Overall pretty solid season. Think my least favorite arc was Aqualads, because literally nothing happened for him as a character (bro’s entire arc was learning to take the weekend off) or story wise. But all of the main story was damn near season 1-2 level for me. Still too many goddamn characters but looking forward to what’s next.

The beginning of the second half of season 4 started out kind of bland, but these last 6 episodes really picked up pace. Overall I'm glad how the season finished, hopefully it gets a season 5. I STILL GOT HOPE FOR WALLY TO COMEBACK!!

I think the legion said that the main timeline, the one our crew is in, is what leads to the Legion of Super Heroes in the 31st century. But in that future Lor-Zod (after he's born when the house of Zod is released from The Phantom Zone by The United Planets and then sent back) is being pursued by Saturn Girl and the other two Legion members, but he escapes with the Time Sphere to go back and kill superboy to prevent the Legion from forming, ultimately creating an alternate timeline where the Zod’s rule and there is no Legion.. When Lor escaped with the sphere the chronton radiation from it prevented Saturn girl and them to be affected from this new alternate timeline since they were so close to it when Lor used it. So the three of them went back in time to correct the main timeline. Now with Metron, I think his experiment might have been to see if that shadow all along was meant to be Lor-Zods after the explosion, or if by sending him to die there it’ll just create another version of Lor for him to study, since he’s all about experiments and shit.

This was hands downy favorite finale of all 4 seasons. Whether the show gets renewed or if they have to continue it through comics, I'm hoping the Heroes in Crisis story allusion goes somewhere and is better than the original story.

Ngl I wanted the zods win they were defeated too easily it was basically 20 minutes of plot armor but I still enjoyed the finale I just hope they don't do another 5 year time skip with 20 new characters and actually show the supergirl/black mary storyline instead of saying they were defeated between seasons. But I feel like the writing has honestly jumped leaps from s3 and most of s4 they finally got back that s1 & s2 magic.

For starters Conner's new hair due almost makes him look like whole other person lol. I do wish that during the scene when Miss Martian was showing him his memories that they also show him being a hero or his interactions with the other teammates. Nevertheless, Lor's death was satisfying and it's neat how they brought it back to that shadow of ash; like most time travel stories the person trying to prevent some event ends up causing it or doing themselves in. Moreover, I figured y'all would be upset that Malefak survived, but Caped-Joel made an interesting point that the planet that Malefak got at the end is the one that Chameleon Boy said he came from and that got destroyed by the kyrptonians in the future so ironically the same kyrptonians Malefak helped are the same ones that will later destroy his new found world. Anyways, it was cool seeing Brainiac 5 as he is hero in the future who created the Legions flight rings ( I don't think the show explained that that is the reason why all the legionnaires can fly), and he is a distant descendent of the Brainiac that Superman fights who apparently pops up in the tie-in comics of this show. Also, I figured they would show Supergirl once it was mentioned that Zore-El had a daughter in a previous episode. Although I'm sure the next season will explain how she was in the phantom zone, and I guess she never interacted with the Zods. Overall, this was a good wrap-up and a good season, them doing the season arc thing for each original member of the team was a smart way for them to balance all these characters and plotlines. Obviously we still got the Brion thing to deal with next season and maybe they'll finally bring up the Redhood thing as well. Lastly, the finale of this season kind of reminded me of the season finale to Invincible where we go from an intense action-packed first half to a calm light-hearted second half. Despite some of the ways they had to cut corners on animation this was a well-made season all things considered. Hopefully HBO Max Renews them for another season that comes soon and they give them a bigger budget.

Some other minor notes from me: I like that Rocket, Nightwing, and Danny Chase are ok, although I don't know what they will do with Danny whether they'll put him in a new body or something. Perdita telling Garfield that she has moved on is interesting, and I guess they kind of hinted that their relationship was going south before he had his problems. I do wonder if they will put him with Terra since they have gotten together in other adaptations or maybe they'll introduce Raven as his new love interest since they were in the comics. I know people are eager to see if Raven and Starfire will finally be introduced in this show. Speaking of relationships, I'm not a shipper but during the wedding audience scene I notice some characters that could be a likely pair. In that scene you have: Cyborg and Arrowette (which could be a thing next season, and Static is still in need of a girlfriend after the joke they made about it last season), Adam Strange and Alanna (who I think are married and have a kid in the tie-in comics), Spoiler and Tim Drake Robin (as they were a thing in the comics), Bear and Dreamer (it's about time we see them as a couple after they have been telling us that two seasons), Amistad and Lian (Rocket's son and Will's daughter), and Collen Row and Traya Sutton (Harper Row's brother and Red Tornado's daughter, who hasn't gotten much screen time). Some other cool cameos include: Marvin and Windy who went to school with Meghan and Conner, and it's odd that Mal is wearing his guardian outfit there and I didn't see Bumblebee there and I gusse the other new gods Conner befriend couldn't be there either. Also, if someone could tell me who the dark-haired woman sitting next to Martian Manhunter is that would be great. Lastly, I agree that Icicle Jr being there makes sense as he is technically best friends with Conner and was ecstatic about him and Meghan's engagement. Edits: The black-haired girl was Bethany Lee (Snapper's wife), Bumblebee was one of the bridesmaids, and I guess Jim Harper is in the audience and Will was one of the groomsmen.

Okay so to clear things up(and this was my best way of understanding pls correct me if I messed something up). The original timeline things were peaceful until they released the Kryptonians and they proceeded to try to conquer the galaxy but failed and was thrown back into the zone but their son got away and went to the past to both stop the Legion of Superheroes from forming and to free his parents. As far as a “time loop” goes there isn’t one, in the first part that version of Zods son was not killed yet it was his future version (this part version). So it already happened and it was the “natural” order of events for this new timeline that’s been written . Metron just wanted to punish him y’all took the “experiment” part too literally. And I could be wrong but it wouldn’t have made sense for her to be the Emerald Empress and he not know. I believe that since the Eye of Ekron former host didn’t exist yet it chose one that was similar to her bc the the Emerald Empress of the comics was power hungry like her and it activated during her thirst for power moment. But ik that’s just comic lore and could be completely unrelated to the show so that’s why I say I’m not completely sure. So remember everything that the 3 from the future knows about the timeline is is kinda irrelevant bc it will not play how it did to them, things have been changed so don’t hold on to close to their words, Brainy said only 99% of the timeline has been restored and they made it a point to ask about that 1%. In time travel shenanigans, 1% is ALOT to worry about.

In some versions he was known in his old show to date Daisy Watkins and in the comics dated Aqua girl, Rocket, and Frieda Goren, whom he later married. Basically most of his love interests are either older members in this universe, dead, or not revealed yet.

If they do any “crisis”, they should do a Crisis on Two Earths Storyline and add in elements of Forever Evil. Imagine what the Light could do with the Ring of Volthume. Or with the Death Matrix of Deathstorm. Could you imagine “evil” versions of the Team? Maybe that’s how we get Wally back, Megaan fries his brain and then using the team, the Flash Family, and a few others, recreate the old Wally in the evil Wally’s body. But in comic book fashion, there’s still a piece of the Evil Wally still there that could pop up when the team least expects it, like a season or two later to destroy sanctuary (?!).

I know a lot of comics have done this weird thing with Superman where they have essentially made him into a mutant Kryptonian, but this is honestly better and more believable. Kryptonians are powerful enough as is. Superman doesn't need more special feats for himself.
