Fire mid-season finale!! The writers room was on one this season!

Comments

Jacob The weird

Bro all this magic shit and Constantine and Deadman is nowhere to be seen?

Steven Vu

For the origins of phantom stranger, there isn’t like one solid origin for him but the most common origin I’ve seen is that the phantom stranger is like the combined form of all the dead Jews that have ever died.

Denickart

Y'all should react to Spectacular Spider-Man. Same writer as Young Justice.

David

Justice Society predates the Justice League. Doctor Fate (Kent Nelson) was a member of the JSA in his prime before the Justice League. The show has referenced them a bunch of times, especially the first season. The perfect introduction to them would be Stargirl. Currently 2 seasons with 13 episodes each. Also an excellent show with solid production values.

Avery

Pretty sure the woman on apocalypse was Barda or one of the furies

feefee

react to boba fett?

Jemell Rodgers

No Roshi... that was Big Barda not Mary Marvel

KJ
>>74679337

Lmao how? We dont even know if they keep up with Star Wars

Austin Friley

I don’t think it’s that her version of Shazam is bad but I think she has an addiction problem and her drug is power, I know an addict when I see one

DevilMayCarter

Even though the S1 Finale for Harley Quinn was wild...Klareon literally being a snack for his cat might be the craziest thing of the week.

Ibrahim Sbai

I think the one y’all are talking about is actually Big Barda which is another character on apocalypse

jesse almonte

I'm really glad they decided to amp up mature themes Like the opposite of Teen titans franchise

CuteAdorableDog

so the justice league justice society thing is because remember that bus comes from 10 years ago towards the beginning of season 1 when dr fate was not active and not inducted into the justice league yet but we learned during that season the previous dr fate kent nelson was a member of the old justice society

Jeffrey D
>>74678537

Exactly. Fate joined the league at the end of season 1 so the bus driver couldn't have know since he was already riding the magic school bus by then.

Jazko
>>74680172

Don’t get it twisted TT got dark sometimes but it really was mostly lighthearted

Hobbes

Evil Mary Marvel is such an interesting choice, I hope they build up her heel switch cause her going full psycho like in Final Crisis could be some dope stuff

David
>>74678537

The tone of Stargirl is comparable to Cobra Kai in my opinion. And they love that show. And it also helps that Stargirl has incredible and well choreographed action scenes.

Jazko

Who I wanna see next part: -More Impulse/Kid Flash lore (introduce the speed force) -multiverse Lore -Damian Wayne and Jason Todd -Raven and Trigon But don’t let it ruin the season like how it did for season 3. I assume Raven is still a child around this time if they want Raven and Damian to be a thing also. The writers are doing an amazing thing I just HOPE WALLY COMES BACK WITH CONNOR

kai

connors in the phantom zone(alternate dimension prison where krypton stored strong dangerous mfs) phantom girl(one of the legion superheroes) probably brought him there after the explosion which is why you can see the scars on his body so as long as he stays in the phantom zone hes alive until they find a way to bring him back.

Trayvon Brown

I got an opposite reading than a lot of people apparently so i'll copy my post from reddit. I thought when phantom stranger said this all started because of an idea and we switched to Zatanna contemplating from episode 9 that was the moment she came up with the idea to have her disciples rotate with the helmet? If that's the case she didn't plan it from the beginning and isn't so morally dubious, did i read that scene from phantom stranger wrong? And if i did what did he mean?

Jam

I think Phantom Stranger was saying that the chaos was caused by the moment they showed Zatanna hesitate in the flashback which is when she thought of the idea of freeing her father. That's what stranger meant by an act of love.

rickie woodson

young justice has officially caught up with modern comics. khalid is fate!

DevilMayCarter

Basically Zatanna was on her Nightwing ish. On brand, considered that her and Dick were a thing. Nightwing, Aqualad, Tigress, this was the point of two seasons ago.

Swervo

I hope I don’t have to see beastboy depressed again every episode when this comes back because it takes away from whatever’s going on that episode and it’s no point showing him every episode if nothings gonna be done to fix it

Tramaine Thomas

What if they're setting it up to put Conner's spirit in the other Superboy clone from project Match that way they can bring him back and upgrade his powers. His eyes in spirit form were very similar the the other Superboy just a guess that it could be a hint

rickie woodson

well it is a girl's name since its the family name lol zatanna zatara. and her father is giovanni zatara but goes by the american name of john like most immigrants assimilate

rickie woodson

earth 1 and earth 2 is whats going on. one where dr. fate is only in JSA not JLA. plus time travel

Cc.Rin4456

whats the new upload schedule??

logan

I agree completely w Sheera

MetsuMonsta
>>74681562

I hear you bro but if they don’t show you something or give some type of exposition to what’s been going on when something DOES happen, people are gonna be like his friends are trash and nobody tried to help him. Then if something tragic happens folks are gonna start pointing fingers at who to blame

Swervo
>>74681562

Yea me to because if they bring superboy back and he takes him out his depression it would feel like we just went through a whole season of him being depressed for nothing

Devin B

Idk what this season is trying to spell out anymore. I was sure the next initials for this and the next two eps would've spelled out "the" but this K threw me for a loop.

Xaveria Time

I'm really anooyed with how they're handling beast boy, like his depression is an interesting topic, but you keep under cutting with more interesting plot lines about huge super hero shit. Just make an episode focus on him, taking step to get over it instead of dragging it out and making it annoying. It works in shows like bojack because that's the main focus, not super hero magic power shows.

MetsuMonsta

I’m sorry Sheera but I gotta disagree on this one. There is no way you can tell me that Zatanna solution without saying anything is even close to morally acceptable. Even if they agreed to it now it’s BS because she’s using the guilt and sympathy of this whole situation AFTER THE FACT to use the kids as bargaining chips. They came to help people and put their power to use to save the world and others, not sacrifice themselves so she can have happiness with her dad. Yes being Doctor Fate at the end of the day is helping but it’s a literal life time commitment that they didn’t sign up for. She practically offered up some random kids souls lol smh. And really?! This Shazam bitch can’t be convinced to say the word to literally stop chaos from spreading in the universe but she can be coaxed by granny goodness who isn’t even there?! Trash ass character I hate her already

Adrian Valiente

JUSTICE SOCIETY EXPLANATION: Before the Justice League was founded, there used to be another super hero team called the justice society, the founding members were the first human green lantern (Alan Scott), the first flash ( Jay Garrick whom we've seen a couple of times), Doctor Fate, Red Tornado (which was shown in season 1), Hawkman, the first black canary, and others. Wonder Woman, batman & Superman used to be members in older comic books but that was retconned because if they were in the justice society they'd be old af. The Bus Driver recognizes Dr Fate from the justice society because he comes from the past, before Dr Fate joined the Justice League (at the end of S1).

rickie woodson

1. that helmet needs to be fixed. come on khalid! 2. well that explains the season's title. phantom is another word for ghost.

Devin B
>>74678239

After watching No Way Home I started to re watch some of the animated Spider-Man series and I'm enjoying Spectacular Spider-Man a lot.

damion
>>74682375

I for the most part agree. What it is is manipulation on Zatana's part. It's like if you were given candy for free every day for a certain period of time but then suddenly you are told if you want more candy you just need to provide a small service. You don't give people information after they've been ingraciated because self-consciously they'll think they may owe that person who has gifted them said chance or they can think that if they don't do what's requested they'll lose out on the good experience they've been getting. Manipulation albeat for a good cause/reasonable solution.

Miguel

They should react to spectacular Spider-Man if they haven’t seen it yet

Devin B
>>74681562

I really think they should've just gave Beast Boy his own arc just so we can see him go through his depression and then maybe finding a solution to it all at one time. Showing it throughout other characters' arc just this much takes away from it a little bit.

Jason Eastman

When the bus flew by Apokalips, the woman who looked at them was Big Barda. She eventually leaves Darkseid and becomes a friend to the league, at least in some timelines.

Krispin
>>74681578

That actually sounds like a highly helpful and likely thing for them to do. Nice. I’ll look out for this for sure

Krispin
>>74680617

Yea, I need more Impulse honestly. They basically have two flashes now and can accomplish a lot.

delete
>>74678199

The origin based off of The Wandering Jew is not the most common origin for the phantom stranger. That story comes from Secret Origins #10 in 1987 that presents 4 possible origins. Most appearances have him as either a cosmic entity or created by an angel.

Krispin

I noticed that they kinda pulled a “Young Justice” within this episode. They let the younger newer teen heroes be the front stage and the clutch for winning, and pushed Zatanna and Fate more to the side. Reminds me of season 1

OniBaka

Honestly I like how there doing the Beast Boy storyline and now I’m getting more fearful every time it’s on screen cause it feels like it’ll end with him overdosing or killing himself. If that’s the case then this kind of build up would be good rather than 1 or 2 episodes showing his struggle

Mars99
>>74680617

I swear it would be unfair to bring back connor but not wally, and its sad because every season they hint towards wally or remind us of him. However this season and kinda last season had barely any flash related stuff going on so I think they might just straight up ignore the speed force.

Isaac

Honestly, in the case of Zatara and Zatana, I ain't mad at her for doing that. Suffering without a father who is alive and held hostage for the greater good for 10 years just to see him 1 hour per year is garbage. I don't blame her for doing that. I don't blame her for taking advantage of good willed people who are willing to sacrifice their lives for a good cause in other situations that'll torture & kill them. This is a good cause despite how fucked up it was because in the end it's still underhanded manipulation of good faith. Them volunteering out of their good will makes it very easy for her. The guilt of that won't outweigh the happiness she gets out of it with her father. Good. For. Her.

MetsuMonsta
>>74682375

Exactly. It’s a reasonable solution but very underhanded in how she went about it. Manipulating learning magic users is even worse because they are extremely impressionable because magic requires them to always have an open mind so once the idea was planted it didn’t take much for them to say yes under a little pressure. Especially those looking to be decent heroes

Shado

Zatanna may not have forced them, but she did manipulate them. They look up to her as a mentor and an idol, and they're young. They'll do what they can to please her, despite what's best for them. Also that wasn't Mary on Apokalips. It was Big Barda, on of the Valkyries. You saw them last season when they were working under Granny.

Kollie123

This is such a unique season, focusing on characters an arc at a time is cool, but it’s also weird to get basically no nightwing for half a season I’m also not sure how I feel about this arc specifically. Zatanna feels like a side character in her own story focused arc, like yeah she saves her dad at the end, but overall it didn’t feel like the arc as a whole was as personal for her as the first two and their leads.

Mikal Adkins

Y'all probably forgot but Mary isn't weak when she uses Shazam she just becomes addicted to the power she gets when she says it, they explained it two episodes ago.

CJ Dennis
>>74682206

Well see as the season goes on what the titles will be, so who knows 🤷‍♂️.

CJ Dennis
>>74680172

I figured that's what you meant lol, or how some of the direct to video TT films or the live-action series Titans sometimes try a bit to hard be mature and darker.

CJ Dennis
>>74681039

That's an interesting reading, cause I was wondering about why she had that look in that episode. However, in this episode when Khalid ask her if this was her plan all along she doesn't respond, which makes it seem like that was indeed her intention from the start.

Thomas_Stilinski

If possible can you guys react to infinite and love the vid as usual

Yanpo

They got to train under Zatanna's tutelage, and all they had to do was consider becoming part time Doctor Fates? They didn't even have to say yes at the end? They got an amazing deal! I wish I could get manipulated like that every day.

Trayvon Brown
>>74681039

They flash back to that scene in this episode after Khalid asks her, phantom stranger said this all started when she realized they were her best students. Also kinda cheating but i just read greg weisman's twitter (the showrunner) and it seems my reading is correct.

Saba

Have u guys watched the Witcher ?

CJ Dennis

I wonder if the credits weren't supposed to tell us that that was Granny Goodness lol. I knew with this being the mid-season finale we would find out something about where Superboy could be; I guess since this show is called phantoms somebody had to be a ghost lol. Nevertheless, Zatara not getting killed off was a surprise but nice to see, it kind of reminded me of how Hawkeye seemed like he was going die in Age of Ultron and then didn't. Also, I like Khalid turning Child inside out, because it's like poetic justice of what she did to that security guard in the first episode of this arc. Lastly, I think the magic battle could have been a bit more creative but perhaps because of budget constraints they could only do so much. Overall, a decent mid-season finale. https://youtu.be/zIq__qsqlOA

Yanpo
>>74687674

Depending on how their schedule goes, they'll be reacting to it in a month or two.

MetsuMonsta
>>74681562

But the most of his depression is just sleeping so there’s not much to show

Daylen

I feel like this has to play into the phantom zone

Calfrezie

i thought it was big burtha

Hellrell129

Such a good episode!!!! I still want to see you guy hopefully react to justice league at some point.

Samuel Leonard

Dr Fate(Kent Nelon) was in the justice society, so he is confusing Zatara(the Dr Fate for the past decade) with Kent Nelson the former Dr Fate

Anthony Peralta
>>74681648

Bro Kent Nelson was the host when Dr Fate was in the JSA and in S1 when Zatarra had to take on the mantle he stayed in the JLA.

Anthony Peralta
>>74682258

Idk after a few episodes of it, kinda seems like the guy might OD on sleeping pills now which would be more impactful if we see him more often. Maybe it’s also one of the reasons the Legion members come back, to prevent guy from accidentally killing himself

Orlandez Malone

They were literally on the magic school bus for 10 years lol

Arre Jay

I don’t know when you guys are going to do another poll or anything but I really want to see you guys react to Ousama Ranking (Ranking of Kings) it’s hella good

Christine L.

I still want more Zatanna. She barely got screentime in her own arc.

Klitasarous

The two that came out of the scarab looked to be isis and ice. I don't think they're legionnaires because ice was shown last season as part of the justice league.

Kollie123
>>74693369

Yeah, I’ve been waiting for her to get more screen time since season one but this really wasn’t it sadly, she’s a side character in the actual conflict taking place

Teyon Alexander

Pretty sure that was Big Barda on Apocalypse. I could be wrong though. Edit: Ah, reading through the comments I see others have already mentioned it. :)

Mal

I think Sheera (not sure if I'm spelling that right.) is right, I don't think that the plan from the beginning was to sacrifice the kids to the helmet. when the stranger said that Vandal didn't cause this but an act of love did, and they showed Z hesitating then calling them her best students, I think that was when she decided to try and get fate to rotate between them.

LeFlaneur

Not sure how I feel about Zatana’s arc. Lots of lore, set up, and fan service, but not much from Zatana herself.

LeFlaneur
>>74680172

CN (and WB) believe there’s way more money to be made from young kids animation than with shows for teenagers and adults. That’s why shows like Young Justice, Infinity Train, and even Adventure Time eventually got the shaft. Mature western animation still has a stigma, something that benefited Japanese animation where’s there isn’t really any hang-ups with target audiences (money is still an issue, so some great anime do struggle with production and marketing, but the age of the audience is not an issue).

LeFlaneur
>>74682258

Also since season one they’ve explicitly made mental health promotion a huge deal in the Justice League, but everyone is going to let Garfield stew. If he was not a member, or he somehow had no ressources or support, the situation would make sense, but this just feels like the writers forcing a crisis.

LeFlaneur

Zatana: (does some morally dubious shit) Sheera: honestly girl, I stan 😩

King Uma is life

If they do more with apokolips and have already done a big barda cameo then I desperately need in my life a mister miracle arc.

Geo Rockmann

Bruh you guys are so far off at the end about the apokalips one. I'm a little surprised lupa thought that too

Revstarallstar .

Idk about some of that shit. Sherra was understanding of Zatanna but its so fucked. No one brang up the point outright that she groomed a bunch of kids to take on the helmet. She got them to trust in her course and ways so that when it came to head and her plan came to fruition there was less of a chance to say no. Matrix said it best The Choice was always an illusion you know what you must do

Thomas_Stilinski

Justice society of America was before the justice league right or like and alternate earth league

AmpLvX

wait so doesn't the whole cat thing explain why he was wearing a suit when he first met vandal he can travel through time

Thomas_Stilinski

Seeing beast boy like that hit on a personal level

Anderson Lake(The Bleach)

They already introduced that women on Apokilips that you were talking about you might have just forgotten, that was Big Barda.

Arknightoni
>>74687381

AGAIN it is still fucked up no matter how you look at it. If I were in this situation I would've flat out told her no simply cause she lied and withheld her goal from me. For fucks sake they were all going to say yes anyway and all for different reasons.

LeFlaneur
>>74693418

Yeah they’re just another set of magic based heroes used for the situation, but the way they arrived and behaved was odd and made it feel like they were covert Legionnaires.

Kollie123
>>74699437

Yeah kinda a bummer considering how much I’ve been waiting for her to get some screen time

Indiah

The woman from Apokilips is called Big Barda she is Granny's right hand woman one last thing the two people that pop out I Believe one of then is the Egyptian Goddess that cured the blue beetle scarab in season 2 or made the spell to cure the scarabs.

Mal
>>74702317

I don't think that the plan from the beginning was to sacrifice the kids to the helmet. when the stranger said that Vandal didn't cause this but an act of love did, and they showed Z hesitating then calling them her best students, I think that was when she decided to try and get fate to rotate between them. Still fucked up, but I dont think she planned this from the start.

Blackbulls6

That wasn't her. That was Big Barda, not Mary Marvel

Deric Jackson

I actually like what they're doing with Beast boy, even though I will admit a team full of heroes probably would be able to sniff out depression from a mile away. I think what he's going through makes sense, I've been there. It's like nothing matters anymore so why should you even try. You don't want to move, you don't want to speak to anyone. You want to be alone. Not everything needs a character arc and I don't think this does. Depression is hard to beat and I appreciate the studio for letting it sit and fester and feel real. To me at least.

None None
>>74719681

The problem is that whether or not it feels real, it's not entertaining to watch and it doesn't feel naturally incorporated into the plot, since Beast Boy has fuck-all to do with anything for the past 9 episodes. You could have shown him two or three times and gotten the same message across. We don't need to check in on how depressed Beast Boy is every single episode when there's cooler shit going on. Like, can you imagine if back in season 1, we had to check in with Zatara every episode and watch her cry about her father? At some point you'd just stop sympathizing with her and turn it into a goddamn drinking game.

MaybeNextTime

Cobra Kai mondays are gonna be back next week? 👀

Deric Jackson
>>74719681

Except for in each episode we see a different aspect of how depression affects his life which helps make it a little bit dynamic. Sure it might not be as cool as saving the world but I enjoy and would rather have the studio have little checks here and there for beast boy weekly to accurately portray it. If you don't like it skip it. Tbh that's been my favorite parts in each episode and the thing i look forward to seeing how it resolves more than over done saving the world stakes that I don't care for. Also if Zantana was done like this and then we saw how she bounced back I would've loved it all the same.

Chimpman

I'm annoyed they're gonna bring Superboy back but they won't bring back Wally. Bro, give me the true Wally West. Faster than Barry and the true Flash. It really feels like Greg Weissman doesn't really like Wally West and is telling the fans to just get over it and like that he's dead. Yet they'll bring back Superboy because is only permanent when it involves the possibility of the speed force.

Devin B
>>74719681

His team did try to reach out to him when he first got back but he's been dismissing them like he just dismissed his girl. There's only so much they can do when he's acting that way plus they're busy running his team so they can't check in on him that often.

Michael Pamon

I’m pretty sure someone’s said it already, but that was Big Barda on Apokolips. She’s one of Granny’s Furies, the one that Superman saved. Completely unrelated to Mary. Also this is awesome what they’re doing with Mary because in Final Crisis she became a slave to Desaad.

Michael Pamon

Bruh if they make Conner this universe’s Deadman I’m gonna flip my shit

Earphone Jack

I have mixed feelings about them all taking turns wearing Dr. Fate's helmet. I understand where Roshi is coming from if Zatanna's plan was to do that from the very beginning when she took on protegees and should have asked them before hand, but I also understand where Sheera is coming from because that was literally the only way to free her Dad and it could have developed into a plan later. Plus, it was not forced because Traci and Khalid could have said no and she would have accepted it, and she included herself in the equation. It's not just going to be them wearing the helmet, but her as well. In my opinion, it would have been more fucked up if she did that without including herself in the mix. So, it's fucked up, but it also isn't. It's a very morally grey area. And I wholeheartedly agree that Mary DID NOT need a turn wearing Dr. Fate's helmet. Because if she would have put that helmet on, forget Nabu not wanting to release her, Mary, herself, wouldn't have taken the helmet off due to her addiction to power. And now Granny Goodness is manipulating her due to her power addiction. Mary and Garfield are the ones that broke my heart this episode. And here I thought it was going to be Zatara lol.

ComputerWiz309

Cobra Kai Season 4 is out y’all gonna react?

Jonatan Tercero
>>74734419

I really hope it don’t affect other shows like 86 and Ass Class. Cobra Kai the only show I know that was getting 3 drops a day smh . Show some love to the other shows 😒

Reckless Company

finally i knew connor was alive but now i need to know what the hell the legion purpose was on mars cuz connor is trap so they didnt help him so what did they do also zatana better be careful low key trying people in villains she so savage now

Ranginald Vagel

I fucking hate Fate so much he’s just like his dad but less friendly

Yanpo
>>74734419

They were dropping so much Cobra Kai in order to finish up season 3 before 4 dropped. I think they'll do no more than 1 per week from this point forward. 2 at the most.

Dark Danny
>>74732365

I don’t know why. He usually keeps his word. Rossi keeps asking why don’t they just not put on the helmet but the problem with that, they always end up needing him and they don’t keep there word

Jaime Ruiz

Cobra Kai cobra Kai cobra Kai

Quinton Campbell

Low key, I'd ride for Savage ⚔ lol buddy got the gift of gab. Also, new season of Cobra Kai was epic!! Cant wait for you guys to react

Chuzo

nooo roshi that wasnt mary on apokalips that was big barda they look similar ik

Sheldon Coltherst

The Justice Society was a superhero team like back in the 70s or 80s from their timeline and the bus driver like he's old and remember that Clarion joined the bus like season 1 episode 3 and they've been floating through time and space and Doctor Fate only joy and the Justice League like around midseason when Clarion split the Earth

Jay Voorhees

Damn Lupa you don’t Know Big Barda just joking you don’t have to know not the most important thing in the world

Jay Voorhees
>>74727700

Feel your pain Wally gets screwed in everything at least I have old justice league cartoon and his speed feats in the comics

Jay Voorhees

Sheera you are correct it became a thought later, at 23:00 Phantom Stranger talks about that specifically. Ppl in the comments trying to correct something that wasn’t wrong if they actually watched the episode. Keywords: “Inciting Incident” “Mere Contemplation of an Act of Love”

Simbaa

I'm wondering if the title's spell out 'Invitation to Kryptonian Jail' or something along those lines - because isn't Krypton's Jail the Phantom Zone itself?

Deon Watson
>>74735500

I think they were originally there to save Superman because remember if they didn't take out the satellite the Superman and Martian Manhunter would've been there and if they were there they were tried to stop the bomb Conner would still be weak so Superman would do what Conner did so the Kryptonite that was on the bomb would have killed Superman which is with the other people were trying to prevent so they destroyed the satellite to keep them from there

James Van De Weert
>>74684573

I don't like that, I'd rather they actually focus on Zatanna a bit more because she is a genuinely interesting character. I don't like how she is sidelined in her own arc and that the ending is the only thing we actually get of her, it just makes the previous episodes kinda bland. Just my opinion

Krispin
>>74684573

I feel you on that level too actually. We got a backstory and visit to Mars for Megan, a backstory and sister story for Tigress, but for Z, eh idk.

MetsuMonsta
>>74749052

But how can you say that for sure when Zatanna refused to answer the question? That alone gives ppl watching all the doubt in the world regardless of the context of the keywords. You could be right at the end of the day but until Zatanna says it with her own mouth, she looks very guilty

Simbaa

Also good catch on Mary being on Apokolips in a year's time - its definitely hinting at her becoming a villian

Preston Bryant

I thought that person we saw on Apokolips was Big Barda we haven’t seen her in the show yet have we?

Rocksolo

the justice society has something to do with Stargirl

Yanpo
>>74749052

She didn't answer cause she wasn't sure if she was doing the right thing, and didn't feel comfortable justifying her idea.

Jay Voorhees
>>74749052

Yanpo thank you because clearly the show explaining it to ppl is too hard for them to comprehend🤦🏾‍♂️🤣

Spriggz

Looks like the kid was finally able to become a doctor. His parents would be so proud!

CJ Dennis
>>74681039

What's wired about that scene where she hesitate before calling them "her best students" is that they weren't talking about Fate or anything so how was anyone supposed to figure out that that's what that ment. Also, again if this wasn't Zatanna's plan all along then why didn't she answer Khalid's direct question and they don't show the flash back to that until after Kahlid puts on the helmet. Overall, I just think it could been handled better if that was the intention.

Mufasa's illegitimate Son
>>74727700

I think they'll eventually bring Wally back - ever since that episode of Zatanna and Megan tricking Artemis's mind into believing she was seeing Wally's spirit, I feel like they'll make it come back around. Idk, I'm just hoping for the best, I feel your pain tho

Art of Trolling

You guys should check out Titans on HBO max. Your reactions to that Fuckery would be hillarious

Joshua

This has to be the best season so far. The story is ridiculous. also lupa i see you with the locs . i just 2 stranded

CJ Dennis
>>74680172

You bring up that Cartoon Network tries to appeal to young kids, but there was actually a time when they were trying to appeal to older audiences, particularly in the earlier days of Toonami and the animes they bought. Heck even the Powerpuff Girls movie was made more serious because as Craig McCracken puts it "they were trying to appeal to ages 25 and up".

Chimpman
>>74948819

I don't know about best so far. It's definitely better than season 3 by a longshot but you're making a giant reach.

Krispin

Idk. This episode seems to imply that Mary turns dark. Since Nabu is the one that takes control over the host body, Mary probably should’ve been the one to wear the helmet, thereby avoiding her flip sides (if only temporarily I suppose)

Brandon Gibbs

Superboy is ALIVE!!!! Now the question is how will they get him bacK?

I don’t get why the disembodied spirit thing was used for Superboy instead of Wally. What about the bomb caused that? They could’ve brought the speed force into existence by having Wally’s spirit running around in the void at the beginning and end of space/time where Klarion was traveling.

Sheera kept contradicting herself in her argument. First she's saying it's okay because they agreed to the plan. But then says if they new that they would end up as Fate lackeys then they wouldn't have agreed to learn under Zatana. The entire premise is that she tried to impress Nabu with her students and took advantage of their trust in her that she's built up through out their time together just to free her father. Sheera is just proving Roshi's point that Zatana basically took her relationship with her students as an opportunity to used them for her own selfish reasons, even if that wasn't the initial reason she took on students.
