RENISNOTOK

His mom left to another country to escape from him lol

snowwy

let’s goo i’ve been waiting for this

Champion Bescos

Chozen! He’s so damn good. For me, I think this is tied for best season. Season 1/6 Season 4 Season 2 Season 3

Omar Bautista

Mexico was such wasted arc. We don't even get to know why his dad is evil

Alex

? I mean context clues are there for the audience to definitely figure it out, lol

Taku Bell

Chozen is lit, I really enjoyed his character. Tbh, this season was kinda lacking in a lot of ways. Don't get me wrong, it's still an 8/10 season compared to most shit on TV nowadays, but when you compare its fellow seasons, I believe it doesn't holds up as the best. I think, from least to best, it's Season 2, Season 3, Season 5, Season 1, then peak CK Season 4.

Denickart

It's not really relevant in a series about a high school karate war

Taku Bell

Nah, they did okay in explaining what kind of guy Miguel's pops is. It's just that arc was really not needed at all; take it out and the story would still make sense.

JJ

bruh sheera tripping about her reaction to miguel and hector lmfao

Argo2Unitard

That's not why it was wasted, we know exactly what MIguel's dad is. It's wasted because it doesn't really add things to Miguel's character. He already was estranged from his biological dad, this arc just served to reaffirm the relationship he had with Johnny, which was wholly unnecessary.

SirRendorr

i thought that was kane in the thumbnail lool

JJ

eh personally, I felt this season to be cornier than the previous. and the fight choreo was definitely not as fluid/good as the previous seasons either

Kingmakaii

Bro I immediately was like ain’t know way this nigga terry don’t know who this nigga is 😭

Devin B

I think this arc was somewhat needed cause even if Miguel wants Johnny to be a father figure he still had that need of closure from his actual dad before he could move forward. He needed to see firsthand how bad his father actually was to realize what he fully has with Johnny.

GoldenBoy

Nah roshi your up on that one bro after seeing the type of man Miguel's father is and the way he was talking about his mother and grandmother i think its best he didn't tell him he's his son cause that could of potentially lead to him using his connection to find his mother who RAN away from this nigga without telling him I think the purpose she didn't tell him either is because if he'd find out she wasn't going nowhere after that So I declear the clapped 👏 hammer on you Roshi for this lol 😆

Argo2Unitard

Yeah, but Miguel didn't need to go to Mexico and find out his dad is literal Pablo Escobar. There's simpler ways of showing what a bad father is.

britt

sheera: “tori’s not gonna let them jump him. tori’s listening” ma’am what?! she left the building 🤣

CT

I’m glad they gave it a couple episodes, then got it out of the way. I was really worried that Johnny, Miguel, and Robby were all going to get sidelined into some dead end American Karate Boys vs. the Cartel subplot limbo for the entire season. I think the point was that Miguel needed to appreciate the life and family he already had, and they got that done with plenty of time left for these characters to jump back into the main plot and interact with everyone else in meaningful ways.

iCY

wait u guys watched ip man? I was going to recommend it to you guys after all these shows are done

Zen Reacts

the Sheeragan has lost its power with the way these predictions are going

TONYHWK2021

bro i thought this mexico arc was gonna be the whole season lmao

Smash Bran'Discootch

Chozen: "You aspire to something greater. What is it?" Terry: "Have you ever heard of Plutonium??"

Lucky_Icarus

Terry Silver on that Inglorious Basterds shit bro. Chozen didn't raise the German 3 and that was a wrap.

EmoBurrito

Man I'm glad Miguel got his closure. But what about mine? TELL HIM. Now we'll never know his fathers reaction

x_XBurner361

I think this was a future arc setup….Miguel left a whole bag he was willing to pay money for in the previous episode at his dad’s house unless it was just a plot hole lol

Marcus Brown

That was miyagi do come on roshi and lupa 😆

TimTakDoh

A man like Miguel's father(killer... no way that man isn't a killer) does not have a right to know who is son is so that he can put his son's life into danger. F that.

rickie woodson

same reaction but in all caps. such an unsatisfying ending. they been seeding this interaction the whole series and all we get is two eps, no clarification on what all the criminality hector is up to, and no direct confrontation between miquel and hector. i can only hope he expands his fighting club to the valley so he comes back in season 6. I NEED CLOSURE! plus it would give mom's some much needed screen time

Mozart Waddell

Those kicks from Johnny look so ugly 😂

Oax Al

Silver really said, why you crip walkin. Daz crazy catch this 9mm karate.

Devin B

You can only do so much when you reach that age but that fight with the MMA dude definitely showed Johnny's age

Mozart Waddell

Hard to believe he's 56. I've never seen Johnny in such a one-sided bout. Not even in his showdown with Kreese. Kudos to the writers for not allowing an aging karate practitioner to easily take down a spry mma fighter.

Tabbs

Sheera just be saying shit in this series

Zephyrs

Miguel out here having a whole Yes theory experience in Mexico with his Dad and then L

Night Wolf

Cobra Kai for life!!

Yanpo

We just thought it was going to be a Miguel Arc, but it was really a Robby/Johnny Arc. Miguel just played the MacGuffin they had to find.

Jay rellim

no the sheeragon has always been like this. when it's right, its scary accurate and when it's off it's sooo fucking off lmao what makes it funny is just how confident they be sounding too

KeYo

daniel should have prepared chozen better then that. with all the money and connections that terry has you think he wasn't gonna know?

Champion Bescos

LMAO. This was my exact thought when I first saw that scene. Called it as soon as Chozen didn't say kampai.

The Divided One

Working smarter not harder? Yeah Sheera? In this circumstance that's like going to the gym and lifting 5 pound dumbells when you can lift 30's and saying it's smarter to make it easier on yourself; That's missing the whole point of physical training lmao

Renni .

i cant blame miguel , mans was told one thing and was seeing something completely different

YBNSMELLY

idk know if anyone has pointed this out but theres no way this the end of miguel's dad because i'm pretty sure miguel left his bag at his house witch probably contains something that will lead him back miguel

marr_xD

Why the switch back to the old intro 😂 I just realized

Temeculous

When you have two high quality intros why not mix them back and forth,

Jules Eris

the pocket chili lmao

Phroug

I can't be the only one who noticed that he most likely didn't eat the chili. Like the whole prayer/karate thing looked waaaay too suspicious to me

Drake Rage

LMAO, I knew Robbie didn't eat the last chili. First when Johnny slammed some more money on the table on the last round of chili, I was like wait, did Johnny switch the chili to something less spicy? Then I was focusing on Robbie's hand and he started doing fancy hand movements but we never actually saw him put the chili in his mouth, I was like yeah.. Robbie did a sleight of hand trick without putting it in his mouth, lol. He recovered super quickly from eating it too, so that was another giveaway.

sainttrunks1982

That's because Johnny showed up to filming out of shape with Big Belly and about 10-20 lbs heavy then previous seasons. Which should be contractually not allowed to happen like with most lead film actors

Mozart Waddell

That's interesting. Yeah I know many big lead actors put their bodies through hellish workouts and regiments for their roles.
