1) The new intro is fire🔥 2) I never liked the ending of this because of how unfair it is for Tahomaru. How are you going to have a whole conversation before checking up on your second son who is bleeding out? He didn’t consent to dying with her as penance and he looked terrified when she said she'd be with him forever. I feel bad for him, he's a child. Throughout the series it’s been a recurring theme that Nui would rather die than actually try to save her children. Same with Jukai. They didn't have to die.

to this day I still hate the fact that Tahomaru died FOR NO REASON. The mom and the other guy had time to get him out but nooooo bc the mom wanted to die so bad she dragged him with her. And you'd think that after apologizing she would want to repair the relationship with her sons and live the rest of her life with them as penace but no instead she wanted to die..... I love this show but that ending is just 😭😭😭😭 MY BOY DESERVED TO LIVE AND HYAKKIMARU DESERVED TO BE WITH HIS MOM AND BROTHER AND THAT OTHER GUY (I forgot his name lmao) ANS LIVE THE REST OF THEIR LIVES AS A HAPPY FAMILY

Make a deal with demons, you get clapped. Sucks that he felt he had to do that but he didn't die for 'No Reason'. His story is sad and he redeemed himself to his older brother but he paid the consequences for making that deal.

Seeing the father realize that he sacrificed his son for prosperity but could have had the same or better prosperity with him kinda reminds me of something my grandma used to say: "The devil will have you bargaining for things you were going to get anyway." Anyway, awesome show def one of my favorites now.

That's the only gripe I have with the ending. It's a 9/10, if not for Tahomaru dying it would have been a 10/10.

Imo he died for no reason. Unless this was explained in the manga or somewhere but if I remember correctly the arrow girl was the one who tried to make a deal with the demons not Tahomaru. In fact he was trying to stop her. He didn't want a deal with them like his dad did & then the last thing we saw was the last demon statue tweaking & then it just cuts to the three of them having Hyakkimaru's arms & eyes. Now maybe I read this wrong but maybe when the girl thought that the demons denied her she was wrong & they actually did accept it bc didn't the same experience happen with the dad???? With the wind & all?? & just like Hyakkimaru the demons brought in people who didn't want anything to do with them bc of a deal. Another reason why I think this is bc Tahomaru gave up the eyes pretty easily imo. Idk it just seems to me like if he really asked for the eyes he wouldn't have given them up that easy. Especially since he wanted to save his people and land so freaking bad. Idk that's just how I read it

His heart was blacked out if you looked back at when hyakkimaru said you are lacking the first time, the bottom right is a black hole where his heart would be

When someone's arm is on fire and they don't bother immediately putting that shit out you know they've come to terms with dying, lol. That and the fact that the mom said she would be with the second son forever implies the 3 of them died in the castle. It would have been interesting to see what the original writer would have come up with for an ending. It ended on a decent note but still felt a bit awkward and rushed.

I agree there are some weird episodes, but that's because in manga the story was kind of weird too and that affected the ending. Osamu Tezuka, the mangaka did finish the manga, but at a certain point it was going to get cancel, so he preferred to give a rush ending. Mappa ending is happier than the original. In the manga there are like 50 demons, or more, but at the point when Hyakkimaru fights in the castle he still needs to find other demons, thats why he leaves Dororo.

One thing that's easy to miss was that Hyakkimaru in the end went on the journy to fulfill Mios dream of the golden rice fields (the seeds that he kept in his pouch), which was seen in the final scene on the bridge when Dororo runs towards him, he was surrounden by golden fields of rice.

His death was not about if he deserved it or not. He died because of the choices his father made. He died because Daigo was to lose everything including the son he wanted to be his heir.

His death was his father's fault and that is tragedy here. Daigo's choices led to his entire chosen family being lost. so his preferred son and his wife died when the deal with the demons was broken.

Its not about getting a happy ending but rather a resolution to a plot point. Especially with a character like Tahomaru. Feel free to think what your like but I said what I said.
