Picking up a girl at a bar is equivalent to paying for one at a whorehouse? For an 18/19 year old? You think Isaiah wanted that? He wanted to do something he normally wouldn't be allowed to do, he wanted to party and flaunt his status as a Peaky Blinder somewhere other than the garrison where everyone already knows who he is. And he probably wanted to let any dumbass racists know that they're untouchable, and probably never expected anyone to fight them since Michael was with him. Arthur, John, and most of the other Peaky Blinders other than Tommy and Polly do dangerous and unwise shit all the time just because they can. It's another kind of high, with the added bonus of making people fear them and getting free reign over the city.

As far as dumb shit people have done on this show, this shouldn't even be on your radar. It's pretty much normal behavior for them, and career criminals in general. They don't enter this life for the stability lol And again, idk about you, but I am not interested in prostitutes compared to single women my own age. Even just for a one night stand.
