ElswSwine68031

ROSHI JUST A HEADS UP PLEASE DONT FORGET TO LISTEN TO THE 4TH SEASONS OPENING IN EPISODE 1 OR 2

ElswSwine68031

Roshi remember about Pandora's Actor and how he can look like anyone? That was him as ainz when the real Ainz showed up as Momon

Kingmakaii

He better then me I wouldn’t of even of asked to take the sword I would of just took it when I killed him im just gonna take this cuz this shit dangerous then a motherfucker 😭

PolishWizard
>>88941618

was pandoras actor playing Ainz or Momon? Cause in S4 we see that he has been playing Momon.

jesse almonte

God I wish the cgi wasn't dog water. the dark young look so booty

PolishWizard
>>88941618

but I agree with you, I always thought that he was playing Momon here. Even though Albedo was blushing when "Ainz" toucher her.

ElswSwine68031
>>88941618

I’m not sure and I shouldn’t have said Pandora was Ainz and Ainz was Momon so sorry for that. I only said it cause Momon was speaking and Ainz wasn’t so I assumed that the only reason “Ainz” didn’t speak was cause if it was Pandora’s Actor then they didn’t want him to say anything and possibly make a mistake with how they want people to see Ainz

Kirby745i
>>88941618

Only the real Ainz's eyes glow. Pandora's Actor's never glow when he looks like Ainz. You can tell Pandora's Actor was Momon also because of the whole "No one would marry you," line he said to Albedo—something the real Ainz wouldn't think to say.

Andrew Kang

One of the guardians of Nazarick, Pandora's Actor (the German army uniform), has the ability to shapeshift into someone else. In the ending scene, he is faking as Ainz-sama and Momon is the real one.

ElswSwine68031
>>88941618

That’s true. I just assumed Pandora was Ainz cause we all know how extra Pandora can be even when imitating someone so they didn’t want him to say anything

Denzelwya

Damm that lady was caked up

ahomelesscake

Crazy thing is Mad House wasn't going to do a season 4 which is why it said and the story goes on. Thankfully they heard the fans and made season 4. Also yall really forgot my man Pandora's Actor who can turn into anyone lol

Jay

just like the other comments pandoras actor (the one he created with the yellow outfit from season 1). you could tell when its pandora cause they way he talks. he was playing ainz in season 2 when ainz was momon and vice versa.

rafael salas-garcia

the momon you see is pandoras actor (a shapeshifter) he has actually done this a few times before first was during the interrogation of sebas and the second time (not shown) was during the worker invasion.

Gas Bandit

The role of Momon was briefly being played by Pandora's Actor. There's been several times in this series that PA has stood in for Ainz, they go into it more in the source material and in the specials between the seasons. Also, now that you've got all the big Kadokawa names under your belt... you guys should REALLY watch Isekai Quartet. It is a four-way crossover series between Overlord, Re:Zero, Konosuba, and Tanya the Evil. And it is absolutely bonkers.

Maxxy

It's a classic trope in old school dnd, fighters would lose to casters who could stop time and dump delayed spells on them.

Drake Rage

19:16 Y'all got it backwards, Ainz is the real Ainz, and Momon was Pandora's Actor. Remember when we first saw him in the Treasure room, he had changed his appearance to Albedo's creator. It is subtle, but Momon was being over the top with his "TOH" expression when he jumped down to save the kid. Also Albedo made a comment about "hearing that from you doesn't make me happy," since it wasn't Momon, but Pandora's Actor. We have also seen him play Ainz before, when Sebas saved that girl and Ainz had to test his loyalty because Solution told on him. Ainz acted a little goofy with his flashy teleportation spell, which falls in line with Pandora's actor always being over the top with his "acting."

Nathan Andrews

So as a heads up it was Pandora's Actor pretending to be Momon, you can tell by how Albedo reacted to each of them while taking.

Nudist_Beach_

Ainz has got to be so bored. His only real fight was against Shelter. No wonder he's just going around fighting with swords. Hard to believe he was an adult gamer. Yo a true gamer too he's in a new world and still only cares for is video games npcs. Yo WILD. He seems a lot smarter than he gives himself credit for to I know it's from playing games a lot but it's something I noticed he doesn't credit himself a lot for. Him just bringing up gazof who's a country's top warrior never even planned or thought to counter a magic spell against a magic caster. I get who TF would think time magic but it's still crazy to know something next lvl to person of this world but it's just a normal common thought to Ainz who NO LIFE'D a games for 15 yrs. Pro Gamer vs UNKNOWINGLY Noob

Drake Rage
>>88941618

Momon was Pandora's Actor. I was able to tell because Pandora's Actor is always a little bit "extra" when he is acting as someone, like being too flashy. He made a goofy "TOH" sound while jumping down to save the kid, which was the giveaway, along with Albedo commenting something about Momon, but blushing when Ainz came down to meet her.

Panuwat Rattanapontee
>>88942117

No Ainz is the real one 'cause Albedo brush near him when he comes out and she said to Momon like "Hearing that from you don't make me..." That is because she didn't care about Pandora's opinion.

YungZeus
>>88942117

Nah, he was Momon. Ainz definitely wouldn’t have said “no one would marry you” to Albedo lol

YungZeus

I still wonder how does the “time stop” spell work in Yggdrasil. Like how did it work in-game, an online game?

Dan

ains was basically just saying that yeah the sword can actually effect me so its a "fair fight" but in reality it wouldnt ever be possible lol

DemonLord Rimuru
>>88941618

Yeah it was pandoras actor that was playing as momon. The reason Ainz didnt speak is because if he did then people will hear that they have the same exact voice. ************* Possible Spolier************ You notice in season 4 that he is very careful about who hears him speak in his normal voice when he is Ainz.

The Bored Boar

The reason why Ainz instantly killed the Head Warrior is not to show dominance but to show respect. If he didn't fight the Head Warrior with his full power and strength, that would be him disrespecting the Head Warrior's wishes for a proper duel. Ainz respects him that much that he doesn't hold back anything.

Pilausky

When you look up "no diff" in the dictionary, this is what comes up

Tay

ainz had too much respect for gazef to play or toy with him i actually like how they did it. it would be more wounding to gazefs pride as warrior like he said if ainz didnt take him seriously

SinBound

So for what happen with Ainz and “Momon” being in the same place you will understand in S4 but you can figure it out since we have seen Ainz’s son

N Rudd

Just an FYI ; Momon in the confrontation was actually Pandora's actor. The easiest way to tell which is which in the anime is by the fact that Ainz's eyes glow red, while Pandora can't replicate that part. Another info dump but Pandora's actor is a doppleganger, (essentially a mimic). He can change his form to copy another, but will only be able to mimic around 80% of their true strength.

Pilausky

btw the kid that threw the rock and the mom was mind controlled. The whole thing was really and truly a performance

Bob The SkuII

So it was never really touched on in the Light Novels or the Anime but in the Web Novel it was heavily hinted at that Gazef and Brain were gay and either in a relationship or interested in each other. kind of makes Brain being so mad at Gazef for dying make more sense with this info.

Bigduck9000

Isekai Quartet time?!👀👀👀

Jordan~

Crazy to think that this was 4 years ago and there was talk that there wasnt going to be a 4th season, was a long wait and its good to be back this year

Random Guy

I can't wait for you guys to catch up to season 4

William

Ainz setting himself up to be the State and the Resistance both at the same time.

Bill

Isekai Quartet and Season 4 would be great, you can watch several episodes of Isekai Quartet in the space of a single episode of something else. Plus it's getting a movie.

Kinglaive

yeah, i cant believe they forgot about my man pandora's, well at least they know now, better late than never

Skebaba
>>88943066

He didn't start to play YGGDRASIL as an adult, tho. He was like 13-15 IIRC when he started to play during his free time from salaryman work hours (basically visiting clients & arranging deals, albeit a relatively low-level salaryman position), and even as some 20 whatever y/o, it's not that uncommon for his co-workers to be some 10 y/o kids (he's one of the lucky few who could afford elementary grade education, thanks anarcho-capitalistic dystopian Earth)

cobra93stang

Yo reference to Minnesota with the Lake Minnetonka, gotta love that for the home state! Also great reactions, glad to see Lupo seeming better

かもめのたまご

that time stop and delay magic combo (any attack during time stop won't work but u can delay ur magic and end time stop right before it activates) is some technical shit only around 5% of Yggdrasil player can actually time it right

Zarvick

Ainz did what every op villain should do, kill the “protagonist” immediately without letting them pop off.

Fabi
>>88943637

probaply like a stun to the player who the magic was directed to. but the idea of they experience a "lag" I like more xD

Fabi
>>88944754

yeah they can figure it out right now because they have seen him in season 1

FatalBlake
>>88942117

Its pretty easy to see. If his eyes glow red, its Ainz. If u dont see eyes, ist Pandoras Actor. We already saw his eyes glowing even under the helmet. Here it was not the case because it was Pandoras.

Shaquille Hinds

"He still can't even beat Shalltear bro" You do realize that Shalltear is a raid boss that would take a party of level 100 players to beat right?

Shaquille Hinds

Also Ainz specialty is instant death spells so him killing Gazef that way makes sense. Also the person playing Ainz when Albedo was talking to Momon was Pandora's actor, the doppelganger treasurer.

Jdogzero Silverblade
>>88954654

he was only shown once and mentioned once so it would be easy to forget him. in front of the vault and when switching at the tomb raid.

hertung wert

Ainz barely won against Shalltear, and he laid like 300 traps before the fight, applied 400 buffs, and then he used 500 pay-to-win one time use items. Shalltear is the most powerful member of Nazarick in duel settings.

JayX-B
>>88969343

But he also didn't use his full strength. He was test running stuff.

Nathan Andrews
>>88969343

Keep in mind Ainz specializes in summoning undead to fight for him, something he really couldnt do against Shalltear without her healing off of it. He was at a large disadvantage.

Mikal Adkins

Excited to see y'all react to S4 next week.

Ranginald Vagel
>>88969343

He COULDNT use his full strength as a Lich. Bad matchup. If he sent in Cocytus it would have gone differently for instance.

Mari
>>88969343

Shalltear is the strongest guardian when it comes to a 1v1, but yeah if he would’ve sent cocytus and abeldo, shalltear would’ve most likely lost

Dark Shogun

I don't know if anyone said it in the comments but one of them, Ainz or Momon, was Pandoras' Actor. I'm guessing Pandoras' Actor was playing Ainz since he didn't talk.

Nasty
>>88965966

im pretty sure pandoras actor was Momon in that scene since you can se Albedos reaction to when ainz touched her shoulder. And the insult Momon said to Albedo.

None None
>>88951404

That's called controlled opposition. You set up a dude in the enemy force whose job is to make them feel like they're accomplishing stuff, so they'll never actually accomplish anything for real. It can also be done by funding some loudmouth on the other side through a proxy and feigning losses so they get put into a leadership position, then threaten to cut their funding if they start to actually do anything dangerous.

EC
>>88978794

pandoras actor was momon, you can tell by albedo's expression (she hates pandora and would never react like that while being touched by him)

The Pebble

I was conflicted whether or not to watch season 4 or to wait for them to catch up, so glad I did.

Daniel Borrego

Ya ainz is technically weak against warriors i think. he had the cheat like crazy to beat shaltear

Yanpo
>>88943793

Wanted to see if someone else got this. Also, Ainz only extends a battle beyond the amount of time it would normally take when he wants to play with his prey. He was actively choosing not to be cruel to Gazef by ending him in an instant.

Yanpo
>>88945012

I thought Brain was the one that was gay, but it does make sense that they both were.

Percival
>>88978794

Pandora's Actor was Momon based on Albedo's blushing reaction to when Ainz appeared and touched her shoulder. She can tell which is real and would not react to a fake Ainz if that were the case. Another tell is that Momon was acting extra extravagant which Pandora's Actor always does

Luis Lop

If you have the opportunity, it would be amazing if you read the light novels because the anime reduces the lore and background of the characters to only a fraction. So-bin is the illustrator of the novel and the ending images, he's fantastic. I hope you follow the last season too...

Zohnty Luwang
>>88986991

Na, he showed how he has always the upper man hand despite being a natural disadavantage to warrior class like shaltear, since he is a hardcore pvp players, he wanted show how vast of experience gap lies between him and the guardians.

Infinity

these dumbies forgot pandoras actor has been playing momon for like half the season already lmao.

Ethan
>>88941707

I just look at the official light novel artwork and cry ;__;

coot

i'll just add for the people talking about Pandora's actor, he was Momon at that time, but you can tell when he is Ainz bc he won't have the glowing eyes or the red orb in his chest like in the scene at the mansion with Sebas and Tsuare etc. The anime isn't as clear about when it is Pandora's actor as the novel.

AMetalWorld

Sheera got it perfectly backwards lol. Momon was Pandora’s actor, Ainz was Ainz. That’s why Albedo said she didn’t give a fuck about his opinion even tho she knew Ainz was Momon. Anytime you see the red glow, that’s Ainz. Anytime you don’t, it’s Pandora’s Actor cosplaying him

Yanpo
>>88943637

Since the player is fully immerse in the game, I imagine that the VR equipment does something to make you unconscious, then wakes you up as soon as the time spell is over, but you're completely unaware that you ever went unconscious. That way you can't, as the player, make plans during the time lock on what to do once the time lock is over.

Ghastly

Im excited for them to start the next season.

Kevin Barz

first, Momon was Pandoras Actor, second this move was just insanely smart, it gives the people of E-Rantel instantly hope, that it will not be that bad and that they are protected.

Lloyd Edwards

Wait till you see who Brain's squaring off with in the S4 OP... you gon be like Nani? (I've been assured that it actually happens in the LN)

Lloyd Edwards
>>89013749

Maybe not but they're still pretty clear about it. As you said the glowing eyes is a clue but Pandoras actor's flamboyance is a dead giveaway. Whenever he's there you can 100% tell its him

coot
>>89013749

well yeah but not everyone pays attention 100% and it could be easy to miss for some.

Eric Motta

Can y'all react to Isekai Quartet?

Dragonfire
>>88986991

I'm pretty sure that Ainz is a hardcore PvE and Roleplay Player. He made his whole Character around the image of a Overlord.

Michael McDoesn'tExist
>>89098053

Oh you haven't read the LN? Broo then S4 op Hollow Hunger must be a crazy intro for you lmao. All I can say is FUCKIN HYPE

Tiz Waz
>>88965966

Also Ainz had red eyes whenever Pandoras actor mimics Ainz he doesn't have red eyes
