edgerunners is better in dub because the characters have accents and ways of speaking that didnt translate into the sub. so im glad they are watching the dub version

Dub for edgerunners is pretty awesome as far as dubs go. They even have some notable voice actors too.

Sub and Dub are both good, if anything watch it dub for variety sake. 99.9 percent of the anime you'll watch are sub, might as well try a good dub.

I'm gonna respost my response that I made for someone in here so more people could check it out. Guys, I understand your reasoning about the DUB, BUT this is not the same case as always, you can go and watch on Youtube the podcast Friends Per Second, Episode 8, where they interview Rafael Jaki, literally the guy who had the idea of creating the show, he was the one who literally went to Japan and sat down with anime studios to try to make his project reality and why it ended up with Trigger, he explains all the process from the begingin to the end of the creations of Edgerunners in the video. It wasn't just a "Trigger anime" it was a collaboration between CDPR and Trigger, BOTH of them worked on the anime and on the voicing, I would say Japanese and English are BOTH of the original leanguajes for this anime, he even explains how Netflix wanted someone more famous voicing David, but they didn't let that happend because the current voice of David is the one they wanted, so they went with a "famous voice" with Faraday instead. It's a pretty good interview if you loved Edgerunners like I did, you should check it out

People hating on the English dub need to settle down. Not everyone wants to watch everything in Japanese all the time. Cyberpunk, no matter what studio animated it, originates from the West. So honestly it seems more natural to watch it in English. I mean if League of Legends made an anime with Trigger. I'd wanna watch it in English. Because League of Legends originated from the west and it makes no sense to tell people to watch it in Japanese just because the Japanese acting is superior. People are so anti-English voice acting for things created in Japan that it's starting to get annoying. Unless the English acting is on Haikyuu dub's level of stank ( It's funny at times but the actors flopped on the serious moments ), stop saying the Japanese dub is better.

I think dub would be better for cyberpunk because night city is situated in the middle of california essentially and the whole universe was created by mike pomdsmith... Just because its classified as an anime doesnt mean it has to be watched japanese dub

Dub for high-profile cases is always better. Never understand people who enjoy listening to a cast of people who all sound like they have the same voice. There's far too many insanely talented english VA's to not watch dub.

The dub for Edgerunners is great. Having watched it both ways I definitely prefer it over the sub, but I've also played the fuck out of the game and just like hearing all the slang and familiar voices as well. Plus it's got Gus Fring, c'mon. Dub it up!

The dub for Cyberpunk works fine. The show is set in a North American location too. Not everything has to be sub, y'all. Let people breathe lol

Had to do my daily check-in on this post for the arguments lol. I watched Cyberpunk subbed first, then dubbed. Honestly, dub's pretty good. Only reason I still tout subbed, is due to Becca's VA. Had to give it to Kurosawa, she just knocked it outta the park with my favorite character. Nothing against Cazares, just wasn't it for me. (I admit bias, I really liked Swindler from Akudama Drive)

I think the dub is good. There's a lot of accents that fit the characters in English that are not represented in Japanese.
