Roshi and the gang are working HARD. Early uploads, multiple shows a day, some last minute shows tacked on even. Makes me kind of worried about October when MobPsycho3, MHA6, Chainsaw Man, Cobra Kai, Bleach(?) and more all come out. Genuinely concerned

It is a lot, but I think they'll be able to manage. By October, this, Harley Quinn, COTE, Overlord, Summertime, and Made in the abyss should be finished or closed to finished. Plus all those shows you listed will be once a week and not twice like the shows they're wrapping up. So provided they don't introduce anything new, I think they'll be fine.

So in the comics, the facility Ethel's son is being kept in is Arkham Asylum. Also, the Johanna Constantine character in the show is genderbent John Constantine. There is a separate Johanna Constantine character who is John Constantine's ancestor and she appears in the show as well. Think it has to do with DC having other plans for the character (an HBO Max show) and not wanting multiple versions in live action at the same time and Neil Gaiman, the comic's creator wanting a different take for the show

Some fun stuff from this episode: -Joanna Constantine is a stand-in for John Constantine -The House of Mystery and the House of Secrets that Cain and Abel live in are the same ones that you see in Young Justice and other DC shows/movies. -The Fates Morpheous visits mention that he helped them with Circe, this is a reference to the same Circe from Greek myth and one of Wonder Woman's villains. -John Dee (Ethel's son being held in the cell) is an iteration of the original Sandman from DC comics who was a supervillain known as Doctor Destiny and was imprisoned in Arkham Asylum.

In the comics she's an the ancestor of Constantine who did some jobs for Dream back in the day. They changed her to a female version of John Constantine for the show cause they didn't have the rights since J J Abrams is making a show about John Constantine

I supposed he could've asked for the names of those that possess his tools. There are a few ways to get around giving useful answer to those questions, but it would be harder, and the answers would still be more useful. Still, The Fates know exactly what they are doing, and they gave him far more information than he ever needed to find his tools.

The House of Secrets and House of Mystery started as anthology horror comics that ran off and on from the 50's through the 80's, with Cain and Abel as the respective hosts. Think Twilight Zone in comic form, with those two as Rod Serling. Neil Gaiman, the author, actually took a lot of little bits of obscure forgotten DC history and wove them together when he made the Sandman. It's a trick I think he picked up from Alan Moore.

To be fair, The Fates are fickle anyways. Not like he could be specific since it would require him to ask more than one question at a time, which he tried. Even asking two questions in the same sentence would incur the wrath of The Fates. He just has to work with what he's got, he has at least one name and it is bloody Constantine of all people.
