The thing with Asta is that he is literally the natural enemy for most of the people in Black Clover. Even if he defeats someone that is capable of destroying continents that doesn't mean that he's capable of the same feats. If it doesn't involve magic then Asta by himself is definitely not universal.

If anything I think it's more like if a newb uses a strong account and doesn't know how to fully use it but later makes a new account and has to start from square one and starts to understand the game more.
