Yes. The first season is a bit lighter and younger skewing but still decent and the second season is much darker and more mature, it's definitely worth a watch 😎.

The way they made M’Comm and Lor so detestable is crazy. There’s been this trend in so many series of making villains understandable or even likeable, but that’s really not the case for those two. I want them to have a a horrible, painful and embarrassing death. The season cannot end with them alive.

All honesty, Megan has many reasons to kill her brother now. He put conner in danger though he did not set the bomb, he did put kryptonite on it to affect Conner and effectively kill him for a time. He aided in all that and she suffered hard with beastboy.. he needs to get brain fucked.

Nah you got it backwards. Megan's brother was the one who set the bomb to kill the Martians but Lor-Zod was the one who secretly put the kryptonite on the bomb cause he knew Conner was gonna be the one to stop it. Either way he definitely needs to go though.

You guys are being harsh on these characters even though it's not a matter of them messing up but the enemy having the upper hand. The Legion rings can only connect with each other so there was no way for someone to wiretap them, Megan's brother was just better at tricking Phantom girl. Also Nightwing and his crew didn't understand the rules of the Phantom Zone but Zod has literally been there for decades training and understanding how everything works.

I was thinking that the whole time, they had no idea how the phantom zone works and that kryptonite wouldn't have an effect so how was that nightwings fault? And there was no way possible for them to know m'comm had buddy's ring. plus I saw someone say the rings only work with people in the legion of super heroes so all bozo had to do was copy the legion boys genetic form or whatever and Phantom girl and the ring would think it's him (I think, someone who actually knows this stuff can correct me if I'm wrong).

This show has made the characters so dumb. "lets go to a red sun planet. superman come with us, aquaman stay behind".......literally the only person whose powers wont work under a red sun, THATS who you take with you? WHY?! not to mention nightwing. how would radiation effect a phantom?

I was annoyed that the Kryptonian was able to stop Zatanna here by covering her mouth... Thing is, that doesn't stop her from being able to use her magic. She just does the backward talk to focus better, but she doesn't have to do that.

they dont have regular jail on krypton, just the phantom zone. zod lead a world wide rebellion, he was going to topple the entire governmental and societal structure of krypton. him and his fellows? HAD TO GO. there are also folks in there who have killed THOUSANDS. and yes, krypton has a red sun, but lets say they put them in a regular jail. zod's followers would just break him out and they can escape to a new world, one with a yellow sun, and wreck havoc. so nahh, to the zone you must go! kryptonians were explorers first so they know about the yellow sun and have mapped most of the universe. they are also very star trek federation, all utopian society so they not going to be all like "well sucks for you earth" but "lets do this for the good of all in the universe"

To be fair, Aquaman did say to the non-metas "forget your gear" and that was BEFORE Nightwing pulled out the Kryptonite. But they was desperate, no harm in trying even if he did forget.

I figured at some point we would see the young justice team in the phantom zone and what they look like there. The detail I noticed is that black hair looks white in the zone and white hair looks black. Speaking of which I'm not sure what the implication of making this version of Zod black are, but I do appreciate that his wife happens to be white instead of making her obligatorily black as well. Anyways some minor notes: one, Conner fighting Aqualad kind of mirrors when they fought in the first episode. Two, I wonder how the team quickly figured out how to communicate privately in the zone. Third, I don't like that Rocket got beat so easily although she is technically just a regular person without that technology belt then again so is Dick and Artemis. Fourth, Oa's science cell looking just like the watchtower I'm sure is probably a budget thing, but hey without a toy company backing you up what can you do. Fifth, we finally see the origin of that picture of the original team. Sixth, I didn't know Tomar-Rea had a son lol and that burning transition in the middle of the episode was neat. Final note, I can already tell that Nightwing much like Zatanna and Rocket is probably not going to get a lot of focus in his own arc as we are nearly at the end of the season.

This episode was probably the darkest they've done. Darker than all of the Halo killings. Than Lobo. Than Klarion's sickening 'child amalgamation' in Season 3 when he faced Zatanna. We basically just witnessed child murder. SMUG child murder. The lack of any conscience from Ma'la'fa'ak was Joker levels of freakishness. And the Joker's not even even shown to BE this dark in this universe! I genuinely felt sick and shivered after Danny was 'fractalized'. I don't care if maybe M'Gann could bring him back; that was just wicked.

Never been against killing super villains, especially in cases where it's clearly war between countries and even more so between planets. I'm only against it when local civilian authorities can take over the judgment and prosecution of the criminal, and just as long as the justice system hasn't been shown to intentionally let villains back out via "technicalities". I'm not fond of the idea of someone having the power to go around murdering random civilians by simply claiming they were criminals. Problem is that this is Young Justice. Which is mostly a family show. Having a discussion on when it's okay to murder in cold blood and when it's not okay would be a challenge even for an adult oriented show.

I wonder if that ending clip is a foreshadowing that we're gonna see Klarion and Vandal Savage get in the middle of all this buffoonery and oddly save the day? That was Klarion's cat on Savage's War World that was stolen from Mongol in Season 2. These last two episodes better bring everyone together against those Kryptonian gangstas. It would just be lame if it they were dealt with in any other way, unless M'Gann goes rogue and 'brain-fries' all of their backsides like she used to do. That would be RIDICULOUSLY satisfying!

To those who think that Roshi and them were too hard on Nightwing's team and their fights, consider this: Just as much as the Kryptonians are experienced military gangsters, this team has had to deal with technically worse because none of the Kryptonians had typical powers. Plus, Nightwing said it himself, they don't have powers. Therefore, he should've instantly known that their weakness would not apply either. This part of the episode was definitely not trash , but it wasn't written all that well. Although, Phantom Girl's reaction made some since because she didn't even know Zod's son had a shape-shifting Martian on his team. Yeesh, poor girl...

The thing with Megan’s brother is nobody has really had a good opportunity or motivation to kill him besides Megan, and she’s obviously going to take a lot of convincing to kill her only white Martian sibling that’s dealt with the same racism she has. It’s a perfectly reasonable explanation, why Saturn Girl couldn’t make it. We don’t know exactly what confluence of factors made Saturn Girl end up in the Phantom Zone. She was overtaxing herself by phasing a dense body on Mars while in extreme pain. They didn’t really recreate the situation.
