Kingmakaii

She said ik you going to see another woman as a joke seen bro reaction and was like wait you dead ass😭

JsnSkg

Well LINE has nothing to do with cocaine whatsoever, and 99% of ppl who watch enough anime would never even associate it with it whatsoever lmao. It was a funny title, but nothing suggestive at all, unlike the Ep3 title.

JsnSkg

Establishing friends is very situational first off. Secondly, anime has its own logic lmao.

Oax Al

So, this anime is fundamentally about a boy who is on the autism spectrum and learns to cope in society better thanks to a vampire chick, right? Am I crazy for thinking that's what this is about.

JsnSkg

"Yeaaaaahhh, you're just gonna suck me in front of her?" ROFL. That killed me XD

William Burke

On the note of the ending song the manga/anime was named after the song because it was the author's favorite song. It's also why both the intro and outro are by the same people

Pyne

Funnily enough, this show actually is directed by the same person who directs Monogatari

zILovePelmeni _

Fun Fact : the Mangaka reached out to a band to ask for permission to call his manga the same name as one of their songs: Call of the Night Ironically the same song is now the outro

Danny

Roshi: we don't ever see anybody out at night. 3 drunk dudes getting lit every episode: Are we a joke to you?

Bocchi In Shadow

He did say it was their Social App last episode, I'm sure he was just making a joke lol

Devin B

I can't blame Akira for the misunderstanding cause she thought Ko left the transceiver specifically for her to contact her and when he actually used the other one she thought maybe he wants to see her after all this time.

Devin B
>>88144958

Agreed. You can be around someone and naturally just hang out with them without ever asking if you're friends. I think people can pick up on other people's vibe and just act accordingly to what they feel.

Devin B

I think Nazuna was actually keeping an eye on Ko as he was looking for her cause the transceiver has a range of 150 meters so she was probably making sure to stay in that range to wait for his apology.

Indolence

their in middle school

by chances

i take it back tjat I kinda doubted if this show's good enough. actually nice to have some relaxing moment like this.

Kreative

Middle School ** But to be fair, they're 14 which is also HS age.

KJ
>>88144983

Wait he's autistic? Or am I slow and yall joking 😭

KJ

Does the music give anyone else hella Samurai Champloo vibes? The soundtrack hasnt missed so far

Devin B
>>88152727

Yeah it definitely gave me those vibes. I honestly wasn't expecting this show to have a dope soundtrack.

SpicyWater

Sheera always with the out of pocket shit, but then when lupa be saying something its "YEAH??"

Thamor

I am waiting for a episode where they ask relationship advice from the 3 drunks...it will come very likely. As they have shown those guys all 3 episodes already.

Arc

It's Japan, once you turn 10 your parents just vanish

Mikestrike
>>88144983

Doesn't really have to be autism. Could be so many things like depression, social anxiety, or just not really fitting in. Kids that age are awkward as hell

shadowslime03

Kinda interesting I looked it up and the Question "Do you Line?" refers to associate(usually romantically) with someone regularly or to "go out" with them.

Thamor
>>88159871

It's just a joke thing that I am very certain will happen =)

Oax Al
>>88144983

Yup, he just reminds me of my nephew who's on the spectrum.

Aziouss

I just can't be okay with this whole thing. The boy is 14 for fucks sake and he is literally being groomed by a vampire. All of these supposedly cute moments just don't hit home for me because that overarching fact is always at the back of my mind...

KJ
>>88192511

Most vampire stories are like that real tallk, the age gap is inevitable ig. And I thought like you too while reading, but as the story goes on you realize this aint really about romance as it is learning about the vampire world and the boy improving his lifestyle Minor spoilers: I remember being 100+ chapters and the most physical thing they do was still a kiss lmao. Trust me, i dont rock with much weird shit in anime so if it got too much i wouldve dropped

Danny
>>88192511

it rly isnt that big of an issue cuz its just fiction in the end...plus the concept of vampires or immortal beings in romance can't be determined by logic since they don't exist. You can argue that "oh at least wait for the kid to be of legal age" but 1. vampires have no obligations to follow human laws OR morals 2. just because a person is over the age of 19 (legal age in US) it dont make them an adult mentally. A kid at 14 can be just as mature as a 20 year old. Of course, in the end, this is fiction. But too many people bring up this kind of stuff, even when its consensual, and somehow determine that this is more serious than gore. Like we have the most violent things in TV shows such like Berserk, Game of Thrones, The Boys and the most complaints somehow are towards this stuff. Nobody ever complains about how violent a show is but always this kind of thing gets controversy like Mushouku Tensei.

Ever Alezano

Name of the song in the middle of the episode? A BANGER!

Jay Harris

as a parent, I know my kids will sneak out and do dumb stuff; so I basically plan to harass them to introduce us to the gf/bf lol. Embarrassing parent mode for the win! I did dumb crap as a kid so I understand, as long as no drugs or vampires are involved it's all good.

I think its called loss time by creepy nuts, its not fully released yet unfortunately

Matrim Hall

My best friend came up and asked me if I wanted to be friends and I said yes, so it was obvious in my case ^-^

If this already sets you off, you definitely shouldn’t watch Monogatari.

faded
>>88192511

The mangaka just could’ve said Nazuna is about same age as Ko and i think that would be believable. Her personality and appearance are young, to me she doesn’t seem like an adult.

faded
>>88192511

@ggg184 i know roughly how old she is. I’m just saying that the author could’ve chosen to make her the same age as Ko and it would be believable without changing her character itself.

faded
>>88192511

@ggg184 her approximately age is listed in the wiki. I don’t really wanna spoil her exact age range here but she’s definitely no minor the time she met Ko, maybe back then when she was turned into a vampire tho.

WeavyBoo

I think that response she gave at 7:19 is because what he said implied he didn't consider the two of them friends

Chikᶠⁱˡa
>>88309926

damn now that you said it Idk why it didn't click with me when I first saw it. That explains everything and why Nazuna said what she said at the end... "only 1 friend" he said lol

Joshua Hoerner
>>88192511

My big problem isn't her age. Stories like this can be served just as well if the mc was 18-22. College student irritated with the rigamarole of day to day life sneaks out at night, dropping out of school to try and become a vampire. It's a different culture and these stories tend to be told to younger audiences but it just doesn't feel that hard to do.

grodon909

@22:50: The reason the show gives monogatari vibes is because it was directed in part by the same guy that directed monogatari. Good catch!

mitch anderson

Does anyone know the name of the song that starts at 17:08?

lVersatile
>>90735581

new song by creepy nuts, if im not mistaken it should come out on sept 7th JST

mitch anderson
>>90735581

Brooo thanks so much. It got released in their new album on September 7 just like you said 👍🏾

Zachary Provenzano

i figured it was directed by someone from the series of monogatari the scene panning ect was too close to monogatari to not notice
