in all hoensty, the old man from b4 is not an indication of vampires losing control because it takes ALOT to get tot aht point. like they mentioned, its like if a human dont eat for many days, and at some point they will be unable to control themselves if a nice plate of meat is placed in front of them and they will consume it without regard. its no different for vampires. if they suck blood regularly just like how we eat food regularly, they wont feel the need to take more than they need to. that old man pretty much killed Akira because of his refusal to drink blood. he could drink from blood bags, take some strangers and he would be able to do so without hurting anyone. but he pushed himself to the limit, which i can respect that he wanted to keep his last piece of humanity, but it was dangerous for him and others.

I really think vampires and humans can actually coexist because in this universe vampires don't have to kill people, they just have to suck blood and it doesn't even seem like that much blood. They are also just like humans considering all of them used to be one at some point. If people have a problem with them sucking from people's necks, they can have like some blood vending machines with pouches of blood or something lol

You were spot on because in the volume notes the mangaka leaves is that he always mentions how this was only meant to be like 6-8 volumes but along the way he just kept coming up with more ideas and it got more popular and now he’s on volume like 12 or 13 lmao so yea it was always meant to be a small slice of life romcom but turned into a mystery thriller romcom lol love the manga
