Also, Ruthven is not working for the queen, he is the reason she is Naenia now, we saw it as the queen was remembering stuff.

Seems like Ruthven is the puppet master behind the Queen's corruption, but also not sure to what end exactly. Like maybe the Queen was going insane from living for so long, and couldn't be stopped because of her innate power as the first vampire, so everyone banded together to 'kill' her but it went wrong/there was an opposition to that plan and people like Jeanne's adoptive parents died. I love this show's world building.

The Vanitas death flags in this episode were insane, just like the ending from the first part. Noe will never be able to reach him, he'll never be able to save Vanitas, just like he wasn't able to save Louis.

so yeah my speculation is that ruthbar is working for the queen via nania to maybe try to bring her back. I think what's his faces brother whos imprisoned maybe tried to kill the queen based on his reactions and thats why hes locked up while Ruthbar is part of a faction trying to revive her
