Technically as fucked as it is. Kreese was in the right with the eviction thing. They have a written contract unlike Johnny who just had a handshake deal. Kreese legally cannot be evicted while that contract is still valid, as long as he pays the specified rent. And beating his nephews was self defense

Looking at Kreese's past I can see why he takes the rule of no mercy to the extreme cause back then it was literally life or death for him but he's purposely trying to create a war just cause he doesn't want to give up on that principle. I admit there are times when you have no choice but to show no mercy but when you force a situation to occur that point is just wrong imo.

Its kind of sad because you can say he's a character, but I think 90% of him is based in reality. Maybe more. Especially when it comes to Vietnam. These guys coming back that just couldn't separate that world from the current one. I think its pretty obvious to the US citizens that the government doesn't do its part for soldiers. Lets say Kreese's backstory wasn't fictional, there is no way a person could just get dropped back on the streets of LA and live their life as if it was fine and dandy. For the sake of the story, he's a villain. In reality, he's a manifestation of a life that 99.9% just dont understand.

@Erich Bomke I completely agree with you about the real life aspect that they put into Kreese's character cause unfortunately there are a lot of veterans that can't distinguish war from real life and just ends up treating everything like it's war. It definitely doesn't help that the US just pretty much leaves them on their own after they did their service.

So just so you know. Tang Soo Do is "korean karate" it was developed based on shotokan karate during the Japanese occupation of Korea. Over time Koreans added indigenous kicking techniques and some other stylistic changes to make it what it is today. I might be a little off on this but I believe tang soo do is korean for the original Kanji meaning for karate which was "tang dynasty hand". Source: I'm the world's biggest martial arts nerd.
