Nah it's not lol Sinbad came out more than 3 years after the anime. It's a canon spin off show that ADD to the story. It's technically not even an obligation to watch it but they should because it's fun and gives more world building.

Oh man, you really weren't just talking shit. Okay, up if you're on a PC or Laptop it's definitely your internet connection. If you're on your phone or tablet, sometimes the patreon app acts a little funny. If you're using the patreon app, try pulling up your internet browser and going to the patreon website and watching it through there. Thats fixed a few problems i had with patreon like it not letting Vimeo uploads load up.

The issue is the player. Other Patreons I have visited upload with players where you can choose the resolution. The one they use here or the default patreon player randomly changes to like 240p, so even with average internet, the video randomly gets blurry sometimes. Personally its not really an issue for me anymore, but it happened a lot during Slime reactions where I couldn't even read the subs, so I feel his pain, haha.

Yeah its a real word. Its usually used as the plural for Magus. I think alot of people thought the manga made the word up so they try to pronounce it like them but thats not the case.

It's honestly one of my minor criticisms towards Lupa and somewhat the gang in general ; over exaggerating the slightest bit of skin showing on a female character as if it's blatant fanservice despite countless women irl wearing far more revealing clothes

Also this : "The term Magid (or Maggid) comes from Jewish mysticism and originally referred to a celestial entity, most commonly an angel, who manifests itself as a voice delivering mystical secrets to a kabbalist, or sometimes speaking through the mouths of the chosen ones." So I don't know if the character of Aladdin is closer to the later Abrahamic definition or if it's just a coincidence, but it seems likely that the "Magi" of the manga is just an imaginary and very loose Japanese reinterpretation of Eastern esoteric concepts. For that reason, the original pronunciation of the word probably doesn't matter here, since its usage seems very different from its original meaning.
