I had mixed feelings about this. I heard in comics she would actually rip pages out when she didn’t want to deal with boss fights or whatever but this episode felt boring other than the secret hidden messages about other marvel projects that have been hinted at in like every episode

This was a very creative ending and very true to her character in the comics and probably a test run for Deadpool but fuck all that I’m just excited for the hulk movie that’s coming 😂 Side note: don’t like the way they made skaar look he looks like a bitch compared to how he looks in the comics😂

She didn’t like the finale so she went to talk to Kevin like she does in the comics. She has argued with Stan lee before about who she was fighting and they straight up skipped the fight so it’s in character but I can see why people aren’t feeling it. I for one loved it a lot

I got mixed feelings too mostly it just feels too off the rails and trying to hard to be meta to the point they kindve forgoed a lot of plot in the final act, plus had the classic marvel show rushed feeling. It was also rlly weird how they worked abomination in yeah he seemed very sellouts for his new retreat but he also genuinely seemed to care about ppl and had way too good a grasp on mental health to give the inteligencia ppl the time of day. They basically walked back a ton of the plot and his character development they worked hard to do.

I think the planet hulk and world war hulk stuff needs to be its own separate thing outside of the MCU. the MCU already has professor hulk or something like it so it wouldn't make sense to go back to that stuff unless it was a different timeline before he becomes professor or they have him regress to normal hulk again which would be weird.

Sorry this is long. With everything the MCU has done and already having professor idrk where planet hulk and WW would fit in cause for Planet Hulk it was in a time where Bruce was still normal rampaging hulk but to a very dangerous degree so cap, tony, dr. strange and maybe more (my memory is trash) decided to send him off to either a random planet they felt he wouldn't cause much ham on or they intentionally sent him to sakaar i don't remember. and what happened in the MCU ragnarok is a very dumbed down version of what actually happened and without thor, i wont say big plot spoilery type stuff, but something big happens there that causes him to send him into a rage that as far as i know and have seen is the angriest he's ever been (someone can correct me if I'm wrong). and World War hulk is him going back to earth to take revenge on tony and everyone he feels is responsible for putting him in that situation. he kills A LOT of marvel and beats the shit out of and/or kills almost all the x men and most of the marvel heroes. i just don't see Kevin feige and the rest at marvel doing a darker storyline like that without either fucking it up bad or seriously changing stuff to where it just isn't what the original story was

guys 1. she hulk actually broke out of a comic panel to speak to the writer, so that was a nod to that and 2. that's daredevils original color scheme in the comics but the mcu isn't making it permanent he's getting other costumes

I love meta breaking stuff like this and it was warranted. As much as I was giving this show a chance, the whole plot about people after her and them not really showing up that much was bugging me and I just wanted this to be a fun show about people abusing their superpowers and being held accountable for their irresponsibility and arrogance but the MCU nonsense they forced into it was getting in the way and She-Hulk for real did what her comicbook counterpart did and shut that shit down against the writers was great. SheHulk had the best finale out of the Disney+ Shows no real debate to it. She literally attacked all the plot lines of the other shows for being generic marvel plot lines we've seen for years. And the idea thst the movies are the exact same way as well.

Look... This show was just bad. It was nonsense from start to finish. I don't know why they are even trying to fit this into the MCU canon. The writers were so bad, they had to hide behind a "lol we know none of this makes sense" meta-narrative to cover for themselves. I don't care that She-Hulk breaks the 4th wall in the comics. This show isn't clever or original. I have seen many other shows do meta 4th wall breaks like this. Supernatural, Malcom in the Middle, Rick and Morty, Aladdin, Twin Peaks, Sonic, etc etc etc. And of course Deadpool. The jokes aren't even good. It's like the most basic jokes you can come up with.

These last two episodes really saved the series for me. The finale especially was my favorite of all the DisPlus marvel shows. I'm down for another season if they tighten up the plot. Also love love love Tatiana Maslany.

People who pay $10 a month just to hatewatch a show and then make everyone look at their takes are wild. My only gripe with She-Hulk was that it took too long to get to the big conflict for how short these Marvel shows are. I get that they're expensive as shit to make. But some parts of the show just felt like setup for bigger things rather than focusing on making a solid first season. That being said, I love Tatiana Maslany as Jen/She-Hulk, and hope we get to see her fight alongside the Avengers at some point. Or at the very least, an appearance in the Daredevil show.

It also can be cathartic for people who find that they also dislike a show. Maybe there are people who don't like the direction Marvel is taking their TV shows, and by criticizing them, they hope that Marvel will create better shows in the future. It's fine to watch a show you don't 100% love, because then you can share how you think it could have been better with other people, and ultimately have a discussion about that.

Writing and pacing and plot pertaining to what?! Y’all keep saying that like some big bad was supposed to drop in and make MCU altering changes every episode. No one said anything in this show was going to be about that. It was about her being a lawyer and living her life, which I’m pretty sure she did every episode. People were just spending every episode waiting for Daredevil to show up cause y’all can’t hear heroes are gonna be in proximity to each other without thinking some endgame shit is supposed to happen. Just because you don’t find something entertaining doesn’t mean it’s bad or that your opinion is universal, and hopping on every reaction just to say how much you hate something isn’t expressing your opinion. It stopped being that after your first comment cause you could easily just stop watching after that one expression instead of keeping going with something you hate. Well, one, they could stop writing all of the characters as dumb clowns. It's ok to have some characters act like idiots, but not every single one of them. Wong was written like an idiot in this show, and now he is an actual criminal who is guilty of breaking a murderer out of prison. Wong should be put in jail for this, but I am sure they will ignore this ever happened in the other MCU shows and movies. Two, get a consulting lawyer so the court room scenes can actually make sense and not be utter nonsense. Literally none of the law that was depicted in this series has any baring on reality. They don't understand how lawyers are supposed to behave. They don't understand trademark law or how plea deals work. They don't understand the difference between a parole hearing and a appeals case. It was a complete mess. Thirdly, I would either remove the 4th wall breaking or lessen it to after-credits scenes. I know She-Hulk does it in the comics, but for me it doesn't translate well for the show. Getting meta is actually really hard to do and not ruin immersion.

I don't think Doctor Strange or the Avengers would go after Wong. I mean, the Avengers barely even exist anymore, and they don't assemble for little things like someone's legal troubles. And Steven Strange wouldn't care anyway. The problem is this show just portrayed Wong as thinking he is above the law, when sticking to the rules was something Wong took very seriously in previous movies. It's why he's Sorcerer Supreme now instead of Strange. Now they've retconned it so Wong not only doesn't care about the legal system, but he doesn't really even care about breaking magical laws either. He was fine suggesting magical ways to solve Jen's problems when really Old Wong would have never done that. Also I was editing that comment above for a couple minutes and added in a bit about how bad the courtroom stuff was in this show. That actually might be my biggest gripe.

Yeah that’s the one thing I hate about subtitles. They can ruin a big moment. Case in point: the subtitles in Legend of Korra literally spoiled the Toph reveal for Roshi, Sheera and Lupa.

Planet Hulk was technically already done in Thor Ragnarok. What they’re setting up is World War Hulk (but they’re doing it in Captain America 4) Remember, Banner was stuck as Hulk for two years not knowing what was going on. Hulk could’ve stuck his dick in a random alien woman and made Skaar. Now that Skaar is older and the Grandmaster is dead, they probably want Hulk to come back and rule Sakaar.
