so there was a green lantern show came on the same week as young justice and both ended in 2 season. but since young justice came back and the green lantern show still cancelled. they continued the story line and made the green lantern show cannon. check out the show when yah get a chance.

I really enjoyed this episode, if for no other reason than the fact that they were able to continue Green Lantern the animated series right down to bringing in the writer, show runner, and music of that show. It's cool because gltas was canceled the same time YJ was, but while YJ was brought back GLTAS wasn't. I'll admit that people who aren't familiar with gltas may not understand who Razor is, but based on this reaction I guess people will still get the idea even if they aren't familiar with it. I didn't think they would mention Aya, but they did and I wish Hal Jordan could have been in on this. Fun fact: Jason Spisak the voice of Wally West and Forager is the voice of Razor as he also played him in GTAS, same with Kevin Michael Richardson who voices green lantern Killawog. Lastly, speaking of Wally I do think that was just Superboy imagining him one because of how Wally disappeared when Connor was running, two why would he be in the phantom zone, and three if Connor had actually saw Wally in the zone the moment would be a lot more impactful and play out differently, and fourth why wouldn't Wally have stuck around Cornner while he is there.

So the guy said that when he first put the red lantern on, it felt like acid was being injected into his veins. Thats because the red lantern ring literally turns your blood into acid. The best red lantern of all, of course, is DEX-STARR! He's a red lantern cat who is probably one of the most badass characters in DC history. Id watch a whole series surrounding Dex-Starr.

I loved this episode so much and how it paid homage to Green Lantern: The Animated Series! It was so good seeing Kilowog and Razor on my screen again! I remember the days when Young Justice was coming on Cartoon Network and they would play Green Lantern: The Animated Series and then Young Justice afterwards (or the other way around) on Saturday mornings for the DC hour block!

This episode is weirdly a continuation of Green Lantern the Animated Series. A completely different show that was cancelled after one season and ended on a cliffhanger. Who knew a decade later, the story would continue in Young Justice.

But aside from that this is the second time they’ve mentioned earth having 3 green lanterns in this season and both times it’s been kinda brought up as a “issue” no one’s looking at or bringing up. I wonder how that’s gonna come into play. Also where’s Atrocitus? Doesn’t he get notified whenever a new red lantern awakens or ring activates since he’s like the leader of that whole faction? Why didn’t he pull up with all that rage being thrown? And lastly if Wally is in the phantom zone and they bring him out the writers better make him at least faster than Impulse this time. He’s supposed to be the fastest speedster in history but I’ll let that slide with the whole Barry has more experience excuse for now. It actually makes sense that Jay (old flash) is 102. His powers allow him to age alot slower than normal so that's why he's still alive and running. Also, he was apart of The Justice Society of America that fought during WW2 so yeah...he's old as hell lol

Wait a sec, isn't the Red/Blue lantern the same Red Lanturn character from that CGI Green Lanturn show that was airing with Young Justice way back in the day? He was voiced by the same guy who does Wally too. He basically had a Prince Zuko arc where he was a constant antagonist but then slowly converted to the good side with a struggle with his rage and his love for a female character. Also, all Flashes have long lifespans due to how their atoms function, and the people they physically spend time with the most ( their immediate family mostly ) also have long life spans due to second hand constant contact.

razer is an original character from the green lantern animated series so no not a thing. BUT in the comics folks like hal jordan have held multiple green lantern rings and have held different colored rings at different times. john stewart was indigo for minute. i think kyle rayner has held all the rings. he was the white lantern which if im remembering correctly allowed him to simulate all the spectrums but one at a time. green lantern comics are so good pre 2020

Firs thing hte Green Lantern Animated series is a prequel to this episode. You meed Razor there along with Kilowog. It's a reaaally good show. Also I'm unsure how Razor can just take the red ring on and off, because usually it LITERALLY replaces the wearers heart and keeps the body functioning.. So when the ring is taken off the user dies. There have been exceptions in the past but none of those were as easy as "lemme just take this ring off". They def took some liberties in this episode regarding that.

Razer seems to be a particularly hardy individual, even without a working ring. I can see him surviving the removal of a red ring. Blue Lanterns also seem capable of healing magic. It's possible that whatever damage removing the red ring causes could be healed by putting on a blue ring. I'm just throwing guesses. I'm basing this on everything I saw in this episode.

I love the fact that the showrunners just paid respects to the GL Animated series by Reintroducing Razor as a Blue Lantern. The GL series ended with Razor going off into space and then being pursued by a blue ring.

The imagery of this and the newest episode of today means anything. it would be CRAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZZZYYYYYYYYYYYYY if they decided to do Blackest night or basically any of the major crossover events involving the lanterns. I can see it though, after the huge war against/with ZOD, them having a happy reunion, then the blackest night prophecy shows up and we see Black hand. That would go crazy, but that's more DC animated vs Young Justice. Plus, we dont have significant ties to the hawk people (even though they hate the GL's) or Firestorm, which is a big deal to have, and also no Kyle Rainer.

Yeah, technically justice league action is to because Aya is in that also. I think it's loose cannon though because it could be just the characters that are cannon or it could be a version of the same events but not fully cannon. (Just depends on the writers)
