On one hand im happy a confession may finally come. On the other hand, Im sad cause I dont want this to enddddd

Comments

obito6ix

dat drake album was fye 😌

SuperflyAlex

There’s enough manga content for a minimum of 2-3 seasons

Nieves

This is only like halfway through the manga tho I’m pretty sure so we’ll prob get a lot more

FBGChiChi

Since the manga is ending in a couple of chapters I hope we get a season 4,5 and 6 announcements. A man can dream

iCY

is it true, I read in the comments saying that next episode will be 1 hour long?

Omar Bautista

We are around 132 in the manga and it's close to 270. We have much to get too

None None

The manga's ending in one volume, so we may or may not see more anime.

Mist

HOUR LONG EP NEXT WEEK WE MOVE

StorySmith []

Hope to god it doesn’t end there is so much more material left in the manga after this season. I don’t know the numbers off my head but there is nearly 100 more chapters left on the series to cover!

Riri

At the end of the PV Trailer they said "make sure to watch until the end" so I'm guessing Season 4 Announcement or maybe movie?

Terry King Jr
>>86024014

I hope, so there's a nice chunk of stuff to cover to give this season a proper ending.

Buffy

Yeah? Roshi looking majestic and breed able

wavyesper

The manga is at double the amount of chapters where the anime is so we definitely having about 6 seasons. Anyway potential ep of the year dropping next week😩

Jalen Holmes

dw roshi we will definitly get anothr

Totally Thomas

The first minute and a half of the episode had both "Take on Me" and Persona 5 references (with the whole phantom thief motif)

Mist

It isnt that tsubame likes casual dating, its that those are the type of guys shes been with and have asked her oout before, so shes not used to someone like Ishigami

ab

I feel like this series is too popular both in Japan and overseas to let it end at this point in the manga. The story really picks up after the culture festival

Roger Metheny
>>86024186

the anime is only halfway through the manga content so we're definetely getting more

Ragdefender2

Whoa did anyone else catch that Take-on-Me reference?

azerangga

hyped for the final eps

Krype

Gonna have too binge the manga after the last episode sheesh

Jimuel

lots of chapters to cover... lots of story to uncover right after this arc

Kevin Kovacs

Next week we have 1 hour long final episode right? If I heard that right.

R3APER
>>86025142

Think you mean "Take on Me". And Arsene Lupin is a literary figure from old stories, not necessarily a Persona reference.

Javier
>>86025344

True lol when they start saying she was for the streets, I was face palming lmao, they got hyped up and misinterpreted what she said

eric

gahhhh i cant read anything in comments anywhere im too scared

Aidan Navarro

Not gonna say much but there’s a lot of character development after this arc so it would be a shame if they end the anime here

LordFifth

I don't think its going to end, the anime is going to end at around ch 134, and the manga is at chapter 264 now, a lot more left to go and it only gets better. There should be a season 4

Kenta Nanaya

They did it weird but Tsubame ment that she usually gets hit on by the playboy types that just wanna fling so she can turn them down no problem but Ishigami was straight forward and she hasnt dealt with an actual confession like this

tiana britton

It’s not even close to ending (definitely more than one season worth of material especially since doing 12 episodes at a time) honestly & with the popularity it’s highly unlikely it won’t continue!

A.D.Z

No spoil there but next and last ep season 3 will be ONE HOUR

atlantiker2
>>86034975

One hour is just for japenese television. There will be two seperate episodes next week tho.

GufiOtaku

we are nowhere close to ending this. the manga has a lot left and is still going on. so yeah we're definitely going to get another season or two

Nick

I feel like Imma get clapped but Shirogane is the phantom thief right? It feels like all signs point to that, the confession he wants to do, the fortune teller saying he will deceive others for his goal such as chika letting them go because of it, and the last clue being he wants to steal clocks which could mean him wanting more time with kaguya? I'm prolly wrong tho

returntolife

I can’t wait, what chapter is this episode so I can just read the manga

Jazmyne Mattucci

Yeh nah this is the climax part of the show but luckily not th end. Cuz we still got alot of ground to cover after this arc. Gotta know if Ishigami gets the yes or not. And since the Manga almost finished so I assume they'll do all of it tbh

DG511

You guys might like The Irregular At Magic High School

Kurumi
>>86064487

they would but them comments gonna end up like no game no life lmao

Sun

BGS coming today? I've read a comment on one of the past reactions that the movie reaction was already recorded so I'm guessing sometime this weekend.

Theralyst

I'm 100% positive Shirogane is the Phantom Thief. Either he stole the balloons for his own confession as a backup in case Kaguya doesn't confess first, or purposely to keep Chika distracted and unable to ruin his plans. Either way, can't wait for the last episode!

JackTheDaniels

A Persona 5 reference!!?? Arsène... Phantom Thieves?? This is GOLD!!

None None
>>86070966

Persona 5 used Arsene and Phantom Thieves because they're really popular in Japan. Hell, there was literally an anime called "Phantom Thief Joker" that predated Persona by a few years. Blame Lupin III and Phantom Thief Kid for popularizing it.

Danny

MY BOI ARSENE APPEARING WITH JOKERRR

Lola

Thanks for the reaction and maybe Saiki K after this show? For real it's just if not more good as this anime and just as funny!

Francisco Rodriguez

Love how they played a remix of the persona 5 theme in this show got me so hype for no reason

Jarren Jenkins

Aye yo, the Persona reference! This show has it all man. One of my favorite series to date.

Dune
>>86070966

I was wondering how many people knew about arsene lupin outside of p5

PyroPhoenix

It’s not that Tsubame likes casual dating or playboy guys. That is just the only types of guys that have asked her out and the only way she has been asked out has always just been super casual and like it’s nothing. To her, someone like Ishigami confessing to her and doing so the way that he did threw her off and made her like that. Cause usually guys just go up to her like nothing and just say “want to go out?” No heart, or anything. Just straight up asking.

Deep
>>86186406

Just so u know the reference isn't to persona 5 it's to books from like the 80s I think about a theif named arsene which persona based the character off of !

Moon Glow
>>86186406

As the person above me said, it's a reference to the french character named Arsène Lupin that inspired some other works (Persona 5, Lupin the Third...)

YungZeus
>>86186406

Reminds me how whenever some hears ‘acid jazz’ or anything jazz related from other shows, they say “oh, this sound like Persona 5 music”. Or they think it’s referencing the game somehow…

Jarren Jenkins
>>86112264

Yeah, the Phantom Thief, a play on the Phantom Thieves from P5. Arsen is Joker's Persona in P5 and Chika being the detective is kind of like Sae tracking down who has stolen a heart. Plus, the Phantom Thief leaves a calling card just like the game.

Jarren Jenkins
>>86186406

It could be, I'd wager though they'd base if off the game because the thief leaves a calling card during a love festival (basically a play on stealing your heart) just like in P5. It could also be just me, but the jazzy choice in music during the beginning feels like a callback to Persona 5.

Lucius Seneca

Reference of "A-ha - Take On Me" was missed in the beginning xD

Aidan Navarro

Bro the next 3 seasons are actually gonna be peak I can’t wait. I just hope they do the Christmas arc justice 🤞.

Laandri

8:59 that look of pain, like tears in the rain haha
