Aladdin wasn’t supplying ugo with magoi anymore, that meant someone else or something else was giving him magoi/power, that’s why judal said that’s cheating because Aladdin wasn’t giving him power anymore so who was?? I still don’t know the answer to that till this day, also not all magi’s have djinns btw

I'm pretty sure no was one supplying Ugo with magoi, that's purely Ugo using magoi on his own to come to Aladdin through the flute. Which is why Ugo's head stays in the origin (Where all the rukh gathers), so he can continously supply himself with magoi without Aladdin. Just what I believe to be happening anyways.

From what I remember I think Ugo isn't allowed to leave the place he and Aladdin were before so Aladdin is only able to bring everything but his head out. He definitely has his own magoi though.

if you ask me the pacing is all over the place from the jump, if you understand one thing about magi its that they LOVE their timeskips, first 8 episodes and we already have a 6 month timeskip- in the manga its worse, but as a whole i think the manga suffered a lot after the long as arc after the anime because they like. shifted publications

It's Ugo own power. Aladdin never captured a dungeon. Jugo only correlates djinn with dungeon conquers. Also Ugo was weaker when Aladdin was supplying him power that's why he clapped back once he used his own though still weakened

Was based on sales of the manga and popularity of the show it didn't do so well so it didn't get a S3 I wish it did get renewed I honestly love this show.

I really like this reaction but sometimes I wish you guys would stop acting like you know more than the characters in the show. Judar straight up says Djinn need constant magoi supply to even manifest and that Aladdin isn't supplying him with magoi which is easy for someone like him to tell. Due to that contradiction between the Djinn and Aladdin he flat out says that must mean the Djinn doesn't belong to him and someone else is supplying him magoi, yet you guys don't even consider the possibility he might be right and just over analysis that it must be due to Aladin's wish to be his friend which makes no sense.

@Jey rellim I get that characters can be wrong but Judal clearly knows alot about the concepts of magoi, djinn and magic while Aladdin doesn't know anything. You would think maybe he might know what he is talking about due to him being somewhat of an expert in that field. It's just like the situation with Brain in Overlord . Brain is a veteran master swordsman and it would make sense he is able to sense and recognize the presence of a really strong enemy he already fought. Yet they think Brain is so much of a clown that he wouldn't be able to recognize Shalltear and proceed to rag on him for thinking he improved in strength and that he could cut Shalltear's nail when he actually did. Even the way she was blocking with her nail made it obvious it was her but they can't accept that maybe Brain was right and they were wrong. I know they love to speculate but sometimes it's just a bit much when the anime is clearly trying to tell them something and they just go "nah it's actually this".

I think its like Roshi & the other comments said ugo was just the djin of the dungeon aladdin grew up in & when aladdin left he granted him that wish. I'm guessing if Ugo didn't grant that wish for Aladdin his dungeons should be there with him in it waiting to be conqured. Juddah must have thought that Ugo was just some magic or something aladdin was doing. Plus he saw him trying to give him more magic when he got iced up. Juddah started yellin "Yo they tag teaming, these people BEEN tryin to jump me since i got here" then CLAPPED!!

Just to note: the correct spelling is Judar. in both the manga and anime, it's Judar. (it was also in the episode title) As for what he did exactly to create magic, i don't remember them giving a specific method on how to use it. The way it's described is a magi, or magician, giving commands to the rukh in their bodies such as "freeze" or "heat up." it gets pretty complex later on, but each spell does get progressively more difficult to cast depending on the number of commands given. imagine it like coding a game like pong versus spider-man ps4 that involves far more code to move in a direction. Super pumped for you guys to see the next episode! one of my favorites!
