SixPathTobi

Sheera with the theme hair🥶

Darius Mims

YOOOO THIS IS BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER! Thank you for posting today ! ( I’m turned 21 today btw hahaha)

McDaniel, McDaniel

If you noticed it shows in the third and fourth episodes the black panther goddesses as a statue

Jaime Ruiz

I think it would be great if Konshu comes back and has Marc release all the other gods so they can rebel against the current regime. A bunch of idiot ass leaders. That way we have more Avatars to fight. Also that intro scene with Layla was fucking awful... she also needs to gt her shit together. Got Marc shot like god damn man. Im just trying to see Moon Knight fuck ppl up.

Curtis Rice

The hippo was mentioned in the first episode. It was the stuffed toy at his job.

Rex Perez

Been waiting all day for this reaction

Smash Bran'Discootch

Bruh....Google Earth does not have that feature. Because it's Google EARTH.

Jak The Rifter

Your guys' content is some of the very few things I look forward to watching on a weekly basis. Thanks for the uploads

LeFlaneur

Favourite part was the tomb. honestly the psych ward part wasn’t the best execution of the All Just a Dream trope. I’m curious to hear about everyone’s favourite example of an all just a dream episode/movie.

LeFlaneur

They left the real nigga alter in his sarcophagus?! RACISM !

dimmywitty68

That’s the hippo they teased in ep 1 in the gift shop

Bry Chi

Khonshu got added to the wall of fucked around and found out

Ranginald Vagel

Roshi gotta stop killing the others in hypotheticals you could make a compilation at this point, with a death counter in the double digits

Guav

Oh shit mfs found Iskandar. Time to get that summoning circle ready

WolfEatZombies

If these Egyptian Gods are becoming a problem just send in Gorr the God Butcher. He's supposedly already busy dealing with the Greek ones before we see him 😂

faded

Waited for this

Cyrus_tha_Virus

Bro yesss Lupa said it was like darkness 2 that’s exactly what I thought when I watched this episode 😂

Kisuke01

So many things to say about this episode 1. I was with Sheera thought it was in his butt 2. She said he got with her because of a guilty conscience more like a guilty Khonshu (I'll walk myself out) 3. When he had the Axe and y'all questioned him he basically turned into Kratos

Redu

the mind fuck in that last 1/3

MaybeNextTime

I'm here for Lupa's jump scares. 💀😂

Shiroja

fix (a running rope) around a cleat, rock, pin, or other object, to secure it. secure (a climber) with a belayed rope. "he belayed his partner across the ice Yes I had to look up what "belay" meant

Bazil

'He got shot 2 times. There is still a third personality left.' Does sheera think mental illness works like a super power 💀 Jokes aside that's why I don't like Moon Knight having powers or at least it explicitly being mentioned that he has powers because people start assuming that his very real mental illness is just one of his super powers

Artdysmal

Iskandar came all the from fate to show moon knight some love he must have found okyanus

Lola

Lmao they're tasting Roshi's justice: everyone is left behind

Bazil

My theory is that Steven was 'born' around the same time that Marc left Layla. People with Dissociative Identity Disorder sometimes come up with multiple personalities to cope in certain situations. Kind of like personalities being formed to help the base personality. So when Marc moved to the UK his mind came up with Steven, a British guy who could easily blend into society.

Quan

The end of that episode reminded me of legion so much thats another show you guys might like

KevinFromNewYork

Nigga you digging mad deep into a comment about a fictional character in a tv show. Relax and stop getting offended.

Smash Bran'Discootch

No, that was absolutely not ammit. Ammit is more of a demon than a god. Ammit is the Crocodile looking creature that devours the hearts of the wicked in the underworld. When you stand for judgement between life and death, your heart is weighed against a feather on a set of scales. If your heart is heavier than the feather, Ammit devours your heart. The hippo looking goddess is most likely the fertility goddess. Yall didn't learn about Egypt in high school? I'm not talking shit, I just always suspected my history teacher was super into Egypt and taught us a lot of stuff not in the curriculum. Also, I'm gonna be really mad if Sheera is right because i went, "WTF bruh?" when she was saying that only the third personality is left because Marc got shot twice. I was thinking, "Uh, sheera...that is not how mental health works. What, you crazy bro? **BLAM BLAM** You sane yet?"

Connor Grynol

Yeah, Amit is a crocodile I think the hippo was a different god. Don't really know why she's there though.

Grelk

you dont get it sheera is NEVER wrong to the comments.

Kwaku Afari

I too thought they were going to check the truck

LeFlaneur

It’s not uncommon in comics to play mental disorders as superpowers

MaybeNextTime

Ahhh. I'm stoked to see Moon Knight trolls Spider-Man using his personalities on the big screen. 💀

Vaelance

Marc is definitely the original. Steven's whole existence living in London and working at a gift shop is incredibly low stakes and wouldn't require a whole lot of (non-split personality) prior commitment. Meanwhile Marc is a whole ass secret agent, with a wife and real history. The real curveball would be that if actually personality #3 is the original and Marc has just been in the drivers seat for years (until now) and he doesn't even know

Ren

😂😂😂 that’s not how DID work, niggas w/ different personalities don’t have extra lives.

britt

i need y’all to watch some horror movies like conjuring, insidious etc those would be hilarious

Erica Collins

Here me out........what if......Marc is just crazy af & we've been following his delusions believing they were true lmao 😭😭

Erica Collins

Also that was not Ammit lol Ammit is a crocodile not a Hippo

Carlos

That Hippo gotta be the lil girl from the Museum.

J

these villians really need to learn how guns work. You don't need to drive up to them in order to shoot them

Michael Pamon

It’s not Ammit, apparently that’s Taweret, Egyptian goddess of rebirth and fertility.

DxShadow

thats not amet, amet's an alligator.

R'Mani Leavell

I’m disappointed in the lack of reaction from Lupa and Sheera when Roshi said “don’t let him kill you with the bone of his sword” 🤣

Q

i admired the confidence in which sheera stated her 2 bullet theory, but ultimately i lmao. Harrow shot Marc 2 times for good measure lol

シュモーク

Yep. Two bullets is military standard, counter-terrorism units are trained to shoot twice into the head to ensure the target is actually dead. I wouldn't know that if I hadn't read Rainbow Six though as it's not exactly common knowledge.

Deadly Silence

Marc never actually ever said that it wasn't his body, he told Steven after he was done with Khonshu he would disappear from Steven's life. We know Marc had an entire life before he met Khonshu with the mercenary situation. None of that would make sense if Steven was the original because we know absolutely nothing of his life before when we first saw him. Even in the comics Marc was the original and Steven was the alter, don't see how that would've changed here.

rickie woodson

"theres that many" there are like thousands of gods. that is like nothing really lol

Rick Jay

bro we just not gonna talk about how cool sheera's hair has been for the past two or three weeks?

rickie woodson

is this going to be anubis? all black, has the gold collar and is the god of funeral rites and he is performing the funeral rites on that dude.....ooop never mind. just some mummy soldier dude. lame

DaShawn Bell

im surprised no one else is talking about that other coffin that steven and marc passed by in the asylum. the one that was propped up im just gonna assume that was their other personality maybe

rickie woodson

this episode is the personification of mcu bogus and why this show is so bad and BORING. so much nothing is going on. do we really need to see relationship drama and them walking around? you dont show him flying to point a to point b but you show him WALKING for an hour? let get to the PLOT! this whole show is FILLER. should be called marc drama not moon knight cause i dont see him, do you? where is moon knight?!

KushWookieee

You guys might have missed the joke at 10:05 lmao

rickie woodson

double tapping is super common knowledge for folks who read and watch tv a lot. every reaction to a movie or tv show where they shoot once and walk away and the person comes back later "should have double tapped bro"

rickie woodson

this was done so much better in shows like buffy, smallville and charmed. either buffy or smallville did it best. was the WHOLE episode not just sloppily tacked on in the last 10 minutes and focused on the character and acting. sigh SO FREAKING GOOD! if you cant do whedon, leave it be

Beef Gristle Mill

Lupa with the Darkness 2 reference🙏, those games were fire and I'm mad we'll never get a 3rd game.

ActionAdam

Ok SO I'm Egyptian myself, but unfortunately I don't have much knowledge about my ancient ancestors and their philosophies. HOWEVER, I think I might be able to explain the psych ward scene. This might be wrong, but seeing Taweret, the Hippo Goddess of Birth and Heavens, has sparked this theory in me just now. When Ra, the Sun God, makes his way through the du'at (an immaterial, spiritual plain beneath the surface of our reality) during the daily cycle in AE mythology, at one part of the journey I believe there is a resting house for Gods, or perhaps just Ra, to heal up and take care of themselves for the next sun cycle, or to heal up from Apophis idk. Also, I'm not sure if this is confirmed but I believe forgotten Gods were also supposed to live out their days there, kinda like a heaven or afterlife for them. Let's call this place a house of rejuvenation for Gods. It was either Taweret or another similar God who was the caretaker/head nurse of this place. With Marc/Steven being an Avatar of Khonshu and being mortally wounded, it would make sense that he ended up here, being healed and surrounded by familiar faces and important aspects of his life so as to not scare him. So I don't think he was in his mind... Maybe he was in the house of rejuvenation... Inside his mind... Shackled.. And imprisoned in a sarcophagus? Maybe they had to demonstrate their willingness to be resurrected? I mean this entire scene is just fuckshit visualised so I could fall flat on my arse but hey, any other Egyptians or Historians/Archaeologists feel free to build on this or educate my sorry ass before next episode drops!

rickie woodson

nah. thats not the point of all of that stuff from the "real world" being there. its not there cause the illusion is falling apart (its not an illusion at all actually). its to show him that all the things in his delusions come from a point in reality. moon knight is a movie, harrow is his therapist, there lots of egyptian artifacts/trinkets in harrow's office, everyone in his "delusion" is a patient. he is either in the afterlife/way station which is most likely since tawaret is there, or just in his mind as he waits to be ressurrected

rickie woodson

nope. thats tawaret. ammit is a crocodile headed goddess

normanzeedoorman

What someone else said in the comments: Ammit has the head of a crocodile. The goddess at the end is Taweret, the Egyptian deity of childbirth and fertility, with an appearance of a hippo. I think she might help Marc/Steven coming up.

Sthuthukile

The way Layla fought off that thing had my mouth hanging open, damn. I wouldn't have lived through that

Vin

The fact that they thought that goddess was Ammit made me face palm all good tho

Nesko_Pie

I’m guessing you’ve never read a comic book within the last 50 years. In the silver age of comics is when comic publishers realized that the stories that sell best are the ones that get into the interpersonal relationships between the characters. Just fighting with no stakes is boring and it’s easy to lose interest.

These Plums

Roshi not knowing the difference between a hippo and a croc

Ara Araragi

It was nice of the show to caption Lupa at 22:46

KushWookieee

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure in Egypt people saw the sunset as Death and the sunrise as Rebirth and hippos were a symbol of that to them. When they'd submerge down into the water it represented death and when they'd come back up rebirth, so they were sacred.

Crow's Nest

When watching Moon Knight I wasn't expecting having read the percy jackson books to be useful but when I saw Taweret I instantly remembered her being a nurse in the books

Devin B

I don't think Sheera literally meant that he was gonna be revived or anything like that but the two bullets was basically a symbolism of Steven and Marc being "killed" off so that the third personality could take over.

Devin B

This whole thing about which one is the primary is confusing me a bit cause everything we've seen so far proves that Marc is the primary cause of his life of being a mercenary and being married for a little while but just the fact we've seen Steven calling his mom is throwing me off. I'm convinced that Steven isn't actually talking to his mom and is pretending to call her as like a defense mechanism.

Devin B

Steven/Marc going into their subconcious and interacting with each other reminds me of Jane from Doom Patrol interacting with her other personalities.

Chuzo

That other coffin is definitely the 3rd personality thats been straight up slaughtering people so far like in the last ep with the Egyptian guys

BZD

Forgot this was a thing! A welcome surprise.

Chuzo

Also that tawaret the goddess of fertility, PROTECTION, and childbirth Ammit has a crocodile head

Chuzo

Ammit is also the god of destruction I believe so yk that mf is evil

Arsean Wilbon

Ammit is a crocodile 🐊 that was a hippo

Lychee

The hippo is Taweret. Remember in the first episode when Steven was saying fun facts about Taweret? Ammit is a croc

Taylor Moon

makin alot of guesses and takin alot of L's xD

BZD

Loved the reaction. Great scream from Lupa, really interesting predictions from Sheera, and Bernard was cool as always.

BZD

I just realized that those cupcakes in the mind scene were referencing the cupcake truck. Man those cupcakes looked good.

Quintin

I feel like Marc's partner that killed her father is the 3rd personality. The 3rd personality has been killing everyone in sight and Marc said that his "partner" executed everyone at the dig site. Also, Harrow claims Marc killed her father which, if the killer is his 3rd personality, is kinda true. It would also explain why Marc for years hasn't been able to tell his wife who killed her father. Imagine explaining: "It was another me in my mind that killed your dad but it wasn't me". Finally, Marc's partner shooting him could be him trying to kill himself after the mass murder and failing.

Gmac paddiewac

the 3rd person just wears Black Air Force 1s and a white moon knight suite

Clouddius Cozz’ee

Moon Knight with a bag over his head, a crescent moon on top with rope n blood holding the janky mask and a straight jacket. Just put that imaginary in ya brain.

Kirbotome

Yea steven isn't actually talking to his mom. If you go back to Ep 2, you'll hear Layla ask steven, "You're talking to your mom again?" or "You patched things up again with your mom?" or some variation of that. Suggesting that Steven is most likely either calling his mom's voicemail or isn't actually calling her lol

Randle Dandle

bro, they had foreshadowed zombie guardians with the heka priest bit practically 10 seconds before.

Randle Dandle

cannot wait for Travis bickle alter to make his grand debut.

Charlie baker

so if i remember right moon knights 3 personalities are marc spector, steven grant and brian langsley but brian is usually just a new york cab driver not a murderer. so the final personality is probably moon knight itself

Charlie baker

it was actually a big distinguisher between marvel and its competitors that the characters real life drama bled into their superhero lives.go watch some dc slop bozo

Chuzo

The 3rd personality’s name is Jake Lockley and he’s not a murderer but he is by far the most brutal out of the 3 he does what he has to do

Mufasa's illegitimate Son

This episode felt very much Tomb Raider/The Mummy, and I loved every second of it. They killed this 🔥

Malcolm Washingon

Did I just see fuckin Tawaret?!?! I went on a whole mythology binge while ago and learned about some of the Ancient Egyptian Gods and fam that looks like a representation of fuckin Tawaret? How many gods chilling in this nigga head? Does each personality have one? Is he bouta become hippo Knight?

Dude559

bitch...Ammit is a croc this is a Hippo. ALSO Sheera yer theories be BS mate. They gotta stop fucking us with that third personality dangit

Dude559

I thought Set was the god of destruction? As far as i know Ammit isn't even a god but a demon

MystoriUnwritten

Is the third personality Lockley? Because lol if it is, good personality, knowing the comics makes most of this make sense. I just don't know if they will keep all of it the same so it also makes for a pretty fun adventure too.

Chuzo

Yea thats my fault she’s the god of divine retribution and is most definitely a god and not a demon

HK

The hyppo isn't Amit remeber amit is a croco the hyppo is the godess of rebirth, regeneration stuff like that i forgot her name tho. but damn that was mind blowing episode

Alex

Yugioh!!!

faded

That doesn’t make sense, you got some things wrong. Marc is the real personality. That’s literally why the moon god called Steven a parasite in the first episode. Could write more but there are already good points above.

Red

Btw this show has 3 directors ad each have done a specific episode in tune to that personality

Sthuthukile

But then Marc doesn't seem to have any recollection of Jake. In the previous episode, he thought Steven had killed those guys and was just as confused.

Senjioh

Im dead the end scene I was not expecting that lol

KapZachlan

Did y’all ever watch Legion? If you like this, you’ll be into that

Joker416

They have stated multiple times Marc is the real personality. Why do she keeps doubting it. Great reaction

Rocksolo

You is sad The fact that you wanted to get in this conversation so bad it’s funny this been over with since last night why are you in the comments and I know I’m wrong he's wrong to stay out other people conversation

Candy

isint amit a crocodile not a hipo ?

Gabriel Sanchez

BRO PLEASE ammit is a croc remember the first episode where the hippo goddess came out in toy form and steven said her name lmao

Gabriel Sanchez

whats funny to me when reading this was i got this flashback of reading the Kane chronicles (the egyptian percy jackson series lmao) and legit believe if i recall correctly that Ra was an old mental patient in some psych ward and they rescued him from that lmao so its super cool you said that!!!

Tyger Burch

Yes, she is. This is Taweret, the Egyptian goddess of fertility and childbirth. Like Gabriel said, it is the one Steven mentions in episode one. The hippo toys he has to sell at the museum.

Tyger Burch

See now that's dope. I knew all the shows used multiple directors but using three in this one is a unique touch that even ties to the story and how it may be perceived by the different ALTs and not just each directors' strengths.

Tyger Burch

Two things that stood out to me is that Marc probably kept his word and threw this down that hole ("I'll throw us off a cliff") and that these two ALTs are so far removed from each other that they even scream differently! LOL

Kingmakaii

Roshi anytime he start losing “It’s a prank bro” 😭😂

Tormain

This entire show kinda reminds me of Legion because it touches om some similar things but the hospital part especially.

PeachBrune

I think all the asylum stuff at the end was just things/people from reality being twisted into the fantasy in his mind so the movie being steven grant was just a delusion of what steven actually is in reality. For the other Alters I feel like it implied in a previous ep that steven was around in the past when marc was living his married life, he just had more active control of it , so I feel like they haven't totally confirmed if Marc sees himself as the original or anything, random addition but he says "give me THE body" a lot instead of "my body", Idk if its a purposeful choice but you could interpret that as he doesn't view it as totally his own or originally his own.

Derick

i think its not just in his mind because after he ran out the room they was still talking to each other

Derick

and at the end that was taweret (another god)

Asellian

fuck u doin out here frank XD that was nice lol

Burning Talons

when you repel someone at the bottom holds the rope to put tension if you lose control to stop you from going splat...thats what belaying is

Lil Uzi Vert

There's 100% a 3rd personality. Otherwise, there'd be no point in showing the 3rd sarcophagus

Cody

Yeah remember when Steven was in control and he blacked out and killed those guys and Marc asks "Steven what did you do?" And Steven is confused and says he didn't do anything. Maybe it's like a dormant piece of konshu or it's his evil "partner" that shot him

Thomas_Stilinski

I swear during that scene where she confronted Marc I kept saying "NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR THIS!"

Väiski

cant wait to see Jake Lockley

Jnutt913

All I’m saying is that if I know someone helped clap my dad, I’m not about to be in a hurry to go anywhere else with them lol.

Malachi Way

So I’m on TikTok and I’m watching @justthenobodys nd it’s like the first one of this moon knight theory abt the show being with in a show I mean it makes sense https://vm.tiktok.com/TTPd419sND/

Derick

There is a crew member seen at 18:23 Bottom Right btw Episode 4

KRONE

"do you know the way" monster

KRONE

ammit is the crocodile

R3APER

That whole final part of the episode reminded me of Legion season 1

st

Sheera: ... In his butt? I thought the same damn thing LMFAOOO

Drake Rage

Nah dude, first thing I thought of was from Pirates of the Caribbean, "Belay the order" or some shit, Pirate lingo, haha. I think Blackbeard said it.
