I am confused how they came to that conclusion, lol. It is like if I told them I learned how to fly a plane and their response was "Oh, you are a bird?" They prolly just had to watch too many things real fast, to catch up, so they forgot information like what the show said a Magi is supposed to be (aka That they can use Rukh from the environment, they choose good King candidates and give them power by making dungeons and guiding potential King-candidates through it to give them Djinn weapons, etc.)

Magi the adventures of Sinbad (Side back story of Sinbad) was actually pretty good if not better. But the other instalments are not so much. Towards the end of this one I didnt want to watch the next season of this. I don’t remember why I found it so boring towards the last few episodes. I wonder how others felt too. Some reviews were along the lines of average or pretty good.

Its actually the opposite for me. I preferred the season 2 than season 1 because of the magnostadt arc. That was probably the best arc in the anime because it actually becomes more shounen-like. I love the old man's tragic back story, I like how aladdin finally unlocks how to use magic, I love how some alibaba and morgana's character developments.

I felt like the end of the ballad arc dragged tf on and I felt the same way, but the second season of magi (besides 1 boring arc) is way better than the first imo. The Sinbad spin-off prequel was enjoyable the whole way through because he's just a crazy op protagonist and that's always a layup for the writers

While I agree it’s a spoiler, it is also something you could possibly figure out yourself, considering that they state that he is using heat magic, and Kassim who did just become a Djinn doesn’t have that Mark.

Yeah, even though this Season is going great, it is the weakest one of the Magi Series, in my opinion. Alibaba is cool but the characters from Sinbad and Magnostadt are way better, lol. This Balbadd stuff was just about sorting out Family Drama, they haven't begun their "Grand Adventure" yet.
