerous af". For all Rudy knew, that was just some sperd custom and these were people that Ruijerd was showing respect to. Ruijerd and Eris didn't even know why they were scared. They gave literally no information, so Rudy being curious asked what was up of these two people who CASUALLY walked by and made no threatening motions or body language whatsoever. So i ask you again, What exactly the fuck was rudy supposed to "read" in that room, hm?

Julian R

I really feel like the answer just slipped out when Orsted asked about the Man-God. That he didn't mean to say it.

Dune

Rudy literally only said yeah and he was already running up to throw hands. That's hilarious to me.

Dune

Bruh rudeous seeing his two friends scared stiff gotta be the dumbass to be like so hey what's your name and how do you know them? Like once that ox committed suicide I would've been like iight we gonna head out.

Dolos

Mad4Life That is not cannon in the anime or manga and was changed in the final version of the light novel

Peacefinder Simply

i think so too, I think it was 2 episodes ago Rudy said something about being careful who he tells about the Man-god.

Peacefinder Simply

Loved this episode, but that does bother me, hes isn't a genius but hes not stupid either and this was just plain stupid on another level. You don't even need brains to figure it out.

fili0938

I think Laplace was called the Demon God (which we later know to be one of the 7 Great Powers) in season 1 when Rudy was being read the story of the Demon War. I might be completely off base though.

KJ

Orsted pulled up with the Air Forces. And they werent white...

beelzebub

That whole encounter was so good

Lik-Sama

The Final Fantasy references from Roshi and Lupa be killing me 😂😂 great episode and reaction

Thamor

Rudy talking with Man-God was like Subaru talking to Witch of Greed..."Yeah, I don't want to learn anything" while us viewers screaming get some f:ing answers :D

Thamor

You are correct. Current Demon Lord is that small girl Rudy got the eye from.

Thamor

You would have no reaction to their cart animal screaming in fear of it's life and just running off the cliff? You would go "Oh well it happens" now let's just proceed to talk this guy that even my time warping eye can't follow.

TitanMachine

L Jeans - If Rudy still a pervert and pedo, why did he react the way he did to his sister's request to come with him, saying she would grow voluptuous?

Terp31

Rudy doesn't hear the literal boss music in the background with close ups of how terrified they are

Smash Bran'Discootch

My reaction would be, "Huh. That's fuckin weird. I wonder why the cow just did that. Maybe these people who CASUALLY walked right by me without making ANY threatening movements or body language might know something." And I'm pretty sure the cart animal jumping off the cliff AND rudy trying to use his eye happened after he already started talking. He had literally no reason to know not to talk to them. You have the benefit of being the person WATCHING the story unfold and literally saw in the beginning of the episode that those people were dangerous. Rudy doesn't know he's in an anime dude and he didnt see the beginning of the episode like you did. Think about it from the perspective of an actual person and not from the perspective of a character in a story.

Smash Bran'Discootch

Oh and all the people saying that Rudy should have known not to talk to them, remember that HE didnt see the beginning of the episode like the rest of us did. Yall were all already on your guard because of that. Had that not happened, yall would have all been like, "Hm, who are these two strangers walking past them put of nowhere. Might be a threat but might also just be some new characters!"

TitanMachine

To be fair, he was calm and reasonable when Eris was crying scared of Ruijerd. That worked out great for him. He did not have the benefit of hearing the ominous background music, or seeing the tease at the start of the episode. Orstead opened the dialogue with Rudy's group first, making it less insane for Rudy to call after him to ask about the displacement incident.

Candy

Lupa- aaah is he dead 💀😂

Tabbs

Yeah I like her spot on predictions but other times she just needs to let the show explain what’s going on

Dune

Yeah but like all that aside. Ruijerd and eris stopped moving, he saw ruijerd clutch his spear hard, he even told rudeus to not move a muscle and then their animal killed itself. Like there's so many red flags there to tell you hey these people are trouble and we shouldn't provoke them.

KasaiKouhai

There’s not much information for him to read the room, if anything the fact that he’s not feeling any fear would make him curious if anything

AmpLvX

Plot twist it's the same laplace and he's getting isekai'd to different animes

Mad4Life

Ruijerd being scared stiff should've been the clue to stfu.

Mad4Life

That's why RE: Zero and Jojo reactions are always funny af cause Sheera be getting clapped back to back trying to predict in those anime.

Jake Thompson

If I had to guess, I'd bet that one of Orsted's curses might be no one can lie to him, that's why Rudy just spouted everything out.

Ara Araragi

Rudeus: *clings to Eris after being healed* Eris: "You seem awfully energetic, Rudeus-kun. Did something good happen?"

Rakudai

Boss Orsted !!

Rakudai

Won't be the last time

Mad4Life

Listen if Ruijerd, affected by a curse or not tells you not to move then why move? You see Ruijerd and Eris are clearly scared stiff , the ox would rather commit suicide than be near those guys and your eye gets clapped just seeing all the near hundreds of possibilities he could've approached you. You literally can't defend Rudy in this situation. He didn't even know about curses so from his or anyone else's perspective it would look like Ruijerd and Eris are just scared af and your animal just killed itself. Like if it was just Eris being afraid then fine she's a teenage girl, but Ruijerd who you know is strong af and doesn't seem like someone to be easily frightened by most people is afraid why press on? Yet here we have Rudy just blabbing his mouth when Ruijerd is telling him to stop talking. Like Rudy is obviously a socially inept person so why is it shocking to you he couldn't form context from this situation unless you were socially inept yourself?

T2M

Idk if anyone of you has read the manhwa omniscient readers viewpoint but orsted reminded me a lot of the "true main character", the badass good looking guy (yoo junghyuk or smth like that) where he respawns everytime he dies and repeats his own story by progressing further and further with the gained knowledge. Kinda like subaru from re zero just more of a overpowered chosen/cursed one. It feels like orsted has met/will meet eris and rujerd at some point of his "story" so he recongizes them but not rudi because he is kinda invading his story as someone from another world (LN or manga readers dont confirm or deny that was just a theory I dont wanna get spoiled). Also I think it's really cool to see rudi go all out for the first time, I always felt like he nerfed himself really hard and even when fighting the nord-saint or whatever at the beast village he casted only trash spells that won't kill because he is afraid of killing people but here it feels like he did not care in any way with his spinning earth spike of doom or the fireball thats about to hit hiroshima. I get the feeling that rudi is, if he had the experience and balls, by far the strongest of dead end and he could take on rujerd in a 1v1 (mainly because of his foresight eye tough). Can any LN reader confirm rudis current strength in some way thats not too spoiler heavy?

DBJXXVIII

Imagine if the Man-God couldn't see Rujierd's future and Rudy "read the room" in that situation while Eris was spazzing out.

RavinFox .

Speaking of characters coming from Slime, I had NO IDEA Shizue got isekai'd a 2nd damn time and found herself in this anime. Has a mask and everything. Who the heck made Mushoku Tensei again? lol

Totally Thomas

Note to self. Never fuck with a guy who has dragon scales for skin! Great episode. this world building is just spectacular!

wrld

People getting upset with Rudy like they didn’t wanna learn more too 😭, Also Eris AND Ruijerd both questioned Orsted as well. Rudy saw an opportunity and took it

Ian

Damn, fary tail looking crazy lmao

CHILDSPLAY.OVERLORD

Oh so when the Dragon god said Paul only has two daughters that means he knew Rudy not supposed to exist in this world that’s why he asked about the man god.

Amzee

points to clarify: - Laplace is the demon god, the 4th of the world powers and the guy who gave the cursed spears to the Superd. He was known for having a LOT of mana. While the mana disaster was happening, Perugius (one of the legendary figures who sealed Laplace in the past and who now lives on the floating castle) thought the mana surge was a result of someone trying to undo the seal on Laplace and ordered his servant to kill anyone suspicious. the servant targeted Rudeus, another individual with a disgusting amount of mana - The girl with Orsted was called 'Nanahoshi', she isn't scared of the dragon god and she has black hair, which Rudy noted in the beginning of the series 'was very rare in this world' - we did see Orstred during the montage of people reacting to the mana disaster. a Dragon flew up to him and tried to attack him, but it failed and it ran away after looking in his eyes. I believe Roshi called him Lance from pokemon, which is appropriate seeing how he drove his hand through Rudeus like a Lance (been sitting on that joke for 9 months). - Rudeus can only use chantless magic on the spells he learnt as a toddler, so he can't do chantless healing magic since he learnt that after with Roxy. the requirements for chantless is essentially learning magic as a little kid, it's rare because what kid will have enough cognition to actively train in magic as a 2 year old? - We saw it a little during the fight with Gallus Cleaner, but we see it better here: Rudeus noticed that by combining his huge amount of mana with the fact he can do chantless magic, he can keep adding and then 'compressing' mana in a spell to make it more powerful (His fireball and stone cannon managed to even surprise Orstred. SN: why is it always dragon people who have the power to destroy the world in isekai? First Milim and Veldora and now Orstred. Re zero was being original by making the destroyer of worlds a cat

Skrall Original

I don't think he use all of his strength into this "Nuclear" Ball because if i remember correctly they did say that he could actually destroy a whole city but in this episode he didn't to not kill Ruijerd and Eris at the same time ( my guess ) . Orsted mention why Rudi isn't use Incantation less Healing spell and the reason for that is that is not used to use healing magic whithout incantation and with he's lung fucked up he can only do element spell that he can use without chanting .

NAJU 🌵

Lupa your hair is fucking amazing sheeeesh!!!

Uglygod

People really defending Rudy for saying he didn’t know they were dangerous, like have y’all never been in a situation where a sketchy dude has walked by you and you tense up for a bit? Like it’s okay that Rudy messed up because that’s his flaw he is very arrogant to the world still. Just because you like his character doesn’t mean you have to defend every decision he makes.

NeoSpotLite

I think this is spoiler, they're not supposed to know Orsted repeats the timeline. Also Yoo JungHyuk is a regressor, that's the term you were looking for.

AuxOx

the way that I see it is he is doing everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, he can to not live the life he lived before. Before he was a neet who would likely just shut up and keep to himself when a problem arose but in this life he's trying to be the person who is always speaking and being charismatic. Yeah he could easily tell that if Ruijerd was tensed up he should have been too but at the end of the day it's hard to break a habit you've been building up for 12 yrs (since he was reborn). Trust me i've made fun of him too because of this but i think a bit more insight and thinking helps

Anonymous

Favorite episode by far, man. I loved every onscreen moment of the Dragon God. They did a wonderful job making those exchanges with him feel tense as all hell and succeeded, imo. Kenjiro Tsuda as his VA was a really nice choice as well.

Jdogzero Silverblade

that is false. the reason he cant heal without chanting is because he would need to picture all the cells repairing and the entire healing process. the chant bypasses the need for that as a kind of replacement. he literally wouldnt be able to do it even if he had enough power to blow up 400 galaxies. and the fire ball he shot was just him increasing the temperature more and more. as shown when the colors changed. went in order from how hot it needed to be. his was purple which means the temperature of his fire was 71000 °F or 39400 °C. thats why everything around them was melting stupidly fast even though they were in a constant far below 0 climate.

Jdogzero Silverblade

your an actual idiot. they didnt defend him at the start. they were literally calling him out for being an idiot. only when the story told them the reason he wasnt scared or hated him was when they understood. back off moron.

Izaya

one thing is Sheera that always complains but people really dont understand how stories are written do they? Shit needs to happen, conflict needs to be built. Had rudy shut his mouth and let them go we wouldn't have had a dope episode like this. come on guys, learn how to understand stuff. if you want to go watch show that nothing happens there are specific animes for that. would you rather that rudy didn't say anything and they went about his buisness?? How blant and anticlimactic would that be?? At this point i just think that people are searching random reasons to complain about rudy, honestly

Uglygod

Bro what I’m talking about the people in the comments not the gang. The way they reacted was perfectly fine. I’m talking about how some are saying Rudy was in the right in acting the way he did and are not understanding the reading the room situation.

MWS

Rudeus wasnt scared of that guy because he isnt effected by the curses, Rudeus couldnt feel any battle aura

BigGokii

After watching this epic episode so many times, I dont know who to blame, the writer or Rudy. Rudy is a very smart and cautious person so I would expect for him to not be so open, especially in a situation like that. Although, he probably wanted to get some answers about man-god so I kinda get why he spoke out like that but still out of character. Also, Nanahoshi is most likely another person reincarnated and asked Orsted to revive Rudy which also explains why she isnt afraid of Orsted just like our dumb protagonist.

Anamo

@izaya Seriously ? She can't express her opinion while watching ? Don't take it at the 1st degree ^^ Common we know that shits need to happen XD But we all can speculate about what we wanted to happen too or not happen. Even if we know it would not change the history ^^ we're not dumb ~ cheers

jogurtowski

maybe that's another of his curses

ZOOM

it isnt that rudues can only learn to do chantless casting as a toddler, its that he doesnt understand how healing magic works and thats why he cant use chantless healing

Qrizz

I feel like the girl with Orsted is a human from another world too, because she didn't fear Orsted.

rośe 薔薇

A cool detail is when ruijerd fought ostred, ruijerd was moving in 12 fps while ostred was 24 Fps. A nice to touch to show the superiority difference in ability, also an insane amount of drawings

kurumi Tokisaki

Wow, so he wouldve made it worst by having everyone blown off the mountain. smh this guy

sim

rudy has constantly done stupid shit its just now it was infrot of a man named orsted.. so the backlash was much worse, unlike shirone castle

jaynic

Really? Even if conflict needs to be built doesnt mean characters should go and start acting braindead, that's just poor writing. Rudy should have read the room, like he sees eris and ruijed completely shitting themselves, and he sees his ox freaking kills it's self obviously that guy was bad news.

Izaya

And your are exactly one of those people im talking about. I was already assuming that one or two of you were gonna show up. You clearly stray from the story and digs a reason to rant about rudy. Rudy clearly is not affected by Orsted's curse so he doesn't fear him. You are saying that you would rather them to have walked by nothing happened?? This is "Turning Point 2", unfortunately its not going to happen. If you pay attention to the flow of the story you can clearly understand the direction the story is going. If what you called "bad writting" is giving room for conflict i wonder what you consider good writing, dont call it bad writting just because you cant understand it. You are definitely one of "those" guys. If the story doesn't please you than stop watching. If it has "bad writing" and you dont like conflict then go watch a romcom slice of life, cause this is discussion is absolutely pointless at this point. there is nothing to be gained trying to explain the basics of the basics here

Mad4Life

Future seeing eye gets clapped from too many possibilities, Ox would rather jump off a cliff then be near those strangers, Ruijerd who's way more stronger than me and clearly afraid tells me not to move, (don't know want curses are yet btw) yep I should definitely start having a friendly conversation with these two guys what could possibly go wrong?

Izaya

i never said she couldn't. If you see my comment i never said anything like that. I said that is not a surprise for her to complain since she complains about everything all the time. Every conflict there she goes complaining about character's decisions, it almost seems like she doesn't understand that shit needs to go south eventually. I already expected that from Sheera, i was jsut a little surprised on how many people other then her are incapable of understanding a storyline. She is not a surprise, though, thats what i said.

Lucky Licks

Cry about it, you the only taking the L.

Pilligrim Ilyas

Yeah, and also her name was very Japanese-ish. Not like European like everyone else

Pilligrim Ilyas

Laplace is the Demon God that waged the war against humanity many years ago. And also the one who cursed the spears of Sperds. Kirishika and Orsted mentioned him in the context of the quantity of mana because it's considered that Laplace had the biggest quantity of mana of all living things ever existed.

None None

And Kyo Kara Maoh was written from 2000-2010 (with the anime airing in the later half of the decade). It was one of the first-generation Isekai, along with stuff like Zero no Tsukishima (Fun fact: the real reason for "Re:Zero"'s title is because the author was an active member of the ZnT fanfic community and initially sold the concept of his web novel to his fanfic readers by advertising it as his own re-interpretation of ZnT. Hence, re-zero). Mushoku Tensei absolutely has some of its DNA in its veins.

Settsu

Sheera needs to remember that Rudeus got into most of his trouble because he is bad at reading the room lol

Pilligrim Ilyas

It's not because he's arrogant. In the LN he said that it might be very dangerous but it might be his last chance to meet someone with great knowledge. So he risked doing this and thought to himself that nothing shouldn't go out of plan because they're not hostile, this is their first meeting and they don't look like unreasonable people. Considering basic sense nothing should've gone astray. But, yeah, just as Rudeus said, he was just unlucky that all of these conditions and events matched. Who would've known right?

Jake White

Damn kinda wish this was more enjoying and appreciating the work and budget they put in to this episode, rather than just constant discussion about Rudy’s mistake or Lupa dookin himself in fear lmao. Like I get it, everyone who saw the episode probably said something about it but sheesh lol. Oh well, tightest episode yet. Reall potential shown for some future spectacles

earthphoenix7068

Also because her name is formed with Japanese characters

earthphoenix7068

He placed the curse of the spears and thus the Sperds

Skebaba

Also stupid anime skipped on the internal monologue of him feeling the SAME AURA he feels when the Man-God summons him to the white room thingie, which is why he asked him about the teleport boogaloo, since he might know cuz he gave same mojo as the Man-God does, to Rudy's instinct

Weltall Gaia

Ya'll busy arguing who healed rudeus while they are saying orsted healed rudeus and you missed something odd about the name Nanahoshi.

rashawn ince

dont think man god has a physical form cuz he needs his apostles to act for him. also think laplace the same one that put the curse on the superd

kuroihana

yeah dont underestimate Aisha, that girl smart af.

kuroihana

i love that this episode is a good amount of heat, and a good amount of exposition.

Kusu_

First time in this world that we encounter someone with a name that sounds Japanese.

devilx12x xenox

Also you guys missed something that orsted had said that paul only has two daughters was because rudeus was summoned to another world so normally he wasn't supposed to exist

Taylor Wilson

Don't say that, actually unnecesary

Kusu_

Wym ?

Taylor Wilson

but he really doesn't know how to read a room they've shown that time and time again, you saying he should know isn't going to make him suddenly learn. He made a mistake and got rekt and you best believe he'll learn from THIS mistake

Taylor Wilson

People just want him to KNOW, when reading a room is something he's never learned. He's been sheltered quite a bit in both this life and his last. Generally people learn from their mistakes but if they never make mistakes how are they supposed to know. A lot of people are too used to anime protaganists just knowing how to do everything or being mary sues

BZD

He couldn’t read the room because they were outside.

BZD

I love how the cow thing said “nope, Imma go now.” And then Jumped off the cliff.

BZD

I love how Rudy propped himself up with the rocks, it had the essence of a cool slumped pose, like how the Jarl of Whiterun sits.

WeavyBoo

*laughs in light novel reader (up to LN 17 so far)* Oh man Orsted. You guys have no idea when it comes to Orsted. He is so cool

Daniel Borrego

yes but eris and rujerd being terrified should have probably given him pause. but rudy is a bit of a ditz when it comes to social situations where hes not being attacked. if his defensiveness isnt activated then hes completely oblivious, which is why he keeps getting trapped or thrown in jail all the time.

Philbo

SPOILER if you haven’t watched ReZero Just like reZero when he was talking to the witch of Greed how excited he was when she knew about his curse he couldn’t stop saying it

Daniel Borrego

ok orsten is called the dragon god, but is that just a rank, or is he actually a god. because the sword ranks also have a sword god, but i think thats just a top tier swordman. the man god i can see being an actual god. but he said orsten was born as a cursed child, so he either kratos'd his way into godhood or its just a power ranking in this world.

WeavyBoo

One of, if not the best episode so far

WeavyBoo

So of what I know so far without spoiling, I think you're correct with it just being a tier thing. Given we know there is god-tier magic, but it's super powerful and not many are capable of it. I won't spoil why he is a dragon god tho. And of where I'm at in the light novels (I'm at 17, in the anime we're at the beginning of 6, and the manga rn just finished ln 9; this episode is about chapter 48 in the manga), I have no idea about Hitogami's origin

Rakudai

You're gonna cum in LN 21

Bully Finch

Skyrim is the only drug I’d recommend to a kid. Edit: Don’t do actual drugs kids.

Dane

Our boy Rudy got the Yamcha treatment.

MHAscrub

I love Kenjiro Tsuda as a VA so much!!! Already voices my favorite anime villain (Overhaul) and now Orsted!!! O.o

ElasticMemories

Sword God is the leader of the Sword God style dojos. Dragon God is the leader of the dragon race. Dragon God is much closer in status and divinity to Man God's level, though.

ElasticMemories

Roshi didn't miss that but he didn't finish the thought since Orsted attacked

ElasticMemories

But in Re Zero, the sword of the destroyer of the destroyer of worlds is Dragon Sword Reid Ahem Reinhardt OP ahem (this about that 1 timeline in a past Re Zero season)

ElasticMemories

No, actually that small girl is the Demon Lord that ruled and was killed before Laplace took over.

Danny

He is also the legendary Seto Kaiba. Wasnt able to hear his voice in my childhood cuz i watched yugioh dubbed back then but seen a couple scenes with Kenjiro as Kaiba and it was fire

Zonbi

Orsted did notice the curse didn't work. He specifically noticed that only Rudy was able to look him in the eye.

beelzebub

I was guessing the same thing though... it seems pretty obvious actually. Nanahoshi ? Looks the same age and they didnt put so much focus and detail into just the girl before the crash for nothing. For writings sake, its obviously her

beelzebub

I think he thought they were being rude, like how other people are racist towards the superd tribe. I think he also has this thing about not avoiding situations to avoid being the way he was in his past life. Not to mention he probably felt safe because he had the impression that he was with the biggest guy in the room. After Ruijerd said shut the fuck up I think anybody would have listened though, lol.

LC

another one not happy that the reactors are reacting to the episode. if you don't want discussion then just watch it yourself?

Archduke Earl Von Margrave

people being upset that rudeus started talking to orsted doesnt make much since since the second prior both Rejiurd and Eris asked him how Orsted knew them, thus prompting Rudy to also ask a question in confusion since even though Rejiurd said not to move, he still conversed. Even then, Rudy talked in the upmost polite and apologetic manner to hopefully not start a conflict such as when he apologizes for taking up their time with his curious questioning. How would Rudy know that comfirming hitogami has spoken to him would prompt a death sentence from Orsted.

Balázs Börcsök

The Man God has no physical form (used to). That thing hates the dragons and will do everything to get rid of them

Nesko_Pie

It’s called reading the room. When you walk into a tense situation where you know shits about to go down, you have to decide if you want the smoke or do you shut up and mind your business.

UNI

you say reading the room is the key but still niggas act like reading the room is the first thing you do, I swear it's like ya'll experience this shit on daily basis. Even when the fucking show explained why he did what he did to not spark conflict. The Fear curse is what would of made him be quiet if not then of course he's gonna ask important questions.

Ash

Rip cow. We hardly knew thee

Peacefinder Simply

please don't answer these things, not sure why this is so hard to understand

Daniel Borrego

so is man god like an actual god then, and dragon god is more like king of the dragons?

None None

@Daniel Borrego The short version is that each of the species has a "God" (the Beast God's been mentioned before) and they're all equal in theory, including the Man God. Although just because the titles are equal doesn't mean the people holding them are... That's all you get.

BZD

What are you talking about, he didn’t end up in a crater? If anything, Eris was the one put in a crater, albeit a crater on a wall.

BZD

Truly it was a good cow.

A1_MiLFshAkE

Rudeus I officially bestow upon you the title of “ Bad reads man” W/ this title you will be able to miraculously fail to read the room XD What an episode I was getting chills

HollowedSlayer

Yo is Lupa okay? Those were some serious screams.

Arknightoni

That is how most people are lol "I know exactly what I would do in this weird/dangerous situation that I've never been in." It is a lot easier to say what you would do when watching others go through it. But to be fair to others reading the room isn't exactly a hard thing to do especially when the physically strongest mf in your party who you THOUGHT was invincible till now is telling you to chill the fuck out. Yes, you could argue about Orsteds curse not working on him so he wouldn't know but seeing Rujerd frightened for the first time would tell me I can't fuck with this guy

Friendly Elites

My knowledge on the later parts of the series and the history of Orsted isn't very deep but as far as I know he was one of the Dragon Generals to the first Dragon God who was his father. the Dragon God title you get for being the strongest of the Dragon race.

Shaquille Hinds

The real question is why doesn't the lady next to him fear him like everyone else and why is her name so different.

Jake White

Or take your own advice and realize that other people have different perspectives? And maybe learn not to take a simple comment with 1 minor gripe so seriously as if I’m attacking them or being ridiculous?

Jake White

@morgan we’re adults. I really can’t make 1 goofy minor complaint that isn’t even that serious? And I never said I didn’t want discussion, read the rest of the context. Just said it was a little frustrating having them stuck discussing that 1 singular topic throughout the whole episode over and over again

Drake Rage

Hmm... I know Nana Hoshi means 7 stars... hopefully its not a spoiler.. I am not going to go out of my way to try to make connections since the anime has not given enough information to try to make reasonable connections. Edit: NVM I found the connection, it was the root of the name itself, haha.

2026-10-24 11:00 I don't care what anyone says if the strongest person in my group says do not move or speak then don't! it's not even about reading the room he literally told him & he didn't listen. no sympathy if he was so willing to risk it.
2021-12-10 01:21

Drake Rage

Lmao, I have to agree. Sheera starts complaining instead of watching the events play out... Its like when someone messes up and there is a big problem to deal with.. but Sheera will be spending the time blaming who created the problem, instead of trying to find ways to solve the problem. Especially when TIME is of the essence (Life or Death situation).

Nana

Bro sheera ain’t in the show it’s not up to her to find ways to solve the problem not like they can hear her

Anthony Argueta

I know this comment is super late but heres some clarification for why Rudy did what he did. Tbh, the anime did Rudy pretty dirty lol (the ep was still amazing tho). Firstly, Orsted having multiple images in Rudy's mind reminded him of the Human God who had a similar presence to Orsted. Secondly, Orsted was more weird in the LN as he actually had a very friendly voice while addressing Ruijerd as if he was very familiar with him. Lastly, Orsted with his mysterious phrase of " you will know me eventually" made Rudy think that he knew more things that people didn't, like the Mana disaster. This is what made Rudy ask Orsted. Edit: Coincidentally, AniNews did a video on this subject explaining why Rudy did what did. I reccomend you guys check it out!

Luqman Muhammad

Have you read the manga or Ln if not shut f up rudeus would've been fucked either way. Jesus

A1_MiLFshAkE

@Luqman Muhammad I’m joking u dickhead & it is a valid point Rudeus has his 2 trusted friends telling him not to talk and w/ his piss poor social skills gets them fucked up for talking to much. I can send ur a** some crayons for consumption Bi** boy.

Drake Rage

Seeing how Rudeus had been holed up in his room for the past 20 years in his previous life... telling the guy to "read the room" sounds even more dumb. They don't remember the info from past episodes which would have made Rudeus speaking in that situation to be plausible. Then they even gave info in this episode that Rudeus did not see Orsted's threat-level since he was not affected by the curse. To Rudy, trying to get some sort of information from this Mysterious-looking guy was more important than keeping quiet like Ruijerd asked... since he did not get affected by the Fear/Hate from Orsted's curse. I would say that I was surprised Rudeus talked about the Man-God, but that could again be because he was happy someone else knows about the Man-God and he wanted to talk to him about that as well. I would not call him an idiot to react how he did since he had already tried to be as polite and non-threatening as possible. He really just wanted to try to get some information from Orsted.

Razor4884

Ugh. I can't read Japanese. I'm waiting for Volume 15 to come out in a few months, but the wait is killer. I'd rather not get into the WN, since I prefer the LN's structure.

Drake Rage

@Nana........ I was giving an example, smarty-pants. In this case, since she is a viewer, she should be paying attention to what was happening. She was busy complaining when one of the best scenes of the episode was taking place, the fight between Ruijerd and Orsted. She always does that, she kicks a guy while he is down.. like Rudeus was at the brink of death saying "I am sorry Eris" but Sheera comments "well you should learn to keep your mouth shut" or something to that effect... that was a shitty thing to say in that moment.

PokeDexs

I hope the see this

ShinDawn

I don't like Rudy's oblivious attitude most of the time but I honestly don't think he's to blame here. I only see this episode as something that is bound to happen. Based on Orsted's dialogue, mainly the part where he said "we haven't known each other yet", I guess he has some time ability that allows him to look into the future, and if that's the case the reason why he doesn't know about Rudy is probably that he's not originally from their world. So he is essentially a human that's not supposed to exist. Human-god also said Rudy is not affected by the curse because of the same reason. Edit: Also, watching the episode again, the only reason the fight happens is that Rudy answered Orsted question if he knows Human-God which in his defense, he has no idea Orsted hates the god, and it's also the first time Rudy heard someone else mention his name that's why he answered nonchalantly.

Arsean Wilbon

Plus the anime didn’t explain right, when Rudy sees orsted, his flickering image reminds him of Man god so that’s why he answers, and In the LN orsted appears more friendly.

user216612

Well put, hope that Roshi will see your comment

high reactions

reading the room is the most easiest thing to do unless youre just THAT oblivious to everything around you. stop it.

high reactions

no, i wouldnt have done that at all. weirdo. If you cant notice your teammates being shook and one telling you not to do anything then dont. simple.

Seasick

hes talking about when dr gero turned him into a donut in the android saga

Oximus

Ya'll are unreasonable as fuck. Ruijerd only told Rudy to not move, not to be silent. Which even if he did, he just moments prior very aggressively asked Orsted how he knew him and Eris. Rudy on the other hand was much more non-confrontational and polite. The singular reason why the fight happened was because of the tidbit about the human god. Which has nothing to do with reading the room. There's no way to possibly infer that. They could of been having a perfectly civil/friendly convo and the result would have been the same once that info was brought about. Orsted didn't even hear Rudi's whole answer. He was going to kill him just for knowing of the human god. Also, he was the only one to die out the trio. How ya'll shitting on him for him dying? Wtf is wrong with people.

Bob Loblaw

If I’m walking with Mike Tyson in his prime and someone walks by who makes him shit himself and tells me not to move I’m not saying SHIT to them much less trying to ask him questions

TK

bro stfu i read the first sentence and understood ur whole sob story, who tf gonna wanna read a fuckin novella, shakespeare soundin ass

WeavyBoo

I didn't read it in Japanese. I've been listening to the Bakatsuki fan translation. There are audiobooks for it on YT.

WeavyBoo

@Rakudai What does he do in LN 21? I've read it at this point and I don't recall him really being much of a part of the story... You are talking LN 21, right? Where they go back to Millis with all the shenanigans with Zenith's mom?

Luhbabytay

LUPA how you get scared of a anime character lmao the way you be acting be killing me lol man up

kuroihana

i know this is 3 months late but i think this episode already confirms Rudi's strength. We have Orsted who's said to have the strength to destroy the world, and Ruijerd our pinnacle of strength up to this point face in the dirt K.O.'d after being unable to leave a scratch on Orsted, while Rudi not only manages to crack through his defenses but injure him in a minor way. I bet in an all out fight at this time, Rudi definitely beat Ruijerd, but not without taking some good hits himself.

Dragon

right lol

Angelo

But rujierd didn't tell him to be quiet tho. He told him not to move which rudeus didn't do. In fact rujierd himself and eris ask questions before rudeus talks. Rudeus talking to orsted makes sense because orsted seemed like a reasonable person. He gave his name away he talked to rujierd and eris as if he met them. He even doesn't really react to knowing rudeus is paul's son so he doesn't have a family grudge. There is no way to read a room that if you answer yes to 1 question a person immediately tries to kill you. Orsted asked about the man god and before he could even explain orsted tried to kill him there is no way you could read the room if somebody asks you if you know somebody and a yes or no can decide whether you are alive or not.

Angelo

What do you mean selfish. Rudeus is not selfish at all. Paul is the one that is selfish he is so insecure about rudeus growth as a person that he pushes his own mistakes to find his family on rudeus. He himself was not able to find anyone for a year and a half but then decides to push it on rudeus. Also i don't know why people ask about reading the room could you imagine if somebody tried to rush in and kill you over a yes and no question. You could never read that. Orsted didn't even let rudeus finish talking. Orsted was not talking threatening he was answering questions and giving questions. There was no way for rudeus to know that if he even answered slightly yes that orsted would rush him before he could even explain.

Joey Zero

Nah y'all cannot blame Rudy for any of that. I love how Ruijerd and Eris talk to Orsted first and they don't freak out or tell them to shut up, but as soon as Rudy opens his mouth it's all "NOOO Rudy what are you doing!?!? Can't you read the room??" Like he was literally the last one to talk in the whole situation. Rudy also couldn't read the room because he literally couldn't feel the fear that both Ruijerd and Eris were physically feeling. He probably saw it as a similar situation to the first time he met Ruijerd.

Joey Zero

Ruijerd didn't even listen to his own advice though. Him and Eris both spoke first the moment Orsted mentioned their names. How are you gonna tell me not the move, but then you open your mouth? They're lucky he didn't attack right then and there. Rudy didn't feel any hostility when they asked Orsted how he knows them, so he figured it would be a good time to gain some knowledge. Obviously, we find out Orsted and the Man-God have beef, but there's no way Rudy would know that.

beelzebub

Maybe Rudy be feeling right though

slipHAZARD

Oh the irony of Sheera and Lupa telling some one else they talk to much

jordansamuel

They got their shit rocked! Sheesh!

Justin

Agreed^

ok

😂😂 now i need to watch those

Shawn Oxley

Man I fucking love the scene where Ruijerd is fighting Orsted even more so in the dub because his scream sounds desperate af
