Damn. I think the "me vs the world" played a factor too in season 1 that's why I was hooked. After that, it seems bland now that he's buddy buddy with everyone. It's ok though

The show is called the rising of The shield hero so he started off losing everything and everyone hating him but by the end of the season everybody likes him now so can you still call it rising of The shield hero when he's already on top

yeah after the beginning shield hero is just a basic isekai. It doesnt have a new interesting idea like re zero and its not polished up like mushoku tensei, everyone just wants more of what they got in season 1.

The ending of this ep even proves that he still doesn’t trust random ass people he don’t know. He just doesn’t need to be hostile towards everyone like he was in season 1 now that his name is clear

Nah the whole argument of the Queen Filolial was the waves go off all at once but because the one Kingdom hogged all of the heros and they didn't go around all of the other Kingdoms everyone else has just had to deal without the help of the heros

Honestly, Ost seems a TINY bit sus, but at the same time it's not really that far out to believe her, and it's extremely plausible that she is legit on their side. The only thing is that us viewers have the opening visuals, in which she looks way more sus. But the characters in the show don't have the op, in fact there's a lot of things they don't have that we viewers have. That said, idgaf. I'm not a character in the anime, and I'm gonna simp for Ost because GODDAMN SHE'S FINE. She's my #3 waifu of the season so far (After Yor from SxF and Desumi from Love After World Domination).

I mean that was probably their goal. I haven't read the Source material but I've heard that this arc was the slowest / least interesting so it wouldn't surprise me if we were just getting the meat and potatoes of it and then move on

You can tell how rushed this season is, with how they randomly dropped in Rishia's backstory. I really hope they don't do the same with Eclair's, especially with how important she is to Naofumi's overall story.

Just in case anyone hasn't mentioned this yet guys, but yes Therese, Larc and Glass did go back to their world in the waves during the end of season 1. But remember that there are other waves around the world that take place at different times, the heroes we are following are synched up to the hourglass for Melromarc, so they only have the timer for the Melromarc Waves. All of the waves connect to the world that Glass and her friends live in, so could have they just jumped in through a wave from another location and made their way to where Naofumi is. I won't say why they went back so quickly though, just that all is not as it seems.
