Good observation on Sheera's part for noticing the theme of people sacrificing the few for the longevity of their land/village/people. Life is sacred. Life is precious. And because of that, people are being forced to use other people's lives to pay the rent on "Prosperity." A human's precious life is the only currency that can be used to have it and keep it up.

This show is really good! Just like Ranking of King, it turns out to be a good discovery for me. I would recommend Magi Labyrinth of magic to watch next! There is also Saiki K, but I think it could maybe be a duo reaction with My Love Story since they're both slice of life. I heard a lot of Stein Gates recommendation too, looks cool!
