Aaron Posey

Alpaca 🦙 shot her shot like she was 2016 Steph Curry. 🐐

Mari

Hope you guys are feeling better roshi( including lupa)and Are you guys gonna react to Darwin’s game since it came in second place in that vanitas poll roshi ?

XWF Outlaw

Fun fact: the VA for Odokawa is the same as Tanjiro from 'Demon Slayer' and Vanitas from 'Case Study of Vanitas'. Talk about range.

Smash Bran'Discootch

"I don't know if there's crack in Tokyo" is also an amazing sentence.

AdventHorizons

Gun gorilla came out the woodworks with the blick scared the hell outta me honestly wasn’t expecting him soon lmao

LiquidXGravity

Yes please react to Darwin's Game I just finished and it is a really good show I hope for a season 2

Jake Thompson

This show reminded me a lot of Snatch, or Durarara, where you have a huge cast that intermingle at odd points and really flesh out the city they're living in.

jesse almonte

and the US is still waiting on the movie

baja

Coming across Opie and Anthony

Gabby Boakye-yiadom

"Yeah!? I'm trying to go home!" Shows the blick. "Good evening and how are you good sir." Love the switch up Roshi acting like that's you as the driver.

Devin B

The only thing I'm thinking about is these guys can't close the cab door when they get out?

Kyle King

Most cabs have buttons to open and close the passenger seats. Its a safety thing in most countries, though its also a convenience for the passengers. I was a cab driver for many years and yeah, they're literally a life saver.

Devin B

I wasn't sure if the taxi that Odakawa has had that feature cause it looks like an old school taxi.

HeyImV

I think it showed the automatic feature in episode 1 where he opened the door for the viral passenger :D

Devin B

Actually y'all are right I had to go back to ep 1 to see him use it for that guy. I just thought they were being jerks and making more work for him.

Hamshank

Honestly this anime probably has some of the most realistic sounding Japanese conversations. It's not exactly a difficult prize to win, but its refreshing to not hear weird reaction noises or everybody speaking super dramatic.

grodon909

Man, this show is a trip seeing all the things you missed the first time around.

Louis Kalman

A large part of why I like these reactions is the combo of the Sheeragan and Roshi's perception/memory even if they clap themselves sometimes. Lupa is just a goon so he's always a fun inclusion, but the duo works great too.

John Nesbitt

Just so happy to see yall watching this, it only gets better from here.

Nugby

I thought the idol group's manager sounded familiar, that's the guy who voiced miyuki shirogane!

by chances

"that's racist, black cat's into fried chickens?" LMAO XD

by chances

how could I miss out and sleep on this fire show. this show's damn good.

Mr.PTMF

If you have time, could you react to devil is a part timer? A new season finally came out and it's a silly and fun show for the both of you to react to.

slipHAZARD

Awesome so happy to see you guys reacting to Odd Taxi. It's such an underappreciated anime. If it weren't for Mushu it would've probably been my favorite anime of the year.

YoungTylerRonan

FINALLY IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU BOYS ALL DAY

TimmSchmimm

YES! THIS! Yo, I love these kind of stories so much, I don't even know what "genre" this is or if it even has a name but you naming snatch or durarara described it perfectly. I often call this a guy ritchie type story (guy who made snatch) because I seriously dont know the correct term and if you know it please tell me but if you also love it and haven't seen his other movies I recommend: lock stock and two smoking barrels, the gentlemen, rock'n rolla and as for anime baccano.

TimmSchmimm

I love odd taxi so much... PLEASE if anyone knows what this type of genre is called with this small town and many dialogue driven characters which slowly expands and connects all of them etc. (It's hard to describe but this theatre play-ish atmosphere thing) please tell me the name of this genre or what keywords I need to use in order to find similar anime/movies etc. :(

Anthony Purington

I don't think it's a genre per se, but rather good writing, and world building. Kaguya-sama: Love is War actually does this. Didn't realize that Maki was in the background the entire time. Until I read the manga, and a lot of the side characters become more relevant.

Buzzlitebeer

can not wait for lupa to get well new season Harley quinn droppt iam hyped

Gmac paddiewac

one of my favorite story noir anime. end got me. maybe we get oddtaxi 2? might just be a 1off. Who knows

C0nspiracy

The movie is mostly just a recap with ~10 minutes of new content at the end.

rickie woodson

well she's just a singer aka a cog in the machine, i dont think we should be blaming her for decisions made by management/record label. this is the gimmick they are going with: lead singer is in front, has most lines and no mask, the other members are glorified pips with masks. welcome to the world of kpop

Steven Fechter

Most similar I can think of is kevin smith style View Askewniverse movies. Low budget, independent, dialogue/character driven movies. This show reminds me heavily of the original Clerks or mallrats.

Jake Thompson

That style is usually a non linear narrative, or a circular narrative. I went down the Guy Ritchie rabbit hole and watched all his movies, and Baccano! is prolly one of my all time favorites. I love that it has an awkward number of episodes because that's how many they needed to tell the story and didn't compromise by adding filler or making huge cuts.

Kiara

That type of management isn't limited to kpop, though. They have main and lead vocalists in a group and yes, they tend to have more lines, obviously, but the other members don't get overshadowed to the point where they have to wear masks because they're not considered the "main act" like how these girls are shown here. I get what you're saying about the whole "the label makes all decisions" thing, but in regards to kpop, at least from the groups I know, it's not that extreme lmao.

Rin B

The genre may be noir, a subgenre of crime fiction. Monster is a great anime with amazing dialogue. Perfect Blue is good as well.

Ranginald Vagel

Wait no comments about how this guy printed a Tweet and put it on his wall??? That's the saddest shit I've ever seen.
