The pacing on this show isjust horrible. Like bruh come on, we only got short clips of BeastBoy acting like an asshole. We didn't get to see him struggle or feel depressed they just showed the negativity. I love the message they want to give to the audience but the pacing is just abysmal. No one cares Rocket's son, no one cares about Orion, No one cares about Ma' alafuck or whatever. They can't just keep flipping without any relative transitions or pacing. It just makes it seem like Im watching a random plots cut and mixed together like a youtube compilation

That scene with Garfield and Black Canary really made me cry. Garfield is literally blaming himself for everyone he’s lost in his life. His depression was truly a build up and Conner’s “death” was the one that pushed him over the edge. Him going to see Black Canary was what he needed because I knew she was the one that was going to get to the bottom of his depression. She’s really good at her job.

I think the sphere has some strong disconnect from things on the outside. Assuming the sun eaters work like nano bots running off a wifi connection, the second the sphere closes, the wifi gets blocked and the ones left inside deactivate. That or there's too few that managed to get inside aren't enough to be a threat to anything. Prolly have trackers tho which would be smart.

Yeah I agree the production value as well as the plot has been declining recently. Idk what's going on exactly. They keep introducing more and more plot lines without finishing current ones, I guess maybe that's the point of building a "DC animated universe". But i feel without fleshing it out properly it falls flat. Also the amount of still images in this season like lol, their budget must of dropped a lot. At this point I'm watching because there are still some plot lines I'm really interested on, but im also watching to support the gang.

@Emo The budget dropped cause they don't have a toy company backing them anymore and the intrical plotting is done in a way to make this world feel like a comic book, as they have been doing since season one. I will say this season is much better handled than the last. Season 3 wasn't awful but it suffered way more pacing issues and the animation wasn't as smooth.

@CJ I mean I haven't seen season 3 in a while but I don't remember them having anywhere near as much still images/ scenes where characters just nod their head up and down and do nothing as season 4 has. It really is unfortunate that the budget went down, but it is what it is

This season past the Mars arc is trash! For an arc that's supposed to be about a character introduced halfway into Season 1 Rocket has the least lines, least presence, least development. They dedicated an episode to Razer instead of investing in another Green Lantern show. Disappointed.
