I dunno for sure, but I think they were still treated the same and grew up the same since no one knew that Ivis' plan got undone. I think everyone involved back then would still believe (and thus push) the idea that Misha is not a real person... and I am guessing that they would have grown up the same because their source is essentially their soul, but just because their soul went back in time doesnt mean that they would also keep their memories? I dunno. That is my guess on the matter xD

I'm pretty thats the case cause as soon as those two were separated I doubt anyone really checked on Misha's condition cause no one thought it was possible to fix her. So even though Anos fixed her they basically still went through the same events up until the present.

So what happened with the time travel, is that originally one source (soul) was split into the two girls. He took the sources of the present two girls and put them in the past. So the two sources got split into the two girls making four sources. The magic was set to combine two sources after 15 years. So when it came back to the present the four sources combined into two sources and that allowed them to live. The only thing that changed was the number of sources. Everyone else was still under the same assumption that she was still gonna disappear after 15 years so the same events still happened.

IIRC they simply went back in time and fused their cores in a way that would make them both have a source that belonged solely to them. This combination would make it so that they are both their own entities instead a singular being split in two. Not really any other time changing. Same life and all that, just now she wouldn’t die on the 15th birthday

this is my understanding of what happened: their souls went back in time, combined with their past souls and then brought back to the present and combined a gain. so two went back, joined with two to make four and came back to the present and became two again but now each soul is whole instead of half. so its not that they were sent back to RELIVE their life and change the past. the only thing that is changed is the spell. everything else that has happened up to episode 3 still happened.

Tbh I don't think there is never a reason to not watch saiki K + it fits the duo format perfectly and its just such a light watch that is really entertaining on top.

He didn't change the actual past, he just sent their sources back in time, so since at the time of conception, there were 4 sources, it combined so each of them have a full set now instead of missing half. So there's no need for them to fuse back together anymore.
