for context that was cut out from the light novels the goblins didn't care if they saved the kid or not they were just fulfilling the request of their commander and due to Enri leading the goblins she gained commander classes as well as level up because shared exp which is why she's stronger than she should be.

I forgot why but Enri got a real strength boost. not level (well she leveled up yeah in this volume she is level 6 i tell her classes later. nfirea too (he is level 12) but physical strength. I think she has more physical strength than Nfirea now the little info I can think of an look up: the goblin group has 19 members; 1 level 10 Goblin mage, 1 level 10 Cleric, 12 Level 8 Soldier, 1 Level 12 Leader, 2 level 10 archer and 2 level 10 Rider and Wolf also a small thing but not that big of a deal. this season covers volume 7-9 but in the anime they switched 8 and 7. so we see 8 first a sweet thing in the novel was that we saw the point of view from the bargahst. man I love to gush about the novels xD so one thing about Enri. she summoned the goblins. so she leads them and got the class commander. I believe that why she could make them duck. it was a command skill (something like that). Enri didn't activate it on purpose. she just yelled "duck" out of fear that they could die

Quick question are the guild members that Ainz is looking for as strong as he is cuz i haven't read the manga but if they would to fight 1v1 would he beat them or are they equal i would really like a reply lol

I wonder about this too. It seems that they designed stronger guardian npcs than he did, so my guess is that at least a lot of them were more experienced in playing the game.

Ainz's build was for roleplay so it wasn't that good, but he was one of the smartest when it came to game mechanics. He would have pretty good chances against most guild members with a few exceptions, the biggest be Touch Me who Ainz could never beat himself.

Short answer, ainz is somewhat strong, out of the 41 i think he’s the 6th strongest member. Long answer, unlike his other guild mate, Ainz’s build is pretty much a role playing build, he level up skill that fit the character of an undead monster, so his build isn’t optimized like Touch me or the other player. In term of understanding his ability cool-down and other mechanic he is very good, although he has never beat touch me in a 1v1 battle. That why he isn’t the strongest of his guild, but everyone respects ainz so much that they agree to have him as the guild leader.

Yeah they're close in power to Momonga. IIRC, Ulbert (Demiurge creator) and Touch me (Sebas creator) are for sure stronger than Momonga if they were to 1v1 (without world items)

Most of guild members would probably beat him as they had more min maxed builds. But that's not to say Ainz is weak its just that his guild mates were just to strong

Ainz’s cluelessness was the funniest part of this episode. Same with Demiurge, like, Ainz is a whole ruler, you can expect him to forget his plan sometimes.

It's hard to say because it depends on the situation and how the battle is set up. Each member have their own unique specialties that they excel at. Like if you plop Ainz and Perroinchino next to each other, Ainz wins. But if you put large amount of distance between them, Perroinchino wins due to her ultra long ranged combat. Touch Me is considered World Champion and most likely the strongest out of the Supreme Beings Ulbert has the most firepower and is strongest Spell Caster Ainz may lose to some of them, but since he has the most versatility and has memorized hundreds of his spells, he also may be able to hard counter some of the Supreme Beings if he has enough preparation and is fully equipped

Light Novel Spoiler (?) If I recall correctly, Ainz loses to most people his level the first time he fights them, since he did build his kit for RP rather than min max, BUT he would almost always win against them after that. He was way better at just grinding out plans and practice to deal with whatever he lost to in PvP... I think that included pretty much all his guildmates with the exception of Touch Me, who was just insane (World Champ)

To put it in simple terms, it's like if a world champ picked up one of the trashier characters in Smash Bro's. They're already so in tune with the game mechanics they could beat 99% of people easily. But against another world champ with a meta character it would either be extremely difficult or impossible. Which is equivalent to his top end min-maxed guild mates.

This anime was so good that it convinced me to buy the light novels while waiting between seasons. Definitely one of the best, especially with the world building.

@Doobie Yep, some of the NPC's in Nazarick are definitely built to be stronger than some guild members. Shalltear is a great example of a min-maxed pvp build. Won't list more for spoiler reasons, but they're an absolute menace. The only advantage guild members would have is their stupidly OP gear and tactics. Gargantua (big dude who threw the boulder at the lizards) is also a fun one. Some trivia that the anime doesn't cover, but he was actually a golem npc granted by the admins of the game to the guild as an achievement iirc. He doesn't have a mind of his own, but has the highest base stats of anyone including guild members BY FAR. He's basically a walking siege engine and Roshi's muscle build from Elden Ring.

pretty sure there are some that are stronger from his own clan but also some weaker, i doubt we ever see anyone from his clan tho since none of them were on when the servers went down except that one guy who logged off right before the end. Probably just see other players not from his guild.

When it comes to world building in a LN/Manga or Anime to me the only other ones that are comparable are Slime and One Piece off the top of my head. The World building in Overlord is so good that we probably wonʻt even get to see all of it by the end of the LNs.

Ainz is between a rock and a hard place. All he wants is to tell the NPCs heʻs just a normal guy and not have all this pressure on him but at the same time if he does there is a risk that they lose respect for him and revolt which is extremely dangerous since all of them are so strong. So he just goes with the flow and pretends he knows. lol

I definitely felt that way with certain anime and it's especially bad when you feel that way and have to wait a week for the next episode

(My theory, hear me out.) It usually happens when episodes are separated into 2 main sections. (1 is usually more exciting) This makes the other half of the episode more forgettable, and since you just experienced that 2nd and it is all that you remember, you feel like the episode was only that long (Half an ep is like 10 mins.)

Whenever I rewatch this show I low key skip this arc, thought it was a bit slower than the rest. I would watch a few scenes from it tho.. but as a first time watcher this arc is truly amazing for world building and seeing what Carne village has been up to.. and it’s really funny 😂

you are right she is lower level than Nferia he a level 12 will she is level 6 but you also have to factor in there builds since she's a farm girl she works in the fields building muscle while he's caster working in a lab. p.s. if you want to know the level for a human it's very simple add up all the clas levels then you get their total level for heteromorphs and demi-humans it's slightly more complicated.

if you want to know the classes they have just google their info cards the author of the light novels made if you want he translated versions. it only gives name, titles, race, classes, and parameters.

the world building in this series is amazing, unlike most isekai's they take some time from the MC to help keep the series fresh where as most other Isekai's just follow the OP MC and the story gets stale usually in the middle cause there's no real development
