CaptianDynamite

Pretty sure she said "m-word", referring to a word describing what happened to Vueko, that might trip a content filter.

hypokokoro

I miss this show so much, I hope we get another season 😭

Anarchy

And it was awful. Well. Not actually that bad. But not good either. They gotta try to make a new and better one I swear

Anarchy

I know. This is 3 years later. But it’s obvious right? People were mining for relics. And other rescources

Anarchy

They literally said at the end that it’s cool how there jumping through the past lol. (Sorry for saying this 3 years after)

Vinne

Not even 30 seconds in and I already feel terrible for this girl

Student Loans

That Kevin Penkin music always hitting frfr.

Daylight95

Yes. Sadly tho this season will catch up to the source material really badly. We’ll have to wait for the next adaptation for years

Q

lets gooo

Yummy_sauce

Where is made in abyss S2 streaming?

MonarchXIII

Let's goooo! Episode one already got me hyped! OST seems fire so far as usual

James

Daylight95

Golden city is on sixth layer roshi. They’re kno of seven layers of the abyss

godUsoland

Great first episode back! I'm looking forward to the PAIN!

Narluga

Nooo I was having a good day too. Welp time for tears

Killjoy

Damn first episode and roshi already clapped himself

NecDW4

Wow, they really moved that flashback up quite a bit in the timeline.

Dandre Parker

Mwelp let me get myself ready for pain and more pain

A

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnn...This arc is rough. Like "bondrewd would've needed therapy after reading this" level rough Also Roshi clapped himself but by lowkey not even realizing some of the important things he said regarding this arc, he's back to net 0 on the clap scale.

Bestoria Jy

Why the fuck I can’t fine this damn episode!!!!

godUsoland

Didn't expect to see Donovan from Berserk in the first few minutes of the episode.

Erica Collins

LETS GO I just finished watching season 1 & the movie + y'alls reaction to it a couple days ago 😂

itsfidy

by the way, that compass they kept showing was the compass Riko dropped in s1 that she lost really quickly

SoClose

You get a time out, this show gets a time out, everybody gets a time out!

Chris Tercero

Lupusan there is an rpg made in abyss gams coming out September bro .

Peacefinder Simply

was it later in source material? Don't specify when though.

RavinFox .

Can you guys believe they're actually giving us a GAME on this? I'm highly concerned lol

Zachary Provenzano

ROSHI hit me with nostalgia FF Crystal Chronical was the goat! WHERES OUR SEQUAL!!!

Pan Cakes

LES GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

A1_MiLFshAkE

It’s interesting riko and reg don’t show up till the last part of the episode. If anyone is curious it’s about the past

WalloWing

Kevin Pekin is doing God's work with this sound track!

Taylor Wilson

Yeah I have a feeling theyr'e gonna make everything connect and go REAAAALLLY smoothly in the anime

Unknown

I wanna buy a battery

Deshawn Smith

hopefully not that long. Tsukushi has said he's working on getting the chapters out faster than usual. meaning no more waiting 3-5 months per chapter lol

Cristian

WTF SEASON 2 IS OUT? AAAAAHHHHH

SupremeCai

Exclusive on HIDIVE lmao

Hertog

is that Yelena's voice actres from aot on belaf?

drmayberry7

THAT LEGIT FELT LIKE 10 MINUTES WHEN THEY JUMPED OUT THE CAPSULE COPRS THING

Daniel Borrego

its pretty clearly the past as the town doesnt exist yet

Chikᶠⁱˡa

Is it just me or the pit looks different at the surface when the past group look down on it? Its like a straight vertical cliff whereas in S1 there’s landscape

Wanderer

Yeah I think something happens to the perimeter of the abyss over time, just can't tell what

A1_MiLFshAkE

@Daniel B Not everyone is going to pick up on that I hadn’t watched this series in a hot min but someone else let me know of this or I like many anime only's wouldn’t have known. Don’t think Roshi & crew have realized yet.

2026-10-11 14:00 FINALLY! Also, there's a Made in Abyss video game coming out for the Switch (not sure if it'll be out on other consoles).

Lotan

i think its coming out on everything, atleast i know its gonna be on pc, it already has a page on steam

SkylerPlays

I just started playing Final Fantasy X as my first FF and it feels pretty good understanding Roshi referencing Sin

Didier

That feeling of calm before the storm at the end of the episode, like in Dead Space when you reach a new station. You know something is gonna fuck you up, you just don't know when and where.

Didier

I'm like Sheera. I try my best to never use the n-word when I speak english, I think it's vulgar, mind-numbing and self-depreciating, but when you hear everybody else use it in every sentence around you or when you see every Internet meme use full-blown Ebonics like it's the new normal (yet I bet 80% of shitposters are white, it's like Hood slang became an Orwellian Newspeak at this point), you quickly feel like giving up. Hood culture is toxic.

Hi tech

bro lmaoooo u got issues

TastyBlueSoap

yeah honestly I'm really liking what the anime is doing with it. It seems like it's gonna make it really smooth. and gonna fuck us all up

Didier

Wasn't the n-word what Sheera talked about at the end of the reaction (when she sounded like having a stroke)? My English skils are not enough to understand that section of the video.

Chikᶠⁱˡa

Rewatching the gang reaction to the first ep of S1, the OST when the title rolls always warrant a reaction from them back then and even now in S2, that's the Made in Abyss made me wet smooth ass OST magic

Jazko Exclusive

It was for a completely different reason

theDBan

When that Kevin Penkin OST hit 😩

Bosastar

Is the capitan guy Bondrewd?

ChickenDinners

if you haven't watched the 3rd movie I'd suggest you do so in order to know who bondrewd is.

Kaitsu Tokiyas

yes yes this !!! maaan give me a shivers ... the ost of made in abys are really great

Drake Rage

I haven't finished the episode yet, but I just realized that they are showing those people from probably a LONG time ago because they have said that time moves a lot slower the deeper you go... so even if new Cave Raiders from far into the future go deep, they might find these people of the distant past still being alive.

SWAGxMAGICIAN

in one of the newer episodes they said that they had been down there for around 150 years but when they got to the island it was actually close to 1900 years ago. So in the 6th layer, time goes by more than 12x slower than on the surface.

Dale

Lol you said something about not waiting 3-5 months???
