Fun fact: the two dudes flirting with Nazuna are actually a cameo of Creepy Nuts, the band who sings the OP and ED songs for the show. They voiced themselves in this episode. Also, the ED song "Yofukashi no Uta" (Call of the Night) is what inspired the manga in the first place.

Working in Japan can be really bad like that. There's a lot of 'obligations' that you have to do like that and you're pretty much expected to do it. Even in terms of taking PTO or vacation, sometimes you have to bring gifts or apologize for other people having to take over your work while you're gone. I would never want to work in Japanese businesses

honestly i dont think the reason most other characters in the show dont care about seeing her with Kou is cause of the age bs in Japan. when i was reading, until they revealed how long shes been alive i never thought she was "grown" like that, outside the beer nothing she do gave me the vibe she's mature like that pretty sure its like roshi theory and her body doesnt age as a vampire, and i think its true considering what goes down later

That's not exactly how it works, that law is really ambigous it tends to be overruled depending on the situation, like if the diferences are 13 - 15 or 13 - 18, there are more rules that can overrule that law based on that.
